But first, the good stuff:

· The soundtrack is really good.

· Ella and Belmont are really good actors. Also, I’m actually obsessed with Logan (surprise). Elle and Dean are straight fire, and oh my god, Beau!!! They’re all amazing.

· Drunk Shakespeare night? Super fun. I’d totally hang out at something like that myself.

Now for the bad:

· This is not the Elle Kennedy book I fell in love with. They cut out all my favorite, most important moments: the slowburn, Breaking Bad watch nights, the funny kiss with Dean, the "fluffer" scene, the confession in the car on Halloween, the dad’s ultimatum, that absolutely incredible shower scene, and so much more. Oh, and "someone" hooks up with Hunter Davenport?? Are you kidding me?

· The first kiss with Garrett feels so blurry and rushed, no sensation. And the sex scenes? Like three elbows and two glances over a 10‑second montage. What even was that?? Meanwhile, they show Ellie’s boobs for zero reason in the very first episode.

· Oh God, what did they do to Tucker’s character?? He’s just this whiny, childish guy in a pink apron… I hate them for that.

· The visuals and the plot are totally cardboard. So chaotic. So many unnecessary characters and scenes that pop up for no apparent reason.

· No sign of sloburn so far, everything’s moving way too fast

· Not sure they even included the Hannah and Dean kiss scene

· Looks like Thanksgiving isn’t happening at Garrett’s dad’s place — which was a big deal in the book

· If Hannah and Garrett break up for a reason other than his dad’s ultimatum, that’s gonna be such a letdown, total fail

· I’m terrified they won’t include one of my absolute favorite scenes from the book — the whole ‘hands-off’ thing and the confessions in the guys’ locker room shower. It’s so hilarious, sexy, and low-key touching part

1. First of all, I was literally squealing like a fangirl. Hannah and Garrett are just everything. She’s all flustered but with that spicy, bratty energy, and he’s down bad, acting all cocky but also kinda lost. Like, that’s just illegally cute.

2. Everyone (including me) is confused about that Halloween scene with Garrett in costume. Dude literally hates that holiday — it’s a major turning point in the book. So maybe:

· The writers changed the trigger date. Maybe now Garrett hates New Year’s or his birthday?

· Maybe it’s not a Halloween, just a costume party at the frat house?

· Or he still hates Halloween but showed up anyway for Hannah?

3. Dean and Ellie… and that stare. Omg. I still don’t think season 2 is about them, but I feel like Amazon Prime is just trolling us because they know everyone is obsessed with that ship. Most likely in the actual show it’ll be something like: “Yo, who’s the hottie next to Wellsy?” and Garrett goes “Bro, don’t even look at her.” Also, Logan barely got any screen time in the trailer, just saying.

4. Who the heck is that blonde?? She got more screentime in the trailer than Tucker and Logan combined. She’s even in the lasagne scene… I doubt it’s Grace, but this actress isn’t listed in the season 1 cast, which is kinda sus.

UPD: So I just found out that's Logan's sister 👀 Hmm, looks like season two is gonna have some big story changes. I have a feeling they might start slowly revealing Dean/Ellie and Logan's lines as early as season one...

5. That funny classroom scene: “He is looking now” 😅 I really hope the show has that many goofy moments and that whole 2000s romcom vibe 😍
