Most humans cannot adapt to survive 0 F. We just tend to die from exposure.

Like I hate hot weather as much as the next Midwesterner but I also lived 4 years in Florida and taught at a summer camp that had no air conditioning. In Florida. In the summer. You drink a lot of water and take afternoon naps between lunch and dinner.

nah if it gets over 80 it has to be a VERY SPECIFIC kind of heat for me to be okay. once it starts getting humid, i’m actively dying

meanwhile if it’s 0, i just put on my fucking carhartt and gloves and i’m good. i do more walking outside when it’s cold and snowing than when it’s over 80
