Poetry in (slow) motion.

I don’t have experience with full blown strap-on pegging, but my partner and I love butt stuff :) My biggest and best advice would be to go slow. Start with a playmate you trust, and communicate the whole time– don’t be afraid to ask them to slow down or ease up or whatever the case may be! It’s going to be completely new and it’s full of unique sensations, so take your time. 

I would recommend having your partner start with the perineum– that vein that runs from your balls to your butthole. Have your partner stroke that line and apply slight pressure– I’ve been told it feels great. From there, you can have them slide their finger (preferably a small one, and definitely one with clipped fingernails) towards the opening. Sometimes this is as far as things go, and that’s totally okay! There’s no rush. Maybe you can take a knuckle and then start to feel like that’s all you can take. That’s okay as well! Work your way to progressively larger fingers/toys and use more motion with them as you feel comfortable. Some people like the beckoning motion, some people prefer the in-and-out thrusting motion. It’s all up to you, so don’t be shy about trying new motions and asking for what feels best! Two small pieces of advice: oftentimes having something in your butt will make you feel like you have to poop. This is totally normal and it’s really just because that’s the only sensation we have to compare butt play with. Odds are, you don’t actually have to go, but it’s always okay to ask for a pause or a breather. Secondly, lube is your absolute best friend for any and all butt stuff. Like really. Anuses don’t produce any lubrication on their own, so without adding lube, it won’t be as comfortable as it can be. Be super generous with that stuff, it’s a game changer.
