My Awesome Obsessions

pals — here’s my truth.

i was a huge fan of supernatural from ages 14-18 and then i had to go somewhere for a little while that certainly didn’t allow anything related to supernatural or homosexuality in any way. after that, my obsession with the show went away, but i was left with destiel in my heart. im 25 now. i didn’t watch the finale or the big final destiel scene until literally maybe a month ago? two? idk, but WOW. it got me back into the fandom and into reading fanfic and i’m overwhelmed by the fact this happened. IT HAPPENED. they gave us something concrete right??? LIKE — I — I CAN’T —

since i’m late to the game, is there anybody willing to share what it was like for the fandom after Cas literally says “i love you”? thoughts and reactions and shit. also does anybody have a good fic about destiel after the finale? or should i write about what ideas i have cause it looked lacking from my (tepid) research.
