#cars#fire#car#i'm kind of charmed—is charmed the word? i don't know what feeling i am having exactly about this—anyways i am having A Feeling about#how i know this is based on a photo reference that is itself an AI generated image because i reblogged that image 7 months ago#it's really wild to have done this all with pencil though holy shit#i think we are in a time where occasional AI images are evocative enough that they inspire human responses. most of our dreams are#also unremarkable but occasionally you see an image in a dream that is so striking you want to make art that captures it.#ai as an industry can go fuck itself but sometimes there are rainbow sheens on rain puddles due to leakage of toxic substances and yes i#vastly prefer the unadulterated puddle. but it is very human to respond in a human way to seeing a rainbow in a puddle. Even when you know#what it actually is. Even when you know it's an aesthetically-evocative symptom of a very toxic root cause. Still we respond.
