And as a reminder, teenagers often have crushes on older and/or unavailable people like celebrities precisely because psychologically/emotionally they’re not ready to have a relationship. On a subconscious level, fantasizing about someone you know you can’t be with allows you to experiment with your emotions in a safe way. And obviously an adult taking advantage of that will disrupt the entire thing.

I had a crush on a dude four years older than me when I was in high school and thankfully he had enough of decency then to refer to me as like a little sister. Which I appreciate looking back.

But also as soon as I was “available” he started to turn every interaction into a possibility of having sex with me, whereas I had learned at this point that I was his sister - and it really grossed me out and eventually had to block him.

So maybe just a side note of: please be wary that older men/women might follow the rules when they have to, but if they know you have/had a crush on them, they may use that in the future to their advantage.

Sometimes predators will make u believe you are just friends until they won’t get in trouble for asking for sex. Check up on your friendships routinely. Everything is vastly different when you become an adult.
