Dirty drawing is best drawing

I've been following this artist (urajirogashi on twitter) for a while and I wanted to try that artstyle.

I’m not one that usually jumps to trends (even if terribly late), but I admit that I loved Bowsette’s design so I wanted to give it a try.

Hey, I'm back. I'll try to post a bit more frequently from now on. Anyway, here's Maki Harukawa.

Y’know, I’d never expected to see Gorillaz live. Not too long ago, important bands just never came down to Uruguay, but something changed and lots of great artists starting visiting: Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Public Image Ltd, Iggy Pop and next week, our lovely animated band.

Made a quick sketch of one of my favorite singers: Damo Suzuki. Quite the weird one this guy is.

As a bonus, I made a gif showing the progress from sketch to finished.

Y’know, it kinda sucks that everybody remembers good ol’ John Lydon for being in the Sex Pistols (a band he didn’t even liked that much anyway) instead of his life project that is Public Image Ltd (which is a far better band if you ask me)

(Except for those who prefer Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, L7 and of course, Mudhoney. We love you Mark.)

Also, photoshop decided to fuck colors up. There’s supposed to be two shades of red on their clothing, but for some reason ended being all the shadow color (which was the uglier color btw)

I always loved dynamism and forced perspectives.
