Can we take a moment to appreciate Ford’s excellent twist out hairstyle?

Here is a woman that is busy managing her business, the theatre department’s business and soon to be SMH’s shenanigans and somewhere is all that, she finds the time to twist her hair into a protective style and then rock her natural curls.

Like… yeah, things got ugly and I don’t agree with everything that went down that day and since (although I’ve been distancing myself from tumblr so full disclosure I don’t know much of what’s happened the past couple weeks) – the fact still remains that this could have been stopped long ago with a simple “sorry, I didn’t think about it that way.” The issue only escalated because they refused to drop the issue herself. Bringing it up in the live stream chat to try to get sympathy from creator of the original work is what set myself and everyone else off about this.

So, do I agree with everything that happened? No. Am I okay with the overall outcome? Yeah.

Hey guys! I’ll be tabling at ECCC in just a few weeks. I’ll have books, posters, and other merch. (P.S. Kickstarter backers, definitely bring your books–I’d love to sign them!)

Alrighty, so it took a bit of time but the prompts are finally prepared and ready. Hals and I decided to go with something of an overarching theme. We’ve done Nursey’s life at different ages, but there are also poems we’ve connected to each stage of life that people can draw inspiration from;
