i feel like the sentiment of this famous comic is a sentiment i used to assume was common & valid, which is "spaces are supposed to be for specific types of people and not other types of people"

but the more i talk to ppl on tumblr, the more it seems like i was WRONG to agree with that sentiment, and the true sentiment that i shuldve followed is "if ppl want to get into a space and u have no evidence they are personally an abuser, u should pretty much always let them into that space"

so...... specific gender exclusive spaces are bad, specific religion exclusive spaces are bad, specific disability exclusive spaces are bad, etc.

im sure many of u are saying "patty ur being too black & white about this"

pls explain how the middleground works!!!!!!!!! in detail!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to kno.

if exclusion is determined on a case-by-case basis........ what are the things that determine whether u let someone in? why does one space get to be exclusive to one group but not another?

and........ if tumblr is just...... wrong...... and the webcomic was right all along...... pls tell me!!!!!!!

so i went to the pub today with my disability support roommate ian and i had a big pretzal, a slice of cheesecake, & a glass of chocolate milk.

the big guy at the end of the bar paid for all of it without asking me!!! (im a big lady too lol).

he was out smoking when i left so i thanked him. he said he has trouble making new friends. he told me his first name. i told him mine. his friends said hi too.

ive been playing street fighter since the wii virtual console and ps3 and nintendo 3ds but i typically dont do very good at online grinding. i was super silver in street fighter v however... but i think thats just becuz i really vibe with sfv zangief lol. sf6 zangief dosnt speak to me as much.

i think Grand Theft Auto 6 will hav such incredible presentation & hav such an addictiv gameplay loop, itll feel DIFFERENT from other videogames & make ppl who finish it (ppl who get the platinum trophy & do all the side missions & everything until they get bored of it) crave more games to play that scratch the gta6 itch, but therell be nothing out there like it (nothing with that much money & effort & focus testing) so theyll get depressed, and social media will call it "gtapression"
