Every spring on Tumblr, many users make reference to “It’s Gonna Be Me” by NSYNC. When Justin Timberlake sings, “It’s gonna be me,” he pronounces “me” so that it sounds like “may.” People think it’s funny to pretend Justin is saying that “it’s gonna be May.”

NSYNC was very fashionable in the year 2000. Justin had bleached hair that he heavily gelled into tight curls. Many have compared its appearance to uncooked ramen. I’ll put a picture here.
