I despise being drunk
I can’t stop crying.. and I know it’s for such a dumb reason but I can’t stop crying.

It hurts when you post your friends and show you are having fun. But you never want to show me off. You never post me or the fun dates we have whenever we were together. You claim you’re never on your phone while with your friends but every time we go out you’re on your phone. Am I really that boring. Am I really that god awful and embarrassing you don’t want to show me off.
I know a private relationship is a healthy relationship but you never want to show me off on Instagram or Snapchat. You never really seem proud to show me off. Not anymore like you used to.
And I’m sick and tired of it…
I wish things were different but I’m scared they’re not.
I often judged someone because they were okay with being a second choice. I always thought of her as pathetic. But that was until I met him. I understand her hurt. I still despise this girl but I understand her so much better now.
I understand not understanding why he continuously chose her over me when I still stayed. I stayed after he walked out of the apartment. I stayed after humiliation and humiliation of him always choosing her and not getting rid of her when her presence made me uncomfortable.
I stayed after he told me to leave. I stayed when he was on tinder looking at other people while we tried working things out. I stayed when he made plans to hang out with her while I lived under his roof.
I stayed through a lot. And I was okay with being a second choice for the longest time because it would hurt not having him. I settled to only have a piece with him while he chased after a girl who treated him like dirt and played with his emotions when she was bored.
I understand you now. I understand that when you’re in love with someone you put up with so much humiliation and hurt .

i hate when someone tells me that the relationship is messed up. Because it’s not. We messed up. Both of us and hurt each other a lot but you’re my everything. You were there for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Nobody really knows our relationship. They don’t know how you helped me through my addictions. They don’t know how you helped overcome my fear of tickling. They don’t know how you helped me with my eating disorders. They don’t know how you gave me a home and rides to work when I didn’t have a penny to my name. They don’t know how we take care of each other. They don’t know that we’re okay to vent about our frustrations about each other but the minute someone says something bad about the other we draw the line. He will always be my person. Yes I went to dark places during the relationship but the person to pull me out was him. He could have ran. He should have ran. It’s not his responsibility to take care of me. But he did. And that’s one thing that no one ever truly sees. Yes he hurt me. I hurt him. The relationship was messed up. But we worked on ourselves with each other. He’s my person. He has helped me. People don’t know anything.
