, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,

and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. The wording is so. I mean, someone who has never experienced physical violence would hardly react so calmly and ready to take a punch. Jean would never hit Jeremy, but someone clearly did.

Yeah I know Jeremy is a guy who plays contact sport, but this is different. To be injured in a scrimmage, to be slammed into the wall on court and to be physically assaulted outside the game are not the same thing.

They understand the intensity that comes with living and breathing Exy. That kind of shared experience creates something that’s nearly impossible to replicate with someone outside that world. And that’s why it’s hard for me to picture Kevin with anyone else—he’s so driven, so focused, that imagining him prioritizing a relationship over Exy (or even alongside it) feels off. It’s NOT that I think Kevin can’t love or be loved—it’s just that when he does, it would be with someone who truly gets that obsession and doesn’t get annoyed by it or expects/wants him to tone it down.

She makes sense in a way others don’t.

Of course I have compassion for her. Most of the hate I get form the fandom stems from the fact that I consider Thea a victim too. I don't see her as the monstrous Jezebel that corrupted Kevin the way most of the fandom sees her.

She knew of the abuse. Like all Ravens knew of the abuse.

The current Ravens all blame Jean for it, call him a whore and a traitor and think he deserves what he got.

Now, Thea is not as bad as the current Ravens.

She only had to deal with Riko for a year iirc? Like all the Ravens that graduated before Riko or early on in his rule, her abuse came from the Master's "discipline". Riko never had any reason to harm an asset like her. Thea's failings were for the Master and his cane to deal with. If Riko was feeling particularly sadistic at any point, he had Jean to take it out on during that year of overlap with Thea.

As a result Thea is not as bad, as bitter, as sadistic as the current Ravens. But that doesn't mean she's good.

She's a victim too, but that doesn't mean we should justify what she says and does, because what she says and does directly harms others.
