I had been thinking about this for months now.
the urge to create and immerse myself in a private, yet partially candid, yet partially distanced, meticulously curated, yet witness-able space grew and grew until I was left with no other option but to honor it. even with diminished bandwidth for creating due to being an adult—more specifically—the demand from work, commuting, errands, obligations both social and relational, and health, summarized more concisely as "the bustle"—could not keep a lid on it. she (this nagging desire to create) is an angry, wailing, red-faced spitfire child who cannot be contained, and demands attention and a space of her own despite how I'd much rather take a nap, or get to bed on time - like how I should be doing so now.
so then. one image post deep from an archive over a decade old, now deleted, gone for good, and one 11:23PM rambling thought later, I would like to formally, officially (re)introduce myself to this space—please, no toast necessary, thank you.
in truth, in my mind's backburner, I wonder how long this will last, if I will ever even visit here again, or perhaps I just needed to scratch an itch and drone on for a while in a blank space. for now, no name, no alias, no commitment, just here, at least for now—maybe gone tomorrow.
