My hand is now healed and I am warm! We’re currently having a severe winter storm that is supposed to last until Wednesday where I live so we’re sort of hoping the power won’t go out but it is very likely to happen within the next week.

So you have until the end of the week to start filling up my ask box with anything you like! I’ve only just started drawing again after it being healed and I also completed KH Dream Drop Distance! (which postponed my return to drawing oops) 

(I apologize for the lack of posts but my hand is currently injured! well both hands but the right is worse! Also my back but that doesn’t really affect drawing.

It’s insanely cold in my house and my room has really crappy isolation so it’s basically the same temperature inside as it is outside. Our furnace is broken so we have no heat in the house and while the rest of the house has heaters my room can’t because that much power will murder the fuse for my room. We have a really really old electrical system that runs on a series of fuses and well my room was an added on 25 years ago they didn’t really do the best job at hooking it up. Also there’s an outlet in my room that has a switch to all the outside power that is actually causing the fuse to short instantly so that’s also great. It also fried a heater so well that’s not great. 

We don’t have money to fix the problem because it would be pretty expensive. The fuses also blow/burn out every other day. We’re spending stupid amounts of money on fuses. The big ones are $15 and I’m not sure how much the little ones are but I know they come in packs?? And we can only use certain kinds in the packs? idk I overhear them yelling about the damn fuses all the time because the box is right next to my room. We can’t afford to fix the electrical uh wiring?? fuse box? whatever the hell it is. We also don’t have the money to buy a new heater and besides my grandpa tried to put my old broken heater on an extension cord and almost set it on fire. Even after 4 of us telling him it was a bad idea.

So here’s to how my hands got injured: 

You see when it’s cold your muscles tend to seize up and when you move them it forces the muscle to work when they can’t, causing swelling and stiffness. This happened to me last winter as well, but it was actually winter then. It’s not even winter and it actually hit 8F last night. Which is insane for this time of year. It’s already snowed quite a lot and stuck which is also strange because it doesn’t usually snow until the end of December and doesn’t usually stick until January.

I also unfortunately cut my right pinky finger trying to open the door with bags in my hands after going to the store a few days ago so I couldn’t lean it on the tablet anyway.

I can still make duct tape flowers because I can do that with my left hand mostly. Even though I am ambidextrous, I can’t draw with both hands (well not really as well if you understand me. I can draw some high class squiggles if that’s what you guys really want)

so unless you want flowERS as responses there’s not much I can do with this blog until winter is over. Or until I get some proper heat.

I guess I could do cosplay responses if people want to see my face? It’d be all red from the cold but it’s still SOMETHING I could do rather than text/gifs or just going on hiatus.
