I'm working in a historical-funny-dramatic webcomic of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. Do you want it to be translated into english?

What do you think about your old cloister being an university nowadays?
There’s a name for such things: IRONY!
I was wondering why nobody in my country complained about the lack of women in currency, and then I remembered
WE DO HAVE WOMEN IN OUR CURRENCY
Sor Juana is a ladies lady... #TextsFromSanJeronimo

Actually a couple things are not portrayed the way they have... I mean, we don't know too much about SJI's life.We know that yes, she got protection from the vicereine Maria Luisa and her best period of writing was circa 1680-1690. She was like a rockstar... I mean, she was wide-known because of her carols she made for Oaxaca, Mx and Puebla cathedrals and most of the writing work that was needed, was obviously for herself. Some things from the series are not accurate. Or not as history says. -When the viceroy arrives to Mexico, the "Arco Triunfal" called "Neptuno Alegórico", it is said that the last viceroy actually wanted Sor Juana to write it and he convinced her to do such thing... I mean, she was like: "Should I do it? Mmmm, maybe not? Should I? Yes, what the hell". And she was paid good money for that.
The topic of hallucination maybe comes from a few novels (there is a mexican novel called "Death of Artemio Cruz" where the last twelve hours of his life, he's making a rewind on his head). It is a dramatic use only. And yes, she died from a terrible illness and probably she suffered. I think one of the things the series is considered LGBTQ representation is because, I need to say that, is one of the few mexican TV shows that portrayed a queer person without being sexualized or done as cliché or just for mere male pleasure (which happens often). I mean, yes; some things didn't happen, some did... some things changed, but most of that was because of budget. And well, who says some of the best historical dramas we have seen are ACCURATE a 100%? I think the series did what the creator wanted first: make people read Sor Juana. And she did. It is easier to find more books of her at the shelf of "old books" after the series happened. At least that's what I can say from my experience.
