You really should be kicking yourself in the butt right now. Maybe if you had accepted that map earlier, you’d already be in Ballonlea. But nooo, you “knew the way” and now you were stuck ass backwards deep in a creepy forest where ghost and dark types thrive. As you push your way through the thicket, you see a strange looking Pokemon. Is that a… misdreavus? Strange, you didn’t think that they were native here.

It seems to be talking to itself. You can’t make out exactly what it says, but you know that it’s speaking a human language? You can make out a few words, such as “My…name…Missy”. So you suppose that’s their name!

She doesn’t seem to quite notice you yet…

The young Arcanine pranced up to the Ampharos, seeming in awe of the others Mega Evolved state, "Woah miss!" Freya wagged her tail excitedly, "You must be mighty strong, I've never seen a Pokemon who's always Mega Evolved! How did you do that?!"

"Oh my, hello, dears..." Stella is surprised to see two Arcanines near her and asking the exact same question. "Well..."

“It happened a year after the tragedy. After I’ve completed the request for the client, my hands started to glow. That means I was evolving...”

“…but when I saw myself in the mirror, it seems that…the Mega Stone is gone from the pedant necklace…It seems, it was evaporated into my body upon evolution.”

“So, that's the story. At least, the phenomenon is controllable, so no need to worry.”

A Honorable Shaman

Freya bounced excitedly up to the Dragonite, "Hello! You look very strong! I bet you can fly very fast with those wings of yours!" She flashed a wide smile, then tilted her head to the side, with a questioning look,

"I was curious, I've heard of this Protectors Guild around here, do you know anything about them? What do they do? They sound pretty cool!"

[Catherine calms down a little and smiles upon seeing the Arcanine's positive energy.]

[Catherine] "The Protectors Guild is pretty cool. They go out and help any Pokémon they can, from rescuing Pokémon from mystery dungeons, or helping guide Pokémon through dangerous places, or even taking down outlaws threatening our safety."

[Catherine then looks through her bag before taking out a high ranking shield-shaped badge and showing it off.]

[Catherine] "I'm a member of the guild, myself."

[She puts her other hand behind her head and begins rubbing the back of her neck.]

[Catherine, nervous] "It's a lot of difficult work, especially for a Pokémon like myself."

[Her eyes veer down towards the sand for a second and her voice softens as she speaks, but she catches herself and looks back at the Arcanine with a bit more confidence.]

[Catherine, nervous] "But, you can trust me in keeping everyone safe and sound."
