"I would say 'knock yourself out', but you're already gonna do that." He snickered at his own joke, bringing out a Sitrus berry to chew on. Then his expression turned curious. The tip of his tail lightly wiggled.

"But, you do have me curious. You DID try to attack me, so. How strong are you, really? Do you think you can handle it?"

He bit into the berry again, squinting at Destino as his tail briefly wagged with agitation.

His bothersome, cocky smile returned.

Lief: "Unless you seriously think you're so strong that you don't NEED to tell me. Then by all means. Impress me, Oh Mighty Prime Of The Underdark."

Once more he enunciated Destino's title as if he really, seriously did not respect it.

"Hey. You're clean, right? And I don't mean just you; I'm talking about your folks. Are they meat-eaters? Mareep-eaters, even?"

N-n-n-n-n-n-n-NOOOO! THAT THING! HE CLAIMS THAT YOU'RE EATIN' US... 😫

W-WHATT?? THIS IS SO DAMN UNACCEPTABLE... Well well, I'm gonna teach that bastard a lesson... 🤬

Do you think I'm only eatin' 'Reeps? Yea, YEA? Not only I do only eat them, but also I eat others too... Wanna be my next prey? Yum... 😋

Quite enthusiastically, Hazel approached the grass snail while wagging her large tail. "You're dating someone? And you're getting married?? That's awesome! I'm really happy for ya! Gods, I bet the food especially would be amazing."

She licked her lips at the thought, briefly seeming distracted. She quickly shook it off. "Anyway, what else have I missed? Whatcha been up to?"

Wo: "Hmhmhm~ Of course I remember you! I make sure not to forget the friendly faces that visit me~"

His cheeks started going pink.

Wo: "Yes, yes I am~ He goes by Oki, and we have known each other for a long while now~ I'm also making sure not to forget his proposal and how emotional I got afterwards~"

He nodded as he worked to get his pink cheeks to die down.

Wo: "We are hoping to have some good foods for our wedding~ It is being held in Kitakami as part of a wedding festival, so I'm half-expecting there to be a good selection of edibles~" (He then put a vine to where his chin would be in thought) "About what we have been up to.. ..well, we have just come back from a friend's festival~ It was quite fun too~ Our own aside, we are hoping that we get to go to others like it in the future~"

He looked at Hazel, tilting his head a little.

The 'eon seemingly floated, shifting side to side, observing who just appeared at them as they gasped suddenly before starting to speak loudly, their wings flapping and the paper they just held disappearing into thin air

They seemingly spoke unknown language but out of excitement, quickly assumed answer to whatever question just was posed to them

They had pulled out 3 crystals, urging almost you to pick one of them as they waited, their tails wagging quickly, making almost loud thump, thump, thump sounds in the empty space

Osha: Okay, I'm sorry, you don't need to push me!

As the stranger approach the young supposed detective, his heart skipped as he quickly folded the newspaper and flipped his notepad closed, pushing them to the edge of the table as if they'd suddenly become classified documents.

" O-Oh, hello? N-Nice knowing that..? How are we similar other than being a Lucario... "

His gaze sharp and wary as he tried to assess whether this was mere coincidence—or something far more deliberate. Regardless, he shakes his head and gave the Glaceon a wary smile.

" S-Sorry about that... The name's Kaizen Fletcher, but you can call me Kaz. Thank you about your comment, I'm just another average citizen that likes dress up.... You're full of energy when meeting a stranger... "

It's my girl!

Despite this, he seemed to keep his distance. His antennae twitched every now and then. Whatever he picked up from this version of Crow tipped him off to stay away, but not enough to shut him up.

”You haven’t changed a bit, just as stupid as before,” Crow sneered down at the hybrid, “if I’m really not as scary as you say why don’t you come closer? Perhaps I could change your mind buggy.”

She paused a moment, trying to stomach how awkward this really was. She felt it wasn't her place to ask such a thing. Yet here she was, asking such a thing.

"I-it sounded pretty bad. And I wanted to make sure you were ok."

He leaned against the wall in his corner of the room, eyeing Destino with a semi-serious face, for a moment. Then he smiled, as if wanting to rub in what he said next.

"It's been nagging me how much you say you hate fairies, yet you've openly talked to us. Even me, of all Pokemon. So what's the big deal, huh? Are you all talk? Is the almighty 'Prime of the Underdark' really the Fairy-hater I heard so much about?"

*Destino casually approached Lief, a small smirk showing on their face. Felix turned to watch from the bed upon which he rested.*

Destino: Listen, fairy, I can hate someone and still be somewhat open to conversation. Easier to find out information about all of you so I can use it for my own gain. Ultimately, I'm here to save the world and fulfil my end of the bargain with Mirage, and I can only do that by gaining as much insight from you as I can. If I had it my way...

*The smug smile faded, disposition replaced with something more serious.*

*Destino returned to their usual attitude. It seems they didn't quite notice what had happened. Felix, however, did. Blinking a few times to check if his best friend was ok, he shook his head. He must just be tired.*

Lief's hairs continued to stand on end, most noticeably on his tail. Speaking of his tail, it had been gently swishing before. Now it was stiff in an arch and somewhat raised from the floor.

It was still hard to breathe steady. He may have also been trembling a wee bit, and momentarily glancing at the door to gauge distance.

Lief: "Wh-why do you keep doing that? That's twice with you. Do you hate me that much?"

Yet he stood his ground.

Lief: "B-b-between you and me, I struggle to believe it. That you'd do it. Then again, I like living. On the off-chance you're serious..."

He trailed off. He winced and shuddered, continuing after a moment of pause with a far shakier voice.

Lief: "On... o-on the off-chance that you're serious. I dare you to try anything."

Lief: "I will fight if I have to... you got that?"

"A fight? Against me? If you're certain. Just know I'm not someone to hold back when the opportunity arises. It's ok. At least you'll be able to brag to everyone about how you was defeated by my magnificence. It's not often that I accept challenges."

Destino's horn began to glow a faint purple, readying a night slash. This was going to be too easy.

Before they were about the lunge forward to strike at the fairy, Felix stepped in between the two of them, arms outstretched to stop whatever motion his best friend was about to take. He looked towards Destino who pouted at the sudden interruption. Felix shook his head, making it very clear he wasn't going to let a fight happen here. Destino gave what they thought would be their most convincing look (the wide eyes and pouty face usually got to him) but Felix stood his ground.

"Des, perhaps save the fightin' 'til later. I've just gotta talk ta this fairy for a sec."

Before Destino could protest, Felix turned to Lief and quickly pulled him to one side. What this fairy had said concerned him. Twice? When did that happen? He had to get to the bottom of this.

Felix spoke in hushed tones. He didn't want to draw Destino's attention too much. Destino didn't seem interesting in engaging with the conversation but they kept an eye on the both of them.

Lief: "First of all. Space, please? You don't always go up to folks touching them, do you?"

Lief: "Well, whatever. You heard right. I've had many run-ins with that sad sack, and in two of them, they threatened my life."

Lief: "Though the first time I can at least somewhat understand. I did kinda push them around and all after yelling in their face. In front of a crowd..."

Lief mumbled to himself for some moments, cringing with embarrassment now that he brought that up. The incident that followed, him confessing his crush in front of the others... never again.

He shook it off, or tried to.

Nico walked a long listening to Lief as he chuckled to himself quietly whispering "Seems like you have had bad interaction's with meat or meat-eaters" he lightly noted to himself before perking up seeing him catch up to them as he smiled lightly

"Oh yea-yea! You can actually just see a vendor who sells only pastries which most likely will contain the bread, the street is filled with different 'mon who will appreciate a small coin, you know?" Nico stated before pointing towards monarchs his own wings fluttering when small breeze passed by before again settling back against himself comfortably

"We just have one old vendor who we keep going to because he is comfortable with her and trusts her the most" he softly said looking upon Monarch who just was avoiding their gazes and their conversation trying not to be included

Thus far, he seemed content enough in Nico's company. Perhaps it was only natural, given he was a fellow Bug-type.

He briefly glanced ahead to Monarch, his eyes glinting with curiosity. He looked back to Nico after some moments of staring.

She softly smiled at Vivianne in some attempt to give assurance. This despite suspecting deep down that her gigantic size would sooner frighten the human regardless.

Seeing the massive Twileon, she stumbled back a little

Vivianne: Why is everything in this place so massive... But, maybe?

Having been listening in like the nosy Simbobeon he was, he would perk up and approach the two 'mons.

"Me personally, I was gifted these really neat candies. They're very chewy and according to the fella that gave me them, they taste like your favorite flavor. I really like them. Shame I'm not gonna share any."

It wouldn't be a Lief encounter if he didn't find some way to be annoying, it seems.

The two had finally reached the street Nico just chatting away about everything and anything while Monarch silently trailed along

"He had a bad evening yesterday and still is annoyed pretty much, dont want to get choked now do you?" Nico innocently added as they walked having Lief tag along as the beedrill happily continued to talk on

"Theres sweets, roasted fruit, bread! Some are even made in theme of some pokemon which are so cute! Like Torkoal bread filled with spicy Jam or Berry jam if spicy isnt up to your taste! Or mochi in shape of a sewaddle head! They even have a little edible leaf on it and little paper resembling silk! Its so sweet because of the pinapple and apple fillings!"

"IF something theres also meat related stuff! Like chatot meatballs and meat sticks but they all are artificial... " he paused awkwardly

Lief: "Ugh. Definitely not. I am the furthest from a meat-eater you will ever get."

He paused to pop a candy into his mouth. He smiled, savoring the taste before he continued.

Lief: "I was on board and all up until you mentioned it... certain Pokemon, am I right?"

Another pause, to flick another candy in his mouth.

Lief: "So chewy...~ But like, the bread and stuff? That does sound delicious. Maybe I'll grab one while I'm hanging out here. Why not."

He attempted another trick shot, but it missed. The candy bounced against his forehead.

Lief pouted a little at this. He'd stash away the pouch in his tail, fluttering a little fast to catch back up with the two.

"Mostly I study. Specially psychology. I want my brother to Improve and I admit... That keeping him there while I try to look for ways to make him better as a individual does take a lot of my time. But not all of it. And I won't deny that imprisoning him there had potential to make things worse... but I had little choice, like I have said previously. Anyway besides things related to Knave... I talk to friends and I keep an eye on my one other family member that I talk to often."
