i stuck em to the ally wall with a web without thinking, like it was instinctive somehow, then we stared at each other for a good moment before i snapped out of it and pretended it wasnt me.

it was pretty dark so i think i had a pretty good chance of fooling him, i even got some spiders next to the guy to web him up more while i was in plain sight for extra convincing as i bolted

i did call the police right after anonymously, god i really hope they think its spider-man or something not me.

I literally just spend at least four hours a night swinging around the city listening for anybody screaming.

It took a moment for Pax to realize what had just happened but as the red, hazy tunnel vision began to clear up, she realized in horror she had bitten down on Frankie’s forearm.

Blood trickled from the wound as she quickly released her jaw’s grip on her arm. The remaining taste of iron on her lips made her salivate, though she backed away from them, covering her mouth with her dark, scaly hands.

After a moment they noticed Pax's reaction was less than calm. "Hey, don't even worry about it. We've all had our free will compromised. Tell you what, we'll make it fair."

With a playful grin Frankie grabbed the woman's arm and latched on with their own jaw. They bare down just hard enough for their pointed canines to break the skin before letting go.

“..Wait, what—“

As Frankie latched onto Pax’s arm, her eyes widened, not exactly anticipating to get bit herself. She didn’t really react much to the pain as much she did to the act itself.

I beat Doc Ock and... it sucked.

The arms are permanently fused to his spine, or at least close enough to it that trying to remove them is too big of a risk.

The neural blocking chip is definitely fried. There's no chance for bringing it back online, so I've started designing a replacement. This one will have a huge safety margin for power surges. This is where the problems start...

Designing a new chip is easy, but I can't force him into letting me replace it. I know that if he was in his right mind, he'd agree to it, but Doc Ock as he is now is still a person.

I can't just, act without his consent like that. It's a violation of his very identity. I have to convince him, somehow, that this is the right thing to do.

He's in prison at the moment. I'm hoping that I can get through to him as his friend Frankie Stevens, because he's never going to listen to Arachnikid.

Octavius believed in me. He chose me to be his intern over every other applicant. He respected me, and valued my input. Maybe that was a mistake, looking back, but that’s not him anymore.

The man in that prison cell looked at me with disgust, like I wasn’t worth the dirt it would take to bury me. 

I’m used to that in the mask. When I’m Arachnikid that stuff just rolls off my back, but this is different. Octavius was like a third father figure to me, and seeing him look at me like that? It hurts...
