gods most devoted soldier

hello!! my name is honey (she/they) and this is my sideblog where i infodump about my own dnd characters and campaign. feel free to stick around or ask me about my characters! ----------- CHARACTER: ASINUS

asinus is a tiefling warlock who grew up obsessed with tales of the gods of his city, nox machina.

he grew more and more interested with the god of control, ananke, after being told repeatedly as a child that he just wasn't living up to his potential; that he was a good kid, but he could be better.

he had and still has extremely supportive parents, that allow him to take whatever path he sees fit.

however, they didn't recognize that path would be one spending days devoted to ananke, desperate to one day get her attention in hopes that he could live up to his potential.

it took years before he got the attention of ananke, years of wasted high-school parties and extracurriculars, and made a pact with her.

part of the pact involved a test of loyalty, wherein he was instructed to cut off his tiefling horns, and bring them to ananke, who would exchange them for a unicorn horn instead. he succeeded.

part of the pact also consisted of the inability to be put to sleep by any means necessary, avoiding exhaustion at all times. as a teenager with ADHD, getting to have more hours in the day felt revolutionary. however, others around him grew pity on him, for he could never dream, and he was forever left alone with his thoughts at night.

CAMPAIGN: DECAELUM

decaelum is a dnd campaign ive been writing for my roommates that focuses on the impact that the death of god has on a religiously-built city.

the party's goal is to find out who or what killed god after a brutal and bloody death. they have been provided with a list of suspects, and as they continue to uncover more and more pieces to the puzzle, the campaign gets deeper and darker.
