I got a live action Maui doll with the intent to use his body for a project, but I didn’t expect to use it this soon! So I cracked open the torso and harvested his limbs for Luisa. I used similar methods to how i set the limbs in place for my articulated Bruno doll and some experimenting on attaching the legs. I gave her wrist articulation as well using some knee joints from a different doll I disassembled for another project. Once I had sanded everything smooth, I sprayed her with my plastic primer, painted her skintone, did some color correction with pastels, then sprayed everything with Mr. Superclear UV cut matte.

I also took the time to finish my custom Mirabel I made with a shorted and modified ILY 4 ever body and put her in a the Disney singing Mirabel dress that I modified slightly (adding details and sizing it down). So now all the cool family sisters are articulated! Maybe I’ll take nice photos of them at some point!
