Luthien challenges the enemy on Tol-in-Gaurhoth.

Outfit 2: A fairly simple dress compared to ones she wears later in the series. It’s a pretty blue colour with bell sleeves and the collar is fabric tied in knots and embroidered.

Outfit 3: Her hair and outfits start mimicking those of Cersai and her kingdoms. It’s a long wrap dress with ties, in pale pink/salmon. It has a gold belt that is worn with other outfits in later episodes. Like the previous dress it has bell sleeves but larger ones. She wears a dragonfly necklace.

Patterns: 1, 2, 3 (belt), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

Outfit 4: Appears to be an overdress in greyish purple with darker purple embellishments, over a paler purple dress. The same belt is worn. Hair is worn looser I think it’s the Tyrell style. I think any of the above patterns might work, so long as you make it look like an over dress.

Outfit 5: Pretty similar to the one above but not belt this time, instead two winged brooches. More violet though it can appear blue, the designs are much paler, I can not make out what her necklace is. A butterfly I think. Hair is probably same as above.

Outfit 6: Her Purple Wedding dress. Fairly simply in design, is covered in raised wavy lines. Another updo is worn with this, with the addition of two braids and one across her shoulder. A gold little hair ornament is worn on her right side with a little chain extending into the hair behind it. She wears a necklace with blue diamonds. (not actual diamonds but that’s their shape) each is attached with a triangular finding in bronze. The brooches are worn again.

Wedding Dress: Very elaborate and ornate in bronze and gold. The top has fabric criss crossing her chest which are heavily embroidered and they cross behind her neck in a high collar. The other ends cross behind her back, growing wider. The sleeves are quite short and the bottom half seems to have a bit of a bustle skirt going on.

Outfit 7: Her latest outfit. Very Mockingjayish. The dress is black with the bodice, shoulders and collar covered in feathers or black and sheens of blue. Her necklace is a large black ring/buckle with long silver chain. You may even be able to make this yourself. Some belts have this sort of buckle. Search opshops/charity stores and retro/vintage clothing stores.

Other outfits: I couldn’t really decide whether or not to include these as most use the same patterns and tutorials as above. But I did anyway.

Mirrors Cersai’s dress and is similar to the design of the pink one. Very pale blue with a dark undergown. Belt worn with this as well. Can’t see the pendant. Probably a Lannister one. Hair in an updo. See above for patterns and tutorials.

The first is purple and pale gold scales on a dress similar to the Blackwater one. Same brooches are worn and a dark purple undergown is worn beneath. The second dress is hard to tell. It’s blue with gold designs. It’s very simple.  See above for patterns and tutorials

Similar to her blue one at the top, instead of knots we have grey and dark green roses and green leaf embroidery. The dragonfly necklace is worn again.  See above for patterns and tutorials.

This is the best I could do. It’s taken me forever it’s that hard to find patterns, tutorials and info on Sansa’s outfits. I do apologise. No fabric options this time either, too hard to find anything suitable. For embroidery help see previous refs of a GOT nature. 

I’ve been in the cosplay community for about three years now and while the idea of cosplaying and putting costumes together is great, you know what’s not so great?

The RIDICULOUS amount of bullying.

The fact that there are cosplay groups MADE for people to trash other cosplayers/photographers. The massive rape culture that takes place at conventions, including sexual harassment. The slut shaming within the community. The fact that victims have to suffer in silence because they’re worried that police won’t take it seriously.

I keep hearing horrific story after horrific story from people talking about what was done to them - shit that is criminal. And they put up with it because they don’t think anyone can help them or that anyone will care.

I have, myself, have had a few local girls do everything in their power to ruin my reputation in the community.  One girl for the past two years has been posting passive aggressive posts on her Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook, places where I, and my friends, can see it and has posted personal messages meant to hurt me, about how I’m a messed up person, trying to rally people into hating me for being ‘racist’, and has befriended everyone I know only to talk shit about me and try to ruin every friendship and any reputation I had locally. Her friend actually sent me a legit black-mailing threat that I considered bringing to the police. Another girl has spread lies about me not making my own costumes, how I bought my followers, and the only reason anyone likes me is because I manipulate them into being my friend. Luckily, these are all straight-up lies and no one has taken her seriously for a while

The fact that my story IS NOT UNIQUE IS FUCKED UP.

I’m shaking as I write this because I know the second I post it that I’ll get some form of retaliation from one of my bullies, whether it be another threat or more photographers getting messages about me being an ass or more rumors being spread. But I have too many friends who have resigned to being miserable, having horrible anxiety, and feeling powerless in their life because they feel like they can’t say anything.

It needs to stop. And I’m done staying quiet about it.

So what I want to say to both of my bullies:

ENOUGH. Stop checking my pages, stop keeping tabs on me, stop trying to isolate me, stop trying to figure out where I’m going to be and showing up there. Just walk away. I am NOT a threat to you. I just want to dress up as fictional characters in peace for fucks sake.

To people who are suffering from cosplay bullies:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND IT IS TIME TO SPEAK. These people do not stop until you stand up for yourself. Forget the “forgiveness” and “turn the other cheek” bullshit. Silence is giving your tacit approval of what’s happening to you, and it’s not going to stop until you say something. Keep records and screenshots of everything that has happened, and don’t just sit and wallow. There are people that support and love you but they will never know they you need their support and love until you say something.

It’s NOT “just cosplay.” This is real life.
