like a song he wrote, that's never heard

Steve looked way too good for your sanity as a pirate. Good as in you’d just agree to help him with anything he’d ask. Even with an odd finishing touch in his Halloween costume. 

He said he was looking for something red. The coincidence was that you were wearing bright red lipstick — not much of a coincidence since he was looking right to your mouth as he asked you for it.

“What do you plan to do with my lipstick, Steve?” You asked, extending your hand to give him the makeup.

“Well… It’s not the lipstick. I need your… lips?” He corrected, looking at you a bit unsure of his own words.

Kiss stains. That’s what he needed from you.

And that’s how you ended up having Steve Harrington pressed against a wall as you kissed his neck to leave the “aesthetic” kiss stains behind. Just to make him a respectful pirate, in his words.

Even if it was a little more fun than just that.

“I’ll put one more coat of that on.” You suggested spreading the red on your lips. “I think it’ll be more convincing.”

“Great idea!” He answered a little too quickly.

Ignoring that you proceeded to carefully reapply the lipstick and lean to leave the perfect stain right above the white collar of his shirt. You took a step back and admired your work.

“I believe I’ll need one more touch of it here.” He patted right beside his mouth.

Looking  in those pretty eyes all you could think was “screw it!”. You threw yourself at him, kissing Steve right away and forgetting about the amount of red lipstick you had on. He kissed you back just as if he was just waiting for that since the moment he asked for your help.

Well, you both knew he was waiting for it.

You stopped once you were gasping for air, a mischievous smile appearing in his face, half red because of the makeup.

“I think we’ll need a bit more here.” Steve winked, already leaning in for another kiss.

“Shut up, Harrington.”

You made him shut up anyway.
