This absolute Loser watched his nemesis die right in front of him, then spent the next three episodes moping and whining that life wasn’t worth living anymore because his nemesis was not there. It didn’t matter that he now had Cybertron in his grasp. The war could be ended immediately and he would WIN.

Doesn’t matter, throw it all in the trash. Optimus Prime was dead and he was the saddest, most broody, “I miss my wife” freak in the cosmos.

I've had these 8 living rent-free in my head for at least 2 years now. A couple of updated character notes since it's been a while:

Wisp is an Autobot spy captured and experimented on with Triple Changer tech. Eventually, she escapes, but still isn't used to all her new seeker mode's bells and whistles. She's crashed into many things. The new mode also upgrades her bike form and gives her a turbo booster, giving her kicks more power. Her audial cords are for plugging into mainframes and getting data on missions. Delivery girl before the war.

Due to Trine Soulmate shenanigans, Wisp now has 2 idiot Decepticons who keep trying to court her for Trine to go along with all the troubles of her new seeker frame. Having some mechs to talk to is actually good therapy for her compared to her usual method of bottling things up due to being a lone wolf spy, no matter how much her tsundere ass denies it.

Crossdrive is a Transmasc space cowboy and a menace. No one has any idea how he manages to sneak into to places he shouldn't be in. He's popped in on the Lost Light a couple of times, and it drives Magnus insane, especially cuz he leaves muddy prints and tire tracks everywhere. Now he stiffens in dread and horror whenever he hears the telltale sign of country music.

Gridiron has often been kidnapped and dragged to a paint detailer for a makeover by fashion-conscious (i.e. Sunstreaker, Knockout, etc) mechs who think his paint job hurts to look at. Viral has to go and save her assistant often.

Landfall has autism and is oblivious to her tiny admirer. It's honestly really cute to watch them. Her size is between Skyfire, Astrotrain, and Omega Supreme.

"i'm so basic.....i just like a lot of butter or jam :(" (as though those are not god's best and most beloved condiments and his greatest gifts to mankind)

"FUCK health guidelines FUCK my cholesterol and most importantly FUCK diet culture i'll put a dumpster full of butter on my toast and not even GOD will stop me" (no notes. god would encourage this)

doxxing one's self by mention of polarizing regional delicacies (i am so curious about vegemite i must admit)

Megatron attempts to sneak out of Optimus' room on the Ark after one of his and Optimus' "Peace Talk Attempts" only to run into various other Decepticons. This includes Starscream coming out of Skyfire's lab (Megatron was really unsurprised, but still angry that the little weasel had betrayed him again!), Soundwave (he was appalled at this one, Starscream he expected but Soundwave?!) coming from Jazz's room, Deadlock from Ratchet's (though Megatron was pretty sure Deadlock was off-planet last he checked), The Constructicons coming from Prowl's (Which Megatron did not wish to even think about), Skywarp coming from the Lambo Twins' room (not surprising, the purple seeker got around), and Thundercracker from Bumblebee's (they weren't even doing anything, he swears!) No one believes him, even though he was literally the only one telling the truth and not trying to make excuses.

Was everyone in his High Command betraying him today?! Scene then cuts to Cybertron as Shockwave is *ahem* performing an experiment on Blurr regarding how fast and how long he can endure.

What follows is a very awkward conversation between High Command and the Constructicons, with everyone agreeing to work together so they can sneak out of the Ark without alerting Red Alert and the rest of the Autobots, and Megatron is being a hypocrite the entire time. When they get back to the Nemesis, they all agree to never speak of this night again to save face. Megatron ends up having a realization he really doesn't want to have, and by the next morning, Megatron surprises everyone by extending a truce to the Autobots. Well, everyone except High Command. They knew why, and their leader was a giant hypocrite,
