Here’s my artdump of five of the neopets (Helena Baek a.k.a Helena White, Baelia Thorne, Kalinawa, Apple Whetherby, and Anastasia Baek) I owned drawn as humans.

Here’s a new fancomic I made where Jak and Keira catch my OC, Jakleen, smooching Phoenix! Since Jak already has a rivalry with the captain of the sky pirates, it makes perfect sense that he'd disapprove of his twin sister dating him. Cue the sibling arguments, leaving Keira to play peacemaker. Meanwhile, Damas is getting a massive headache from their latest bickering, and Erol and Razer are left totally dejected (I love messing with those two) because Jakleen chose someone else over them.

May 4 is Star Wars Day so I hope I’m not too late for this one. Here’s my own redraw of the 1977 promotional photograph of actors Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher in their iconic roles as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia from the original Star Wars trilogy. Jak and my oc, Jakleen are the ones taking up the pose and the gunstaff from The Lost Frontier is used here because the morph gun is too heavy.

Since May is Mermay, I wanted to share what I’ve been working on. I wrote a Jak and Daxter fanfic called The Deep Discord, a mermaid AU that combines elements from The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3, but reimagined in the North Atlantic Ocean. I turned the fanfic into a jukebox musical songfic, though I’m still figuring out who else sings besides my OC, Jakleen. I imagine her having a beautiful voice, so I gave her song-manipulation powers as well.

In my story, Jak and Jakleen grow up in the mangrove-filled Sandover Village alongside their friends Daxter and Keira Hagai, the adoptive daughter of their mentor, Samos. They live relatively simple lives—attending school, doing chores for Samos (like gathering eco from kelp and sea plants), and playing music together.

Everything changes when the four of them turn fifteen—the age when tritons (whose ears vary in both shape and length) are allowed to swim to the surface for the first time. Shortly after, Jakleen experiences a prophetic dream about events unfolding in Atlantis. Acting on this vision, Samos brings the group there—but they are immediately attacked by Baron Praxis’s militarized police force, the Krimzon Sharks, led by his right-hand or should I say, right-tentacle enforcer, Erol (a cecaelia).

They are rescued by Torn, Tess, Ashelin, and Vin, but during the encounter, Jak is injured by dark eco–infected coral, granting him the ability to transform into Dark Jak. Unbeknownst to the others, Jakleen is also affected—her exposure awakens psychic abilities, allowing her to launch psionic attacks and weaponize her voice, though it initially causes severe migraines. The dark eco also broke their silence too.

Later, Jakleen and Daxter discover a mysterious trunk containing a conch shell, old vinyl records, human stuff, and light eco pearls. The pearls grant both Jak and Jakleen the ability to channel light eco—awakening Jak’s Light Jak form and giving Jakleen enhanced psychic defense and healing abilities. This stabilizes Jak’s condition and cures Jakleen’s migraines.

As the story progresses, they meet new allies like Sig, Jinx, and Vin, build relationships, and navigate personal conflicts. Jakleen develops feelings for Phoenix while fending off unwanted attention from characters like Erol, Jinx, and Razer. I dunno which parts can I add here.

Eventually, the Krimzon Sharks launch a major attack, capturing Samos, Keira, Torn, Sig, and Ashelin. Jak is confronted and nearly defeated by Erol, while Jakleen, Daxter, Phoenix, and Tess narrowly escape. In desperation, Jakleen blows into the conch shell, unintentionally summoning an Atlantean mer-army riding orcas, led by Damas, the king of Atlantis himself. Together, they defeat Baron Praxis, Erol, and the Krimzon Sharks, rescuing their allies.

From there, Jak and Jakleen uncover the truth behind the conflict between Haven Reef and Atlantis—and a deeper revelation: they are fraternal twins, and Damas and Hera, the king and queen of Atlantis are their parents (Hera is also my OC).

Soon after, the Metal Heads emerge as monstrous sea creatures led by Metal Kor in a massive leviathan-like form, threatening both cities. During the chaos, Jakleen rescues two young merkids who resemble her and Jak, guiding them to safety with a lullaby.

In the final battle, the forces of Haven Reef and Atlantis unite. Jak ultimately defeats Metal Kor. In the aftermath, Jak, Jakleen, Daxter, Keira, Tess, Ashelin, and Torn officially form a band. At the same time, Jak and Jakleen reclaim their royal status as prince and princess of Atlantis, with Daxter being adopted into the royal family as a prince. The story also establishes its main couples: Jak × Keira, Jakleen × Phoenix, Daxter × Tess, and Torn × Ashelin.

For character design, I based their tails on different aquatic species. Jak and Jakleen have orca tails, a trait they share with Damas and Hera. Daxter’s tail is inspired by a clownfish, Keira’s by a purple queen anthias, Tess’s by a freshwater angelfish, Ashelin’s by a tiger shark, and Torn’s by a hammerhead shark. For other characters, Phoenix’s tail is based on a bottlenose dolphin, Baron Praxis’s on a great white shark, and Erol’s tentacles on a blue-ringed octopus. I also added supernatural skin tones and aquatic ear shapes to match their designs.

I also included ethnicity headcanons: Jak and his family are Afro-Hispanic (Mexican with Puerto Rican and Egyptian descent), which complements their features; Jakleen styles her curls and often teases Jak by braiding or tying up his hair. Daxter is Italian-American with Irish roots, Keira Hagai is South Korean, Ashelin Praxis is Argentinian-British, Torn is of Indigenous American and Caucasian descent, Tess has a Southern American “Southern belle” vibe, Ximon is fair-skinned (possibly Californian American), Taryn is Greek, Kleiver has an Australian accent, Jinx has a Brooklyn accent with Italian and Dutch descent, Phoenix is British-Caribbean (possibly Montserratian, Bermudan, Cuban, Dominican, Honduran, or Puerto Rican), Erol has Italian heritage, and Razer is French-Japanese.

Only Jak, Jakleen, Daxter, Keira, Tess, Torn, and Ashelin are shown using instruments, which can transform into weapons. Jak’s guitar transforms into a trident, Jakleen’s microphone becomes a scepter, Daxter’s drumsticks can summon his drum set and double as tonfas, Keira’s keyboard turns into a staff, Tess’s synth becomes a wand, Ashelin’s guitar transforms into a glaive, and Torn’s bass shapeshifts into a curved sword inspired by his knife. Other characters use traditional weapons like spears, polearms, and swords.

Since the merfolk in this AU possess superhuman traits—such as aquatic zoolingualism, underwater breathing, enhanced strength, and speed—they also have unique abilities. Jak and Jakleen can both channel eco energy, but in different ways. Jak uses eco to enhance his physical abilities and transform into Dark Jak (with a moray eel tail) and Light Jak (with a lionfish-inspired tail). Jakleen’s eco manifests through psionic abilities, amplifying her telekinesis, telepathy, precognition, and other psychic powers. Keira also retains eco-based abilities, though I’m still developing powers for Daxter, Tess, Torn, Ashelin, and the others.

Here’s my updated take on Helena White’s design, and honestly, this one took a lot more effort than I expected—but I’m really happy I pushed through. I experimented with a slightly different art style this time, refining her proportions, expressions, and overall silhouette to make her feel more dynamic and alive.

I also redraw one of Lute’s scene from Hazbin Hotel with Helena singing her version of Gravity against Vira (u know what happened in The Void Within), which helped me better understand how she moves and carries herself in action. On top of that, I tried incorporating magical effects—something I don’t usually do—like the elemental swirls around her weapon. It was a bit challenging figuring out how to layer and color them so they wouldn’t overpower the character, but I think it added a nice sense of energy and storytelling to the piece.

For her design itself, I explored both her casual and combat looks to show different sides of her personality. Her armor emphasizes strength and readiness, while her simpler outfit highlights a more relaxed, everyday version of her. I also played around with expressions and poses to give her more attitude—ranging from confident and composed to fierce and battle-ready.

It’s finally out! Here’s my first artwork for Mermay, tied to a mermaid AU I’ve been working on, starring a powerful girl group.

The group is composed of Rosetta a.k.a Rose (my trollsona & lead singer), Poppy (rhythm guitarist), Barb (lead guitarist), Carol (bassist), DJ Suki (DJ & keyboardist), Jussy (@jade-green-butterfly’s OC & keytarist), and Poppy’s twin, Viva (drummer). These mermaids hail from the submerged underwater kingdom of Mu, where seven pods rule the North Pacific Ocean. Each pod is governed by a king or queen:

Rose’s grandma, Queen Celestia serves as the High Queen of Mu, acting as its sovereign ruler so Rosetta is the Crown Princess of Mu, while Poppy and Barb are crown princesses of their respective pods.

From the North Pacific Ocean to Vinyl City, California, these girls—and their wide circle of merfriends (including Branch, the Snack Pack, and others)—have been chosen to carry on an ancient mission. For generations, their species—the tritons—alongside six other sworn protector races (the krakens, gillmen, finfolk, sea warriors, oceanids, and nereids), have defended both ocean and surface realms from threats such as dark magic users, Nerissa and her twisted mermaid-like muliceto, and the monstrous brineades (aka false sirens), whom the tritons despise for their cannibalistic ferality. Their sea creature friends included Oscar, Angie, Lenny, Ernie & Bernie from Shark Tale.

Together, the group—Dreamwave—lives a double life as both chart-topping idols and warrior mermaids under the tutelage of mentorship of Tatiana Quartz, the leader and CEO of No Straight Roads and a former guitarist of the Goolings (her band members died fighting against the forces of evil, leaving her the sole survivor).

When they’re not selling out stadiums or topping the Billboard charts, they moonlight as protectors, defending their fans from supernatural dangers lurking beneath the ocean’s depths. Their instruments, gifted to them on their hatchdays (birthdays), transform into magical weapons. Combined with their powers, musical mastery, and voices strong enough to purify or destroy evil, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Princess Rosetta (Aquaryn Pod), a veiltail betta mermaid, wields sonokinesis (sound manipulation) derived from her chromesthesia; her microphone transforms into a wand.

Princess Poppy (Oceania Pod), a strawberry peacock cichlid mermaid, possesses underwater chlorokinesis (manipulation of aquatic plant life); her cowbell and stick becomes a scepter-like wand.

Princess Barb (Nanaue Pod), a great white shark mermaid (and proudly lesbian), uses opsíanokinesis (obsidian manipulation); her guitar becomes a double-bladed axe.

Carol, an orca mermaid, controls sand through psammokinesis; her bass transforms into a sword.

DJ Suki, a giant pacific octopus cecaelia (a subspecies of tritons but with octopus or squid lower halves), has melanokinesis—ink-based powers that vary by color—and her turntable discs become a pair of tessen fans.

Jussy, a butterfly koi mermaid and Cooper’s girlfriend, wields pearl-based magic; her keytar shapeshifts into an energy bow.

Viva, a strawberry peacock cichlid mermaid, uses starfish-based magic; her drum set and sticks combine into a war hammer.

Happy Easter!!! Here’s one of my Trolls × Gorillaz AUs I’ve been working on.

The AU is inspired by Angel’s Friends, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It is titled Luminary, a story centered on the contrast between the radiant light of angels and the consuming fire of demons. The narrative unfolds across three distinct worlds:

• Heaven: the celestial, utopian dimension of angels and the realm of God, where divine order, beauty, and serenity reign.

• Earth: the human world, an existential space of choices, morality, and free will.

• Hell: the infernal, dystopian dimension of demons, a chaotic realm of temptation, rebellion, and cunning.

In this AU, faithful, courteous, and chaste angels and rebellious, vulgar and lewd demons vie for influence over humanity. Yet, angels are bound by the V.E.T.O, a strict code established by God Himself. This law forbids angels and demons from touching, exposing, or directly interfering with one another while guiding humans. It restrains demonic interference, preserves the cosmic balance, and maintains the structure of creation.

The primary teams in this AU consist of the Trolls characters (and my trollsona) as angels and the Gorillaz (with my OCs) as demons. While each side strives to influence their assigned humans toward the path of good or evil, circumstances occasionally force the two teams into uneasy alliances when otherworldly forces threaten the delicate balance between light and dark.

Character Dynamics

Rosetta (Humility) ↔ Murdoc Niccals (Pride)

Rosetta, a Malak, embodies the humility of Michael, the archangel, in sharp contrast to Murdoc’s pride, echoing Lucifer’s rebellion. Leading her team with integrity, empathy, love, and resilience, she understands that true leadership is a blend of compassion and clarity of vision. Murdoc is a narcissistic, egoistic, and abusive Devil with self-proclaimed leadership over his own band of demons. Their rivalry began when Rose was chosen to oppose Murdoc after graduating from the first Golden School, outshining him in the Age of the Patriarchs. Clashes between them span centuries, including the war in Heaven, where Rose’s father, Bastion, defeated Murdoc’s father, Sebastian Jacob Niccals, for siding with Lucifer and banished him to Hell. Over time, the intensity of their rivalry softened into a competitive but respectful dynamic, especially after Rose learned of Murdoc’s tragic past when their groups met again in the present day.

Poppy (Kindness) ↔ Ursula (Envy)

Poppy, a Cupid and second-in-command, channels the virtue of kindness tied to the archangel Jophiel. Her radiant empathy, encouragement, and gentle warmth inspire trust and hope in every human she guides. Her influence is subtle yet profound, like a supernova softly illuminating the path of compassion and joy. Opposing her, Ursula, a fierce Caliban, embodies Leviathan’s sin of envy. Clever, unpredictable, and delighting in chaos, she challenges both humans and angels. Beneath her fiery, dramatic exterior, Ursula’s loyalty to her boyfriend Murdoc and her team adds depth to her character. Their rivalry is playful yet respectful, a dance of wits and strategy that highlights the nuanced ways kindness and envy shape human choices, rather than relying solely on destruction.

Branch (Charity) ↔ Ace D. Copular (Greed)

Branch, an Elim inspired by Gabriel, embodies charity in all its forms: selflessness, generosity, and guidance. He not only aids his teammates and friends but extends care to his family, especially his older brother, Floyd. Branch’s actions, guided by compassion, inspire humans to embrace generosity and altruism. Ace D. Copular, a Borda, embodies Mammon’s sin of greed, exploiting charm, wit, and opportunism to manipulate situations to his advantage. Their rivalry is both competitive and humorous, a delicate dance of strategy and moral influence, where Branch strives to uplift humanity while Ace tempts it with indulgence.

Darnell (Patience) ↔ Noodle & Cyborg Noodle (Wrath)

Darnell, one of the Ayaanli twins, reflects Raphael’s virtue of patience. Calm, measured, and insightful, he helps humans navigate struggle with clarity, offering a stabilizing presence for his team. Opposing him are an Oni named Noodle and her artificial twin, Cyborg Noodle, who both represent two sides of wrath, Azazel’s deadly sin. Noodle’s cutthroat fighting skills, cunning, and emotional intensity, combined with Cyborg Noodle’s recklessness, precision and relentless obedience, push Darnell to his limits, forcing him to adapt while maintaining his composure. Their rivalry, though intense, carries an undercurrent of mutual respect and recognition of each other’s abilities.

Trollex (Chastity) ↔ Ashley (Lust)

Trollex, a Kinnara, represents Chamuel’s virtue of chastity: purity of intent, selfless devotion, and platonic love. He devotes himself to guiding and protecting his team while maintaining moral integrity. Ashley, a Greater Succubus, embodies Asmodeus’s sin of lust, blending seduction, passion, assertiveness, while maintaining a deeply affectionate, loving and stable but horny relationship with her boyfriend 2-D. Their rivalry is playful yet challenging; Trollex navigates moral discipline against temptation, while Ashley tests limits with charm, wit, and daring while leaning into consensual lust. Mutual respect, occasional exasperation, and acknowledgment of each other’s power define their dynamic.

Holly Darlin’ (Temperance) ↔ Russel Hobbs (Gluttony)

Holly Darlin’, a Victory, embodies Zadkiel’s virtue, which is temperance: balance, stability, and thoughtful guidance. She maintains harmony within her team while inspiring moderation in humans. Russel, a Fury, personifies Beelzebub’s sin of gluttony, embracing excess with zest and indulgence, yet beneath his boisterousness lies wisdom, loyalty, and strategic insight and a sweet, gentle love for his girlfriend Chloris, a beautiful Culebra. Their rivalry demonstrates how extremes—moderation and indulgence—interact, blending competition with cooperation, and showcasing the nuanced impact of differing influences on humans.

Val Thundershock (Diligence) ↔ Stuart “2-D” Pot (Sloth)

Valentina “Val” Thundershock, a Tennin, channels Uriel’s virtue of diligence: determination, resilience, and unwavering commitment. Opposing her, 2-D, a Lilim, embodies Belphegor’s sloth: passivity, lack of initiative, and reliance on others. Despite his dimwitted appearance, 2-D possesses subtle cunning, loyalty, and moments of insight, especially in his lusty, affectionate relationship with Ashley. Their rivalry is spirited and sometimes humorous, a balancing act of frustration and amusement, highlighting contrasts in energy, motivation, and the effectiveness of influence over humans.

It’s Good Friday, a day to pause and reflect on the immense sacrifice that took place in Israel over 2000 years ago. This story has always resonated deeply with me, as my faith forms a central part of who I am, and I wanted to express that connection through this artwork. I added my trollsona Rose as an angel and Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz as a demon because it’s a preview of the artwork series that I worked on to show it on Easter Sunday and trust me, they’re not the only ones who get this angel and demon thing because the AU I am working on is inspired by the series, Angel’s Friends (I noticed that the angels and demons in the series have a supernaturally modern fashion that didn’t fit with the era because they’re unseen by human eyes due to their spiritual nature), the Hellaverse, PaSwG, and many more.

In the scene that I’ve created, the angels, including the seraphim sisters Emily and Sera, are depicted as heartbroken witnesses with God the Father to the unfolding Passion of their beloved leader, Jesus. They stand in solemn grief as they observe the series of events that led to His crucifixion. The journey begins after the Last Supper, in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus is arrested in a moment of profound anguish. From there, He was brought before Caiaphas and later Pontius Pilate, enduring a series of trials filled with injustice and scorn.

The physical torment that follows is almost unimaginable. Jesus suffers the scourging, and the crown of thorns is pressed upon His head, each thorn a sharp symbol of both pain and mockery. He is then forced to carry the cross (In a historical sense, a patibulum, or crossbeam, a historically accurate reflection of the burden placed upon Him), as He makes His way through the streets of Jerusalem. Along the Via Dolorosa, Roman soldiers whip Him, and the crowd hurls insults, echoing the cruelty of that time. He falls three times under the weight of the cross, and Simon of Cyrene is compelled to help carry it. Along the way, Jesus encounters familiar faces—His mother Mary, Veronica, and the mourning women of Jerusalem—each meeting adding layers of emotional depth and sorrow to the journey.

Finally, they reach Calvary, also known as Golgotha. Here, the ultimate act of love and suffering takes place. Nails pierce His hands and feet as He is lifted onto the cross, positioned between two criminals. One of the criminals recognizes the injustice and repents, receiving Jesus’ promise of paradise. Even in such excruciating pain, Jesus embodies compassion and forgiveness, speaking words of mercy to those who have wronged Him and entrusting His mother Mary into the care of John, the beloved disciple. After hours of agony, He breathes His final words, entrusting His spirit to God the Father. Darkness descends, and the veil of the Temple is torn, symbolizing a profound shift between humanity and the divine.

The angels and God the Father are depicted as sharing in this grief, their hearts heavy at witnessing such suffering. Yet, even in the sorrow, they understand the boundless love behind this sacrifice—a love meant to redeem humanity and offer hope. In the artwork, I’ve tried to balance historical authenticity with traditional representations of the Passion, drawing inspiration from the movie The Passion of the Christ. Roman execution methods varied, and materials were often reused—crossbeams, nails, and even ropes—to carry out the brutal process. These details add a layer of realism and highlight the sheer endurance and suffering Jesus endured.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

After diving back into Gorillaz’s music, I couldn’t resist playing matchmaker with the four fictional members. Here are the ships I paired with my OCs. I illustrated them in Bridgerton-inspired fashion after watching Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 with my cousins earlier this month. I was also inspired by Missy Foreman-Greenwald’s Bridgerton fantasy sequences from Netflix’s Big Mouth. The elegance, scandal, and romantic tension felt like the perfect aesthetic for these dynamics.

💙❤️ Stuart “2-D” Pot × Ashley

My first match for Stuart “2-D” Pot is Ashley.

2-D needs someone patient, nurturing, and fiercely protective. Given his toxic romantic history (Paula Cracker being a prime example), I created Ashley—half-Filipino, strong-willed, and emotionally intelligent—to offer him stability without stifling his creativity.

She grounds him. She soothes his anxiety. But she is no shrinking violet.

Ashley is fiery and assertive, someone who would not hesitate to defend him (especially if Murdoc is involved). Their relationship carries an inverted power dynamic: she is often the more dominant presence, confident and physically protective, while 2-D leans into his softness and vulnerability. Yet their intimacy is not one-sided—they switch, surprise each other, and share control in ways that feel natural rather than forced.

Their dynamic reminds me of Moxxie and Millie from Helluva Boss: affectionate, protective, and deeply secure. They’re the kind of couple who can’t keep their hands off each other, yet still radiate emotional safety.

In a Bridgerton-inspired setting, I imagine 2-D as an awkward bachelor from a newly wealthy family, recently heartbroken after a scandalous romance with a working-class woman. He is then betrothed to Countess Ashley of the Hawthorne family—a match arranged by her paternal grandparents with 2-D's parents. What begins as duty slowly transforms into devotion.

💜🖤 Murdoc Niccals × Ursula

For Murdoc Niccals, I paired him with Ursula—a doe-eyed American beauty with wheat-blonde hair and quiet intensity.

Their relationship begins in chaos, especially during the Plastic Beach era. Toxic, dramatic, combustible. Think political power couple with unresolved tension. But unlike relationships built purely on destruction, theirs evolved. Their dynamic eventually evolved into a dramatic, passionate, and cheesy romance.

Ursula is strong-willed, sharp-tongued when necessary, and entirely capable of challenging Murdoc. She does not submit to him—she negotiates with him. That is what earns his respect.

Their dynamic thrives on passion, ego, and power play, but over time they begin to recognize their similarities—abandonment wounds, ambition, and hunger for control. The toxicity softens into something darker yet more loyal.

In a Bridgerton setting, Murdoc would be a scandal-ridden viscount who inherited his title from an estranged grandfather. With rumors trailing him, he must marry to secure his position in society. Ursula, a ward of a noblewoman after her parents’ disgrace, becomes both his strategic alliance and his equal.

Together, they are the kind of couple whispered about behind fans and gloves.

🧡🩷 Russel Hobbs × Chloris

Russel Hobbs deserves peace.

Chloris is compassionate, grounded, and emotionally attuned. She appreciates his musical depth and understands the weight of his trauma. With her, Russel feels safe.

Their relationship is built on tenderness and devotion. They exchange affectionate pet names—he calls her his queen, his flower, his honey. She calls him Mi Rey, Mi Vida, Mi Amor—a reflection of her Salvadoran heritage.Unlike the fiery intensity of 2-D and Ashley or the dramatic power struggle of Murdoc and Ursula, Russel and Chloris embody stability. They are soft where others are sharp.

In a Bridgerton-inspired setting, Chloris comes from a newly wealthy Salvadoran family navigating London society, while Russel is a nobleman from New York with established ties to the Ton. Their romance is less scandalous—but no less meaningful.

Noodle is intelligent, self-possessed, and independent. As someone who does not conform to traditional sexual orientation labels, she values identity on her own terms.

I paired her with Hemi, a non-binary Māori character from New Zealand. Their relationship is rooted in mutual respect and intellectual connection.

They give each other space. They communicate. They understand.
