I’ve been thinking about the contrast between Phoenix, whose story is set in the ‘future’ but his biggest pivotal character moment is based in the past, vs. Layton, whose story is set in the past but his most pivotal character moment is about the future. AA4 and PL3 are some of my favorite games in their respective series, they’re so good 😭😭😭

Looks like I might have to start cutting corners again lol, I keep getting overly ambitious. But I finally got this one done!!

This was my first attempt at drawing Beanix, little Trucy, and baby Katrielle!! Also featuring my younger Alfendi and older Flora designs that I haven’t drawn in a bit. I also think that raising 3 kids would take a toll on Layton. He’s a middle aged single father of 3, level 5. Let him actually age.

I did consider having it be Claire instead of Randall but I feel like she’s too nice to be compared with Dahlia lol (could be interpreted as romantic or platonic ranlay)

And I don’t know if Phoenix is a night owl, I don’t remember his sleeping habits being mentioned in the games, but again. This just felt in character lol.
