Kabru and Mithrun go to Rainbow High Con with Milsiril 🌈

initially i just wanted to draw Kabumisu wearing cute outfits and took some inspiration from my dolls. and then i remembered milsiril also has a whole thing with dolls so now she’s a fashion doll collector and probably also OOAK doll artist in this little modern au/crossover/whatever.

just a fun little character design eggsperiment 😀 i’m trying to get better at drawing stylized animals bc i don’t do that too often. for these i closely referenced the tlk character designs and then slapped some dunmeshi elements on top to make a sortof mashup.

top to bottom these are Laios/Simba, Falin/Nala, Chilchuck/Timon, Kabru/Kovu.

im not trying to draw any narrative parallels between the two here i just went by what seemed the most fitting/funny to me :))))) igot some more characters planned to make this a more complete au, sketches under the cut if you’re interested :))))
