More thoughts about S2 stuck in my head that I must release. I loathe the idea of further romance between Wednesday and Tyler. I certainly did not interpret any romantic tension in there scenes, but I recognize I am biased as I see Wenclair as the viable romantic ship.

However, I am more than okay with Wednesday and Enid being friends strictly platonically. I see potential for more, but this is one of Netflixs biggest shows so I just know it won't happen.

But! If we go with Wednesday and Enid being each others ride or die besties. A platonic bond of sisterhood. Well, here's the thing about sisters. They don't date the boys who threaten and attempt to kill their sister. At least good friends and good sisters don't.

Tyler tried to kill Enid twice in season 1. Once at Gates mansion, and then in the finale. In the first half of season 2, he makes it very clear that he wants to kill Enid. Why on earth would Wednesday find that attractive if she has this strong, unbreakable platonic sisterly bond with Enid? Cause I have a sister, and a brother, and a bestie that I ride or die for. And any time anyone has treated them less than they deserved, trust we had instant beef. Beef that lingers to this day and never dies because thats just how it is.

So I'm cool with Wednesday and Enid being an unbreakable friendship. But then we have to respect friendship as a legitimate status. Something that you protect, fight for, and kill for. Not something that goes on the backburner for a cute boy for the sake of having a "dark" (abusive) romance.

In summary, Wednesday and Enid as friends I dont feel can exist in conjuction with Wednesday and Tyler in any capacity. Cause a good friend doesn't date the people who hurt you.

kay I'll probably be super wrong. buuuuuut..... the security guards at the psych facility that tyler is kept at said that he has lots of obsessive fan girls who try to get in. you know who else is obsessive? Agnes (who im really enjoying btw). She's invisible which would make it easy for her to sneak in and she seems to be easily manipulated and enthralled with the nevermore disasters last yr. Idk I feel like there could be a connection between them?? only on ep 3 rn so there could be no connection at all. :))

The realism of Robby being a little bit of an unintentional misogynist is so, so important to me. Like he is a good boss and a great teacher, he is friends with women and works with women and teaches women and respects women greatly. And yet—it’s Langdon, and then Whitaker, who Robby adopts as his mentees. It’s David, not the girls on the kill list, who Robby prioritizes care for. It’s the dad accused of grooming his daughter who Robby refuses to report, while informing the authorities about the mother drugging him without a second thought. He reams Langdon out for berating Santos, but doesn’t check in on Santos until Langdon refuses to let it go and Robby becomes suspicious of there being an actual problem.

And obviously we are seeing Robby on the worst day of life, and maybe even calling him a “little bit of a misogynist” is a bit too much because he’s not, really. But he does have ingrained biases and he does seem to only be able to fully see himself in and completely empathize with other men. And that is just. So true of even the nicest, kindest, most wonderful and feminist men I know.

The strongest theme of The Pitt for me is how nothing is how the public expects it. You think you know how unhoused people look like? No, he can be a fourth year med student doing his best. CSA survivor with a best friend who committed suicide? she's the meanest R1 who is not letting injustice slide and gets so excited about every procedure. The addict and the woman going through a miscarriage are the most competent senior residents you've ever seen. The attending saving the day at the last minute is an amputee.

Noah Wyles and his team really said "Nothing in ER departments is how it's supposed to be from the 12-hour wait times to the lack of blood, but people going through what would be anybody else's worst day are the only thing keeping the american healthcare system together"

a guy who's rowdiness speaks to him like a venom symbiote and also has no straight explanation for any of his behavior

an octagenarian gunslinger who joined a pack of coyotes after his divorce and who's first words when he was introduced were "dribble a little piss"

a (not great) toysmith with a haunted past and a slavic accent

a 6 foot tall butch with a sick prosthetic arm and just the most wet cat of a husband

and a famous author who's novels fell off after the fourth or fifth one

truly the adventuring party of all time
