Campaign 4 still has not come back, private nightmares is great but not quite fun, basketball is in the off season, tennis is in the afternoon because we are in the american swing, finished witch hat atelier, even all the fanfic i was reading is getting stale and the youtube algorithm continues to be shit. Genuinely too bored to even start studying this is a tragedy.

it’s so important to me that azune is genuinely incredible at being A Good Soldier and yet he is distinctly not as comfortable with playing this role as he may appear. he’s so competent, so prepared to do whatever is necessary for the mission to succeed, so willing to adapt to what the situation demands from him… and it scares him sometimes. because how much of yourself can you change for the sake of others before you become unrecognizable? how far are you willing to go? will you become something terrible — a beautiful nightmare — to protect what matters most to you? and if you do, can you live with that version of you being how they remember you? as the weapon you became, and not the person you were?

this post will make sense to like two people on this website but to me the pirates episode in hamlet and the lastrygonian encounter in the odyssey occupy the same kind of weird event. strange ambush encounter with nefarious and deadly actors but nothing bad enough to affect any characters we care about. you could cut it entirely. comes out of nowhere and is not that important even though???? pirates??? cannibals?? hello??? never mind them we’re just moving on! they will never be brought up again
