At last...I have figured out how to convey the feeling of watching season 1 episode 4 of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

The Baby Madness Beast:

Although the creature's name implies that this specific drawing is the beast itself, that is a common misconception. The thing illustrated below is simply one of many that has been infected and subsequently turned into A madness beast. There is no one particular entity, but instead some people, when faced with the overwhelming cuteness of various kinds of babies, are overcome with the urge to protect the babies and frequently turn on family and friends in a misguided, unstoppable thirst for blood. There is not much that can be done to prevent these infections, as it is not possible to accurate gauge who might be affected prior to symptom onset. The infected person will begin by becoming standoffish to their loved ones, growing more aggressive and defensive regarding whatever infant, human or animal, has set them off, until they start to morph physically and become entirely unrecognizable from who they were. Although it is not untreatable, and is very rare, the damage can be irreparable, either to the individual, their loved ones, or both.
