Apologies in advance for not breaking the European countries down into smaller geographic units but that requires a deeper dive.

But once again the state of hockey shows up to the draft with ten players claiming a Minnesota hometown. Ontario also ties for most with ten. (Though this is where I point out the population of Ontario is nearly three times that of Minnesota! So y'know, per capita... ;) ) that means they contributed 13.9% of players each.

British Columbia and Alberta with good showings at 6 and 5.

Bonus country breakdown:

i am pro transgender! trans women deserve to play and even trans men in this league (if they wish to). i do think the t-men should go to the nhl, but seeing as that is unlikely, having them here is better than not playing at all. trans players are not your enemy, and they sure arent mine
