The Monkey King watched as she reappeared in front of him again, and sighed. He placed his staff to the side and leaned on it a little. It didn’t seem like she was going to attack him but he’ll still watch closely to make sure she doesn’t.

“I’m sure you’ve heard about me, I did become king rather recently after all. Please, no applause.” he eyed her and sighed. “But you must have been traveling on some mission while a lot was happening on this side of the world I assume.”

He paused for a moment. “What were you running from?”

But Gate Rings never showed where they’d send you at the end of a zone. The one she had passed through had dropped her here, an it looked like her home to her. Well...FORMER home. The Dragon Kingdom...her birthplace, her origin....the one place she was told to never return to. Dread clenched her heart, she just had to wait a few hours for her old warp ring to recharge. Then she could go home...her real home. She folded her hands together and took a deep breath to calm herself, her white scales restoring to their normal magenta. She could do this...she was outside the shinobi territory right? At least...she hoped she was you never knew with other worlds. “I’m fine, this is FINE!”

He was used to chameleons and spies after all. Working with them and being against them. He figured this was no different. But why would a chameleon be wanting to spy on him?

The king squinted at her as she appeared in front of him, and was heavily confused. “Espia?” he asked and eyed her up and down. She was very similar to Espio...even the name. “I’m not from any clan...that’s true. I’m King of this land Ken Khan.” he lowered his staff just a little bit.

Headcanon:

Monkey Behavior:

-He loves cuddling. Specifically his s/o he will become clingy. (this could also be with people he finds as close family. but either way he's gonna be a little tsundere about it and act like it didn't happen LOL )

-If a stressful situation happens he will become more aggressive, which is seen in the comics. Easily irritable. Once it passes he tends to want to be comforted (cuddled)he'll never admit that.

-So Monkey's chirp to locate their young, or so their young can come back to them. He probably does this to Lian if he can't find her and just tells her it's some sort of code. He will also do this to younger muses if he becomes a father figure or older brother figure to some.

-Khan is very lively, always revved up and ready to go. But because of his temper he's learning to meditate more. He also has a mischievous side to him.

He stepped a little closer and pointed his staff at her. “Answer me.” he demanded. “You’re in my territory after all.”

He just wanted to relax today. It’s irritating enough that Lian always annoys him when she can, but it seems like there was always something that was ready to disturb the time he spent to himself.

Flying nearby the King had noticed a fire burning. So obviously he was scanning the area to save anyone nearby, and just as he picked up the white fox she immediately started squirming and successfully escaped his grasp. He didn’t have time for this. This was already annoying enough.

“SHUT UP!!” he yelled at her. “there’s a fire and if you don’t get on this cloud you could be crisp is that what you want!?” he pointed in the direction of the smoke. “My friend is taking care of putting it out right now.”

The King was meditating in the bamboo forest, that was a bit far from the his home. It was a good area for relaxation, there was a river nearby that also helped him to relax as well. It was the perfect spot, and one he went to often.

Suddenly he heard a noise nearby and stood up quickly. It was the sound of someone yelling. Perhaps they gotten into an argument with someone else. Either way, he was nosey enough to check it out. He grabbed his staff and walked over to the source...a chameleon? She definitely looked stress.

“Hey, who are you and what are you doing here?” she looked suspiciously like another chameleon he knew.
