I'm thinking something like a double breasted coat with a skirt, pantyhose, fingerless gloves, and boots... For starters.
Like... Something classy, but practical.
Problem is that I don't want things to look too much like an existing character without good reason for doing so.
I mean... Her having some involvement with the organization that sent the four AI into New Eridu is extremely likely, but we're too early to guess how strong the connection is.
Like... If you can imagine a shadow faction that lingers behind everything else... Monitoring, studying, and manipulating things to some unknown end... That's what we're dealing with here in abstract, but what can be presented is never the same as what is truth.
From what I can devise, if anyone were to look her up, they're more liable to find some sort of strange connection to TOPS before the trail goes cold.
Maybe a story about a list of possible successors to the current head... And the competition it involves. Although technically, her involvement is a bit of a lie, but it is a lie that is easier to process than the truth.
Like... They're all going crazy trying to prove themselves and the reality is that she's one of the judges, not an actual candidate.
The position she's going to inherit one day is that of the shadow organization... The "head's head" and this is just part of her training... And even if the actual relationship is masked with a clever lie, the unease of what might happen if she did win remains.
So... Quite a bit of her initial interactions are going to be second, third hand, and under the guide of a false identity... Especially when it comes to Phaethon... And what affiliations she appears to have are connected.
I suppose in less formal interactions, her being a "consultant" or contact for some factions would make sense, but something would have to come up that would require her to actually show up.
Other case, she might just "happen" to be there, but she's not liable to just butt into matters directly... Even if nobody can actually stop her from doing so.
Still... For the sake of plot, she could show up early and at any time, but there wouldn't be any reason for her to directly introduce herself right away... Even if she is quite curious where the path would lead.
Just kind of picture her kind of "haunting" the narrative and not being properly introduced until they get to the Academy... Since there's a likely chance that Sunbringer might want to put her into play.
But it never is that simple...
Like positioning is one thing... what does she look like, call herself... How would she dress and the like is another?
