The Side are SO dramatic

Now I have a new au-

A modern Vampire Anxceit AU starring Vampire Virgil, and Human Janus who had been dragged into impulse graverobbing random corrupt rich people crypts by his chaotic and morally questionable but still human best friend Remus.

Instead of finding anything that you normally would expect to find on such an 'adventure,' the first coffin they stumble across is a black steel one with numourus locks and is also chained into the ground.

Remus being the curious little shit that he is, decides to abandon what little self control he'd ever been gifted with and has Janus help him pick/unlock everything to find whats inside that could be so important that it needs to be so secured. And, well..

They open the heavy as fuck lid, and by the time they can see into it. It's.. Empty.

And theyre really confused for half a second, look at eachother, then Janus watches as Remus freezes, before a pair of deathly cold hands gently cup over Janus's eyes. And a new voice joins the mix:

"Thank you kindly for freeing me. It's been over a century since Ive been free of that wretched casket. Judging by your appearances, I've missed.. A lot, it seems."

So. Of course- Remus decides to adopt Virgil immediately into their weird group to teach Virgil the ins and outs of modern day life, and Janus, fearing that Remus will be a bad influence to this super strong super fast Vampire if left completely on his own to wreck havoc on their town, steps in to help balance out Remus(not that his influence really makes anything better, as hes best friends w/ someone who eats nasty food combos and does things like graverobbing on impulse, he himself a skilled lockpick with a silver tongue and a penchant for lying on impulse.)

Turns out Virgil takes a v strong liking to Janus, and is super fucking awkward about it for the longest time bc of the social/time language barrier, even if hes a quick learner.

They eventually get together, and thus we get to the things that I doodled, which cant mostly be described as "Virgil goes om nom nom Mine and Janus is content to go along w/ it"

BACKSTORY EPISODE! NARRATED BY JANUS!!! (WITH ART!!?!?!???)

One of those episodes where we see multiple people recount the same event/conversation and give wildly conflicting accounts. Every subsequent narration slowly makes the “truth” more apparent, but some things are left ambiguous

The Sides react to early season 1 and die inside

The Sides read fanfiction of themselves and die inside (except Remus he’s having the time of his life)

Logan practicing summoning and messing up in increasingly ridiculous ways. This culminates into Janus’s hat flying out of nowhere, and he pops in absolutely furious bc he thought Roman stole it again

Ethics class a la The Good Place with Patton and Janus (and Logan, I would hope. He’s not an ethics expert but he would know how the principles Patton and Janus come up with would work in real life) figuring out how to guide Thomas’s moral code.
