Leon meant to joke, when they finally get to him, like he knew they would, "Took you long enough," but when the person moves close enough he can regonice them, Maxi, he knows he doesn't want to hurt him like he would if he does that, he hasn't come up with a better thing to say, but he doesn't need to because as soon as Maxi gets the gag off Leon he is kissing him. It's not how Maxi kisses normally. Outside Leon can hear the noise of fighting, while here in the room they used as a cell, Maxi presses him so hard against the brick wall that it hurts, he is biting too. Leon let him, kisses back, his hands are still bound, caught between their bodies. When Maxi leans back, just enough to let them both catch their breath, Leons tastes blood, Maxis pupils are blown wide and he looks the bad kind of wild, like he is about to do something really stupid, or maybe kissing Leon is the really stupid thing, Leon does know he isn't really a great kind of friend, even if you put his unfortune bad habit of getting kidnapped aside. "Do you know how many times you've been kidnapped this year?" Case in point of being a bad kind of friend instead of apologizing for making his friends worry again, Leon snaps: "You can't blame me for that, it's not like I wanted them to take me!" The moment its out Leon knows it's the wrong thing to say, Maxi is surging forward again, pressing harder against him, which Leon wouldn't have though possible, like he wants to melt into him, this time Leon doesn't kiss back, it's one thing to indulge someone who has a bad day, it's another to stand by and watch someone barrel over a cliff in full speed. "Maxi," he says with his best stern leader voice, he really wishes his hands were free so he could put them on Maxis shoulder, "Your not to blame either," Maxi had been there when they snatched him, but there were too many for two of them, and it wouldn't have done anyone any good if they caught him too. Leon knows that Maxi has to know that, logically, emotional was a different thing, of course he blames himself for deserting Leon and letting him be carried off while he went back and told the others, Leon would probably feel the same way if their roles were swapped. Maxi is shaking, he is as angry as he is scared, Leon is very familar with that feeling: "I knew you would come," he says, outside they are still fighting. "How can you still be so arrogant?" Maxi says, his voice is shaking, and he kisses him again, biting him again. Leon knows its a good thing, Maxi is pissed at him, as much as he really doesn't like it, when they were kids, Maxi never used to get angry with people who hurt him, least of all with his father who hurt him the most, they got angry for him, Leon was very good at being angry at people after all, he knows Maxi being angry at him is a sign of trust, but the team that snatched him is actually pretty dangerous and they really should get out of here, so he pushes as good as he can against him. "Because I trust you. Now come on, you can yell at me, or kiss me or whatever you want once we get out of here kay?"
