please remember us when talking about neurodiversity. ocd, dyslexia, dyscaculia, personality disorders, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, schizo-spec disorders, etc. all fall under neurodiversity.

please stop saying neurodivergent when you mean "autism and adhd."

i also though wanna talk to the people who dont think theyve been "traumatized enough" to be plural, or dont have the obvious front switches or anything of the sort: i assure you that there is nothing to lose by trying. you disrespect nobody by exploring your identity (or identities), and can be plural without being a system! its terrifying, its new, but thats many things in this world. keep a journal, talk to yourself with new names, see what you can do. and if youre wrong? then you tried, and you didnt die not knowing. its a bit more freeing for me to be plural than other systems, sure, but again, you dont know until you try. you dont think you have "enough" to count? heres your permission to try and see. theres something worth it in there, it may make your july more survivable or just be another part of it. i hope we dont have more "i may be a system but i have a job so i cant really care about that rn" then we need (which is none), and i hope you survive this july.

Disabled people often die from a lack of support. A lot of disability aids are not a luxury, but a basic need in order to live.

“Well what happens if—” people die. People hurt themselves. People hurt others. Disabled people don’t magically become abled if our needs aren’t met.

If a bedbound quadriplegic is caught in a housefire, and there’s nobody there to save them, they’ll probably die. They won’t magically become able-bodied out of sheer will.

If a nonspeaking/nonverbal autistic is denied access to alternative methods of communication, they’ll suffer in silence. They won’t spontaneously become capable of speech.

Recently we've been experiencing plumbing issues that we thought we had solved, but it was only pushed back and worsened over time. Today, we learned that it was because of clay piping that had shifted under the basement floor.

The plumbers will have to remove the floor entirely to get to the pipes, and it will cost us nearly 5k. We don't have that money, we're a single income household and can barely afford groceries and rent in this horrendous economy. Neither of us have family willing to help us pay.
