I think that part of what irks me about AI being used even for "small" stuff like meme graphics (aside from all the larger problems obviously) is like.... the time spent on it was part of the humor. "this is a silly inconsequential joke but I had to stop everything and spend 5 minutes making it" was, at least for me, part of the joke. Someone really took time out of their day to make me look at something silly they took time out of their day to make. Now it's like someone took time out of my day to make me look at something no one even made. Stop wasting my time if you aren't wasting yours too.

choji tomiyama is a lot more of a powerhouse than people give him credit for. in my opinion, he's the most underrated top fighter. of course we know chika and endo and umemiya and sakura are very powerful (not an extensive list do not come for me if i forgot ur fav) but i so rarely see talk of choji's power
at his weakest point we see him nearly beat umemiya- which is insanely impressive in itself. but you have to remember this is choji in a worse state mentally, which is impacting his physical prowess.
in the noroshi arc, when we see him again he is stated to be stronger, and bests two noroshi members who took down two of bofurin's kings. and from what we see it is not a close fight!!!
this all implies that choji could best umemiya at this point in time, and likely go toe to toe with chika and endo. he's an awesome fighter but does not get as much appreciation as any of the other big names

Rakta and Suo both being such straight-faced liars in such different ways. Rakta and Suo being both immensely observant but lowkey about that knowledge. Rakta and Suo both being very effective and efficient, to the point it's a well-known fact. like we aren't 100% on their normal dynamic yet but small Suo having looked up to the way Rakta handles things and admired him for it is an image that just doesn't want to leave me
The subtle racism this fandom has when it comes to Rakta specifically is kinda insane ngl
Dude has done literally nothing to imply he’s up to no good. Every time we’ve seen him, he’s been doing his job as a member of the RC: helping people and keeping an eye on things/people that might cause trouble (like outsiders digging for info on one of the RC officers and consistently trying to break into a redistricted area that the RC is meant to protect).
He literally just decided to cover for Furin after seeing that they’re genuinely good people. If he’d helped them in hopes of them joining him in some nefarious scheme, that would be pretty pointless since they’d just proven themselves too kind to go along with something like that. Which means he helped them because they’re good people. He seems a little stern but not unkind. He has an unreadable and calculating expression, not unlike we’ve seen on Suo in the past. Speaking of which, he seems pretty close to Suo too. We’ve seen how good Suo is at reading people and their intentions. We’ve also seen how genuinely angry Suo gets toward bad people. Do people really think Suo would work closely with Rakta if Rakta were a bad person? Also, it’s been established in previous arcs that Umemiya is really good at reading people and knowing whether they’re a good person or not. He immediately clocked Rakta as a good person. I know Ume can be an idiot at times, but when it comes to reading people’s intentions, he’s no fool.
Rakta has done absolutely nothing wrong, yet so many people in this fandom have singled him out for their theories of corruption and evil ulterior motives. Like, hello??? Why?? Because he observed them when they tried to break in (which is literally his job)? Because he hides his true emotions (so does Suo and also Sugishita most of the time)? Because he hasn’t already explained himself (neither did several characters in previous arcs until we actually found out what situation they were in)?
No one has been able to give me an actual answer as to what he’s done in the few chapters he’s been present that made them believe he’s actually an antagonist. All I’ve seen is a genuinely kind person who happens to have rbf.
And I’d also like to believe that Nii-sensei wouldn’t make the first and most important dark-skinned character into some sort of deceptive bad guy. I’m sorry, but that would be an absolutely terrible message to send & frankly I think it would be the opposite message of what this entire arc in an immigrant-based city is going to convey.
