Hi, my love, I miss you so much more. It's a curse to be dating such a talented man sometimes, and this moment is one prime example. You can't let them kick your ass, babe; you've gotta' show 'em who's boss. Tour planning is going great; I'm really enjoying it and being this part of my creative self again. Also been in the studio a bit, tinkering around with some lyrics now that I have quite the muse...

Funny you say that, because Die if I Don't was at the top of my list because I'm a sucker for a bit of yearning. Are you going to be sitting on your hands until the album comes out in June? I feel like the waiting's the hardest part once you have a date set.

So I have a couple of ideas I want to run by you because both of them sound good to me and I can't decide. I know you're going to be going out on tour soon and I am currently filming my last project I have on the books right now so depending on when your tour is set to start, should we take a mini vacation before you leave me in the dust and go make your fans happy or should we wait until its actually summer?

Baby... I want the record to show first and foremost that I would never leave you in the dust. Does this mean that our work schedules are going to be polar opposites and that you won't be able to come out and see a show? I'm pouting about that right now, big time. I'm never going to turn down a mini vacation with you, handsome. Bonus points if it's somewhere where I can pretend it's still winter, even though it's definitely not winter in LA.

The calm before the chaos… I love that stage. So much anticipation! You’ll have to keep me updated as everything starts taking shape. And Hawaii was just dreamy, exactly what I needed after the award season whirlwind and before The Testaments press takes over. Pretty sure I broke a record for most consecutive hours spent by a pool. How was it for you?

As you should have, girl! I did a lot of the same -- a lot of poolside or in the pool time, and a lot of spending time with my man. Can't complain. Already ready for another vacation, but prepping for tour calls -- grateful, but already tired.

Do you think that we could find a way to get the recipe for those? They might not be as good, but I bet we could make them almost as good. We can have a night of good music and cocktails.

I totally bet we could, Liv. The two of us masterminds? We might even be able to concoct something better. I wouldn't put it past us.

...this is me asking. I wouldn't mind you walking around without a stitch on but I know living in LA, you never know who might be lurking so its probably best that you have some clothing on. You're biased my love, but I'll take the compliment. It was a wonderful week we got to spend together and all it did was make me long for the next one. Maybe next time though it can be just you and me?
