It's good to just finally be able to ground yourself back into your safe space, that i can fully understand. Just nothing differs then your own, cold side pillow. Anyway, he and i have that in common. It's exactly that, rare. Family, friends, partner, to just tell you they got you, when it's so easy to get so wound up in your mind, especially as an actor. But there is that calmer difference in having someone around, i imagine it's like that with billie joe, that he just knows you need something, maybe before you even do, like too many wheels are turning on set until they're not. It's just really special. Do you see them often, of is it kinda like, every couple months or family gathering suddenly they've either got far more facial hair then last time and grew another inch. Where's that darn pause button, totally. I miss saturday morning cartoon times ! So very close to my boys ages too. It's like, yes they're technically adults, but so far from. Also, it's so sweet that you both share a name. Oh believe me, that's entirely what it was. He remained content on his painting, and all splatters just ended up everywhere that wasn’t the canvas. And i'll say it again. Just down right unfair pedro, mermaids everywhere were shaking in their tails when you were in that water. And it's entirely that, i know how important they all are to one another...i've heard so many stories already and i think there's just always that tiny inkling in your brain before meeting anyone that's important to someone in your life, its like you wanna make a good impression, which feels so dumb to imagine anything otherwise. Exactly. There's always that tiny part of your brain that doesn't quite trust that you're actually done. You wake up and for half a second you're convinced somebody's about to knock on the door and tell you call time got moved up three hours. So getting back to your own space, your own routines, and yes, most importantly, your own cold side of the pillow, feels like a win. That's what I mean. It's not even always about someone fixing anything. Sometimes it's just knowing there's somebody there who sees the wheels spinning and doesn't need an explanation. They just know. That's what makes those relationships so valuable. The world gets noisy, your brain gets noisy, and then certain people walk into the room and somehow everything gets quieter. You're not wrong about the nephews, either. They live in Florida so I don't see them as often as I would like to; only when their mother and I's schedule's align. It's especially unfair when they start looking older while you still feel about seventeen internally. Saturday morning cartoons were elite, by the way. There was no better feeling than waking up early with absolutely nowhere to be and an entire morning dedicated to cereal and cartoons. I am still a huge fan of Fraggle Rock, both the classic, and the reboot they did. Whenever I get the morbs and horror movies won't fix it, I go down to Fraggle Rock. The mermaid propaganda has gotten completely out of control. Every time this story gets retold, I become more aquatic and more disruptive to marine life. At this rate, next week you'll be telling people I emerged from the ocean riding a dolphin. As for Billie, I don't think it's dumb at all. I think everybody gets that feeling when they're meeting someone important to somebody they care about. You want them to walk away thinking, "Oh, okay. I get it. I see why this person matters to you." That's the part that matters. Not being impressive. Just being yourself and hoping the pieces fit. And from everything you've told me, I have a feeling you're worrying about a problem that doesn't actually exist.
