It just so happened that my first fathers day landed pretty soon after she came too, so I am feeling really loved today. It's a nice day. I know, and that's what everyone has been telling us. Soon we are going to be missing when they are this little. I can't wait to see what personality she takes on though, and when she starts to take on little traits from the both of us. It's going to be really cute to see I already know it. How are you doing? Everything going good?
so true. my girls will be five next month and that's blowing my mind. feels like i blinked and here we are. i definitely have moments of missing when they were such sweet babies. aw yeah, it's so fun seeing their little personalities and how similar and different they are from y'all. i see a lot of myself in the girls every once in a while and it's jarring sometimes. i'm doing alright, thanks. been getting back into the studio and started working on some new music.
It's a feeling that hits and when it does? It hits hard. Oh my god, yes we were kids during such an iconic time though. We had the best of both worlds. We were all excited for the future and what it would be like for us all while living so presently. Waiting for the clock to strike just to gossip on the phone with your girlies was something I hated, but once I got on that phone with them? My mom had to pry me off it. Do you still have those cringe-level music videos that you made? Because if you do? I'd love to see it! You were all having fun and being creative which mad respect, girl. When you brought up cringe-level videos I thought we were going to talk about Kelly Rowland's music video for 'Dilemma' and how she used Excel to text. Calling in to request a song, yes! I remember doing that. I also remember calling in to try and win concert tickets. Man, I miss the good ole days. Same here β I stay on that heavy replay with all my favorite songs from them.
We really had the best childhood and nobody can convince me otherwise. Ha, oh yeah, I for sure got in trouble a time or two for talking on the phone too long. Oh god, I don't even know. I'd probably have to search my mum's house if she hasn't cleared everything of ours. But if I find any, you'll be the lucky one to see that treasure. Kelly texting with excel! That was iconic and cracks me up every time I remember or see a meme of it. Like no wonder you weren't getting a text back girl. I kinda miss the old phones we had though. If you had the full keyboard that was such a flex back then. I yearn for physical click of the buttons or the drama of snapping a flip phone shut to end a call. RIP to my og pink motorola razr, she was everything. And let's not forget the fashion, I mean there's some questionable outfits of the past that I prefer to forget ever happened but I reckon there's a reason some of the trends are coming back around. Yes! They can pry the 90s and 2000s pop and rnb from my cold dead hands.
Honestly? I think Iβve actually grown pretty fond of the chaos. The tantrums, the attitude, the noiseβ¦ all of it just makes the house feel more alive. And getting to start and end every day next to you through it all? Thatβs become my favourite part of every day. Ohβ¦ I was kind of hoping we could find a place of our own? I know how much your home means to you, darling, but I'd really love for us to have somewhere that's ours from day one. A place where we make all of our first memories together, you know?
Never a dull moment 'round here. Almost makes it feel weird when they're gone to their dad's and the house is way too quiet. I understand that, babe, I just thought it'd be easier. Moving is such a headache and honestly I didn't really think I'd move again after the last time. I wanted this to be the home the girls grew up in. Of course I want to live together but I'm not gonna lie, it's hard for me to let go. It holds so many memories and moments I'm never gonna experience again.
Hell no hopefully Leigh Anne and Aaron break up. More for us singles!
Well you heard it here first. The people have spoken, and it's time you guys break up and give the people what they want. Which it sounds like the both of you is what the people want. Play the field!

It was so good to see you at the wedding the other day. I'm also still so in awe of your stage presence and thrilled I was able to catch one of your shows while I was in LA. Truly a highlight. @ariigrandes
darling! thank you!! you're so sweet. i feel the love and i appreciate it so much. i am glad everybody knows that because i am receiving all this love and i wouldn't trade it for anything. thank you for your wonderful wishes. how old is your little one now? did you keep it secretly until the end? βI have two boys so people seems really excited with the idea of me having a baby girl. I still have no idea but i will be so happy with another boy. i think the idea of a little baby girl scares me a little.
you're glowing! oh god, i hated when people would tell me that 'cause half the time it was just me sweating. being heavily pregnant in the height of summer is really not for the weak. especially with twins. but there really is something about it that makes us shine differently. my girls are four, gonna be five next month actually. don't even wanna think 'bout it, they're growing up so fast. it wasn't secret the whole time, i announced it when i was four months along. mostly 'cause the belly was getting too big to hide for much longer than that. plus it was freeing to not have to worry about it as well once the news was out there. i did keep working throughout most of my pregnancy though. i would honestly love to see you have a girl. another little you running around? adorable. it's not too bad, but there's also definitely been some jarring moments when i see myself in them. my sister is a boy mum and swears it's easier but i think both have their high and low points.
it comes with the whole being a mom thing! i swear they can and it's cute when they are little, but now they are getting older? i am like they know what they are saying! you are not going to be prepared when that happens, but it'll be amusing to! i would hope that i'm not the last person, but i'm sure on that list. i bet that you have so many stories like mine! kids do, especially mine..because their father has a very big passion when it comes to music.
it's so much funnier when they're little and innocent. until they get old enough to really sting a bit. ha, i feel it's impossible to be prepared but hopefully it will at least be in private not somewhere out in public. that's all i can hope for. it's always cool to discover new music. however it happens. i tend to get stuck in my comfort playlists at times so a little push is good. aw that's nice. funny how our music tastes can be are so influenced by our parents. so much of what i love is because of what my older sisters were listening to as well. of course gotta pass that on to my girls. their dad is an athlete so i feel they more so get the competitiveness from him. we'll see if they get any interest into sports in the next few years, i just know he'd love that if it happens.
We all ended up having a good laugh off of it. How many girls do you have? She loves wrestling but in a way I don't want her to be a wrestler. I would worry about her getting hurt. I think starting them traveling early is a good thing. I think more parents should do it.
I have twin girls, and they'll be five next month. I totally get that. As much as it's sweet to see them loving what I do now, I wouldn't wish for them to deal with some of the things in the industry that I have had to. But if when they're older that's what either of them want to seriously pursue, I'd support them and make sure they know it's not gonna be a smooth sailing path always. Starting traveling so early has definitely helped. I'd agree that it's a good idea if they can. I mean, there's for sure still occasional melt downs. You never know when or what will set off a tantrum. Not gonna lie, I get a little stressed out sometimes too. Traveling with two kids is a lot whenever it's just me.

So Iβve never in my life did karaoke. Iβve always wanted to but I guess the opportunity never presented itself. I didnβt realize how intense choosing a karaoke song would be. So hereβs my question - whatβs your go to karaoke song and why? I feel like if someone ever invites me to this I need to be prepped. I canβt make a fool of myself. But I have no damn idea. Clueless over here.
@hfrpstarters
Girl, what?! How have you never done karaoke? That's blowing my mind right now. Ha, oh yeah, the art of picking a song is probably the most serious part of it all. There's always a handful of standard karaoke songs but It's good to have a few go-to options in your pocket. My top pick is I Will Always Love You... go big or go home, I say. I also like doing Mr. Brightside or Unwritten. Don't sweat it too much, honestly half the fun of karaoke is making a fool of yourself and not being too serious with it.
Can I just say how much Iβve loved this whole βliving togetherβ thing while you and the girls have been staying with me in Atlanta during filming? Sharing everyday life with you all has been such a gift, and honestly, itβs becoming harder and harder to imagine life any other way. So, my love, how would you feel about making this our new normal and finding a place together?
I could certainly get used to this, I love getting just a little taste of what every day life with you would be. And I'd say the fact that the occasional tantrums and attitude from the mini me's ain't got you running for the hills is a good sign. I don't know how to go back to not waking up or falling asleep beside you each day after this. Aw, babe, living together sounds amazing. You know, there's plenty of space at mine... if you'd like to move in.
Lately I've been discussing things with my friends bout what we miss from the early 2000s and even late 90s. And one of them said they missed how slow and calm life was back then. Which true β technology wasn't consuming us. Does anyone remember how we had to wait until like 9pm for calls to be free? When our cell phones didn't have internet on them and the camera quality was shit, but we all thought it was good for the time? Oh and don't let me forget about the ringtones we would record, as well as the song we'd chose for our voicemail. What's one thing from the past that you miss? @hfrpstarters
Oh my days, don't even get me started. The 90s and early 2000s nostalgia hits so hard. You really had to be there. Everything felt so much simpler for sure. Then again, we were also kids back then too. Not a care in the world. But damn those really were the days. Ha, the waiting to call anyone was so real. And if you had some real good gossip or important news, it would feel like the longest wait ever. Please, there were so many cringe-level "music videos" made with my friends that was recorded on my shit quality digital camera. And it was so many takes to even get it, 'cause we'd be laughing and messing up, just have a time. Ohh, for me, the party lines! When we'd call in the radio stations to request a song on a Friday or Saturday night. Summers spent outside all day doin' who knows what till the street lights came on. But one thing's for sure, the 90s and 2000s will always live heavy in my playlists.
Yes because she was clueless that she was wrong and Rebecca just had the best laugh off of it. I was about to ask her if she had anything she needed to tell me but sometimes she takes things to heart and I wasn't getting that Irish temper riled up. She loves wrestling and travels with us everywhere. She's seen so much of the world.
Those are some of the best belly laughs at the most unexpected timings. Ha, probably a smart choice on your part. I would be cracking jokes and then that would be a thing I'd literally never let you forget. Just becomes part of the family lore. Aw, that's sweet. That's how my girls are about singing and performing. I've noticed them becoming more interested in it, when they've been with me in the studio or watching me on stage. I've brought them along to photoshoots a couple times as well. They're so in awe and want to be part of whatever's going on. I brought them along on tour when they were just babies but that doesn't count 'cause they don't really remember any of that. But on the plus, they travel quite well now for the most part.

Now that the surprise is out, I guess I can finally tell you why I disappeared a little after the TDWP2 press tour that's when I found out I was pregnant. Since then, I've been taking some time to process this beautiful surprise and simply enjoy it with my family and my kids, who are beyond excited. I was not expecting this at all, but my goodness... I couldn't be happier. If I'm being completely honest, my plan was to wait until The Odyssey press tour to share the news. But, well... TMZ got there first. So I wanted to announce it my way. So... now you can officially start making your guesses. Boy or girl? @hfrpstarters
How exciting! Oh my god, congratulations darling! Also the squeal that escaped me when I saw your reveal post on instagram... pretty sure I got a few looks for that. But who even cares. I'm glad to hear you got at least some time to process and appreciate such news before letting everyone else know. Even if the bloody tabloids and gossip rags ruined that and made you announce it earlier than you planned. Honestly, keeping those moments for just you and those closest is the best way to do it if you can. That's what I did, until I absolutely couldn't hide it anymore. Good for you, still doing it in your own adorable way! Ohh... generally I always guess girl, but I'm gonna say boy this time! Are you hoping for one more than the other at all?
