Being eighteen years old and employed didn’t necessarily mean that one was in complete control of their motor skills and maintained perfect balance - Tateyama Ayano was probably the best example of this, somehow finding ways to bump into people and dropping things while she was at it. Though she was a lot more aware and conscious of her surroundings than she used to be, it was almost as if there was some kind of variant of the concept of Murphy’s Law, a theory created just for her - but this version mostly pertained to tripping and simpler acts compared to the grander scheme involving more unfortunate events of the original.
Fortunately, Ayano wasn’t carrying anything as she walked hurriedly towards her home in Mocha Valley that breezy afternoon, but she did however end up bumping into someone. Heat flooding her cheeks as her head whipped around to apologize to the stranger she walked into, it took a while for her to realize that said person was shorter and was probably years younger than her, her gaze slowly shifting downwards. Hands clenched into fists and concerned brown irises observed the other, hoping the girl wasn’t hurt. "Ah!" She exclaimed anxiously, leaning forward a little as words tumbled out of her mouth. "I’m so sorry! I think I spaced out a bit there - I’ll make it up to you if you want?"
It hadn’t been all that long since Aries finally made her move to Koi, it had been a week at most. Although she longed for it, Aries was quite unfamiliar with change. She could never recall leaving Aria, so it was safe to say that she had lived there for her entire life. Newer cities, somewhat like this one, were built around technology; something that Aries wasn’t quite familiar with thus bringing forth although more reason to break this city.
Aries wasn’t necessarily clumsy, she was actually fairly organized. Although, when she came to her senses, she would find herself on the concrete beneath. Upon hearing a very sudden apology, Aries looked up at the figure standing before her. A female who gave off somewhat of a responsible aura. If it wasn’t for the fact that Aries was the opposite of a forgiving individual, she would have accepted the apology.
She was just about to go off on Ayano until she decided that it wouldn’t do much justice. Instead of that, she wanted to do something that would surely get to the girl.
Pushing herself off of the ground, a slight laughter escaping from her lips.
“...Don’t worry about it!” Aries said as she put the best facade she could manage at the time.
