Hii, I hope you're doing well :) I just saw your post on "why "setting an intention is enough to wake up in your DR"" and your idea that dreaming = unconscious shifting. and on one hand I find myself agree but I'm also curious what lucid dreams "represent", in your opinion. because while lucid dreaming we're aware of the fact we're dreaming and can consciously influence it. or do you think it's maybe the judgement/labeling that plays a role here, as in "if you assume you're dreaming, you're dreaming. if you assume you're shifting you're shifting"?
I'd be really curious about your take on this^^
Hi anon! :)
Hope you're doing well too!
Thank you for asking this question actually, because there are a lot of misunderstandings surrounding lucid dreaming and shifting. It's definitely something I want to make a more detailed post about when I have the time. But to answer your question for now, I don't really see it as just an assumption.
I've questioned this a lot myself. It all started with one question: Why do my dreams become more vivid every time I seriously try to shift? Why do I suddenly start remembering dreams I'd completely forgotten? I actually made an entire post about this, along with several related posts. If you'd like to dive deeper into the topic, I'd definitely recommend checking this post out.
To me, there's a significant difference between a regular dream, a lucid dream, and shifting. At this point, dreams don't feel that different from reality anymore, because I've come to see this reality as a kind of dream too. Let me explain what I mean by that.
For me, it all comes down to consciousness and the subconscious. At your core, you exist as pure consciousness, pure awareness. Across every possible reality, that's the only thing I consider fundamentally real. But when you haven't fully realized that, when you haven't remembered your true nature as pure awareness, your subconscious continues to shape and direct your experience. The dreams you normally have are reflections of your subconscious. I like to think of the subconscious as a black box. In fact, just last night I had a dream that was almost lucid, and it was heavily influenced by my subconscious, so answering this question now feels especially fitting. From my perspective, before you're consciously aware of shifting, wherever your subconscious "throws" you is where you experience what you later call a dream, without consciously grounding yourself there.
This is where shifting practice changes things. To me, practicing shifting is really about remembering who you truly are, that you're pure awareness. The moment you begin realizing that, the boundaries between the different layers of your consciousness start becoming thinner. In other words, you gradually begin gaining awareness of, and eventually influence over, your subconscious. You're becoming aware of awareness. You stop seeing consciousness and the subconscious as two completely separate things.
So what does a lucid dream represent to me? I think a lucid dream represents a state where the layers of consciousness have begun to thin, but you haven't fully taken control yet. You can influence that reality to some extent, although it still feels a little hazy, and you know you'll eventually wake up (unless you choose to ground yourself there instead). The transition between a normal dream and a lucid dream is incredibly subtle too. If I don't shift while I'm lucid, I often slip right back into an ordinary dream. There's a very fine line between the two states.
And yes like you mentioned labeling absolutely plays a role. If you believe you're "just dreaming" then that's how you'll experience it. But personally, I see lucid dreaming as the stage where the layers of consciousness are becoming thinner and you're gradually beginning to take control.
To me, shifting is the point where you're consciously directing your awareness. I don't want this to be misunderstood, I'm not saying shifting is just a dream. Rather, I think we've been taught to experience reality through the lens of a subconscious that's operating automatically, without realizing our true nature. But you're much more than this single reality. Consciousness is you, and so is your subconscious. The moment you learn to consciously work with your subconscious, your experience of reality begins to change. At that point, you start realizing that what we call "reality" and what we call a "dream" may not be as fundamentally separate as we've been taught. You begin seeing dreams as realities too. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that clearly, but that's the best way I can describe it. (Interestingly, some philosophical and spiritual traditions also describe this life as a dream and suggest that death is like waking up from it)
So to me, lucid dreaming represents the gradual thinning of those layers of consciousness, the removal of one more layer, allowing you to become partially aware and partially in control. It's almost like making choices within a reality you didn't consciously choose to enter. Instead of deciding "I'm going to dream about this" you suddenly realize you're already inside the dream and begin directing what happens next.
Let me ask you something: Do you remember the exact moment you first became aware in this reality? Do you remember the precise instant you were born into consciousness here? Probably not. And you don't remember the exact moment your dreams begin either, do you?
That's exactly what I'm talking about :)
I really tried my best to explain it clearly, and I hope it made at least some sense!
And if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
A question that has been stuck in my mind when it comes to manifesting certain things in this current reality like waking up with my desired appearance, waking up with money in my closet is if those manifestations are happening instantly or if those manifestation occurs by way of one shifting to a timeline/reality where one already has what they want?
Some would say you’ll shift to a reality where you already had that particular manifestation but if that’s so, is that manifestation itself real? As in will other people in your current reality be able to see/notice the appearance change that you’ve manifested overnight since you have essentially shifted to a timeline/reality where you already have the appearance change? Is the change real or it’s just in our heads?
I know everything that we put in our awareness/consciousness is real within itself, but would others see it as real as well if they were to see you physically in real time? Even when it comes down to revising certain outcomes like death of a loved one in this current reality?
I feel like you’re really genuine and passionate about what you say and do on here, I am really hoping in receiving an honest response that’s not sugarcoated! <3
Hi anon! :)
Okay, so first of all, everything I'm about to say is entirely based on my own opinions and personal experiences, so please just take what resonates with you.
Everything comes down to your own perception of reality. What is "real" to you? How do you define reality, and how do you become aware of it?
I believe manifestations happen instantly. There isn't really such a thing as a manifestation "not existing" because everything already exists right now. The only difference is that you're either not aware of it yet or you're perceiving it differently. Think of it like a glass that's half full or half empty. You can say it's half full of water, or you can say it's half empty. Which one feels true depends entirely on what you're focusing on.
Personally, I don't see manifesting and shifting as two separate things. To me, they're essentially the same process. In fact, years ago before I even knew what shifting was, I remember learning about it for the first time and immediately saying to my friend "Then manifesting is basically shifting too" That's honestly how I've viewed it ever since. Separating them into two completely different concepts has never really made sense to me.
Waking up with your desired appearance overnight is possible. Waking up with crystal clear vision in an instant is possible too, even if it only happens in a single moment. Every action you take is already a shift in itself. Think of the butterfly effect. The fact that you chose to ask this question instead of not asking it created another version of reality, more accurately both of them exists but you chose to focus on asking. Every faster breath you take, every tiny decision you make, already corresponds to another reality. Everything already exists exactly as it is. Whether you're aware of it or not, every tiny action is constantly shifting you into another reality. (I don't know if you've seen Inception, but the moment the character realized something was different about his reality, it was because of the texture of the carpet. Everything else looked exactly the same. That's the kind of idea I'm referring to) Manifesting, to me, would be something like suddenly finding your own car waiting outside your house.
Now, there are two ways you could approach that example. You could manifest the money to buy the car, or you could manifest the car itself. Which one happens depends entirely on your own beliefs and preferences. Maybe you simply wake up and the car is yours. Maybe you win enough money to buy it. Maybe an unexpected compensation payment gives you exactly the amount you need. Maybe someone gifts it to you. There are infinitely many possible paths that all arrive at the same destination. The point isn't creating something from nothing, it's aligning with a reality where that outcome already exists.
So, to me, manifesting is essentially choosing the reality you're going to shift into. Your goal is having the car. The process of how you get the car is simply the version of reality you're aligning with. Even the idea of "this reality" isn't actually fixed. Reality changes constantly, even if it doesn't seem like it. You're continuously experiencing the version of reality you're perceiving. You've been told the average human lifespan is around eighty years. You've been taught that growing up follows a certain pattern. That's why your current experience looks the way it does. But every conscious and unconscious choice you make changes your reality. There isn't only one fixed reality, whether you're aware of that or not. Just yesterday, @hanashin and I noticed what felt like a tiny shift into a parallel reality because of a small difference in one of her posts, the only difference was that one version said "2" while another said "two" Whether or not someone interprets that the same way, moments like that remind me how our experience of reality can seem fluid. To me, reality naturally follows your thoughts and assumptions. That's also where the subconscious comes into the picture. Your subconscious determines how your manifestations unfold. Once you learn to consciously work with your subconscious, you begin shaping your own experience of reality.
So whether manifestation is "real" depends entirely on how you define reality. If reality, to you, is something fixed and unchanging, then your manifestations will unfold in ways that fit within that framework, for example, physical changes happening through events that seem logical, like eventually deciding to get cosmetic surgery. But if you no longer believe there's only one rigid reality, you'll probably start noticing that you're constantly moving through slightly different parallel realities.
As for whether the changes themselves are real, I can answer that from my own experiences. Again, it depends on what you want. If you want other people in your reality to notice those changes, they will. If you don't want them to notice, you'll naturally continue in a reality where those features have always seemed normal.
I used to be an extremely rational person (mostly denying my spiritual side actually) too, and I couldn't make sense of how sudden changes could happen. At one point, I casually started listening to subliminals without really caring much about them. Sometimes I'd listen, sometimes I'd forget about them completely. Ironically, the things I cared about the least, my skin tone and my nose, ended up changing the most. The changes were noticeable enough that other people commented on them. My grandmother constantly tells me, "You used to be so dark. I still don't understand how your skin became this light" (and funny, she calls me as snow white now) One day after I came home from university, my mom looked at me and asked, "Did you do something to your nose?" Those are the kinds of changes I'm talking about. In my reality, they became visible enough for other people to notice. But if I hadn't wanted anyone to notice, I believe I could have continued in a reality where I'd simply always looked that way from the beginning. So, to me, the change isn't just something happening inside your head. Other people experience it as real too if they're interacting with you physically.
Now, about revising death. Again, I don't see reality as a single rigid concept, it's fluid. Because of that, there are countless possible outcomes. You could manifest that the person's death was actually a misunderstanding. You could manifest that they never died in the first place. If it was an accident, you could align with a reality where the accident never happened, or where they only suffered minor injuries, or where what seemed impossible turned into a miracle. There are endless possibilities. Once again, it comes down to perception. Whoever that person is in this reality, they'll still be that same person in the reality you align with. From that perspective, while they continue living in another reality, your awareness continues there as well. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it clearly, but that's how it makes sense to me.
So the way you define your current reality completely changes how you view manifestation and shifting as a whole. My own perspective has changed over time too. I used to ask myself, "How could something like this even be possible?" But the more I questioned everything, the more every path led me back to the same conclusion: that there isn't only one fixed reality, and that at our core we are pure awareness. Every choice you make, every thought you think, aligns you with one of the realities that already exists, and your experience continues there until you eventually rediscover your true nature.
To me, then, this whole question ultimately comes down to one thing: Is your subconscious controlling you, or are you consciously learning to work with your subconscious? That's really the entire journey. If you believe your current reality is the only solid, objective reality, then naturally your manifestations will unfold according to that belief, and other people will perceive those changes within that framework too. But if you don't believe reality is limited to a single fixed version, then whether other people notice your manifestations or not simply depends on the reality you choose to experience.
I hope this was helpful, even if it might have made things a little more confusing. Like I said, these are simply the conclusions that make the most sense to me after my own research and experiences. No matter how many different perspectives I explored, I always arrived at the same place: that reality isn't singular, that we're fundamentally pure awareness, and that by learning to consciously work with that awareness, we can experience whichever reality we choose.
And thank you for saying that about my answers! I actually try very hard not to sugarcoat anything. Before I started this blog, I made one promise to myself: I would only speak honestly about things I've personally experienced, and I'd always do my best to stay objective about those experiences. Of course, you don't have to agree with my conclusions. What makes sense to me doesn't have to make sense to you, because these ideas are deeply personal and based on my own journey. I simply feel that whatever I learn is also something worth sharing, because I genuinely believe knowledge grows when it's shared. In many ways, this blog has also become a place where I continue getting to know myself. So you can trust that whenever I write something here, I'm being as honest as I know how to be.
And if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
I love the concept that I manifested you back to shiftblr hehe 🫶🏻
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING, I EAT UP EVERYTHING YOU POST !!
Hi anon! :)
You've officially made it onto my list of favorite anons!
Actually, I'm the one who should be thanking you for reading my posts! It genuinely makes me so happy knowing that something I write can help someone, even a little.
If you ever have any questions or if anything in my posts feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you for your time, and thank you for manifesting me back onto Tumblr! Sending you lots of love and positive energy, I hope you shift tonight! Consider this your sign!
I'm quite new to your page and shifting in general. So I haven't seen many posts, apologizing beforehand if you've already answered this (I haven't seen it).
Have you ever felt anxiety regarding shifting? Maybe it's just me but I happen to feel a lot. Obviously shifting is real as a phenomenon. Though I often worry a lot whether this is something happening externally or internally? I tend to worry once I shift that it's something happening in my head and that I'm only wasting my time, not making my cr better and instead just going inside my head in a make believe world. Or not spending time with actual people in my cr.
I only have one life (that I KNOW of), scares me to spend that with possible NPCs in my head (only saying NPCs because unsure whether internal/external, etc) instead of people in my cr. Though dr people could be just as real.
Sorry if it's a stupid question😅 I do have a bit of existential OCD so maybe this is just me! Just thought I'd ask an experienced shifter.
Thank you for taking your time to read the questions!<3 I hope you had an awesome birthday!
Hi anon! :)
Then welcome! Both to the shifting community and to this blog!
And trust me, there's absolutely no need to apologize. I'm always happy to explain things. In fact, thank you for pointing out that you hadn't seen a post about this topic before!
I've actually spent a lot of time thinking about this myself. Is shifting something that happens purely inside our minds, or is it something external, just like this reality? There are a few posts I'd really like you to read first. After you've gone through them, if there's anything you don't understand or anything that still confuses you, could you come back and ask me? I think they might answer at least some of your questions.
Multiverse Theory vs. Consciousness Theory of Shifting – Which One Is Accurate?
Dismissing Shifting as Maladaptive Daydreaming
Quantum Transition of Your Awareness / Psychological Phenomenon
"Hallucinations" or Maladaptive Daydreaming?
Inception
Scientific Backing
"It's All in Your Head"
Aside from those posts, I also believe it's completely possible to improve your CR while still shifting. In fact, spending all your time trying to decide between the two might end up being a bigger waste of time than simply allowing yourself to explore both.
If I had to summarize the main idea behind all of those posts tho, it would be this: I don't think the question is as simple as "Is shifting internal or external?" Personally, I think consciousness and reality are far more interconnected than we usually assume. Whether shifting is moving your awareness through an existing multiverse, experiencing reality through pure consciousness, or something we simply don't have the scientific framework to explain yet, the experience itself remains meaningful. We still know very little about consciousness, and I don't think science, spirituality, and philosophy necessarily contradict one another. To me, they all point toward the same possibility: that we are more than just our physical bodies.
At the same time, I don't claim any of this as absolute truth. These are simply the conclusions I've reached after questioning everything from as many different perspectives as I could. In the end, I think what matters most isn't proving where shifting happens, but experiencing it for yourself and deciding what makes the most sense to you.
Because of that, I don't think you have to choose between improving your CR and shifting. They're not mutually exclusive. You can build a life you genuinely love here while still exploring shifting. Even if science someday explains it differently than we currently expect, the personal growth, joy, comfort, and perspective you gained from those experiences won't suddenly disappear. That's why I don't think you're "wasting your life" by exploring it.
It's not a stupid question at all! I've spent a long time thinking about this too, so I completely understand where you're coming from. But after all my questions and all my experiences, the conclusion I always come back to is this: I am pure consciousness. Everything is a reflection of my consciousness. Shifting is just as real as this reality. And if shifting were only a dream, or something happening solely inside my mind, then this reality would also have to be just a dream. At this point, I don't really see dreams and reality as being all that different anymore.
Thank you for asking your questions, and thank you for your kindness as well! I really did have a wonderful birthday :)
If you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you for your time too, and have a lovely day!

Do you have any tips on balancing manifesting my dream life whilst still managing my current one in the meantime even if the life I want to manifest looks completely different? I’ve been in this overall journey for 4 years now and i am now 20 years old which is considered an adult to me and apart of me just feels behind because I expected to have had my dream life by now. I know I am considered an “young” adult but I don’t want to continue wasting years not living out my manifestations and my dream life whilst not really looking forward much to my current 3D life. I know the obvious answer would be to still live and enjoy my life currently in the 3D and I’ve been doing small forms of that like going on long walks, dressing up sometimes and etc. but even then there’s a limit to how fulfilled I would feel and would go right back to feeling empty and numb in my current 3D life. If I was like 40+ years old it wouldn’t hit as hard but because I am pretty young it does since I feel like I’m too young to be living the way I am living. The void state/loa and manifesting my dream life is all I literally think about 24/7. To be very honest, it’s all I really look forward to and get excited about in my day to day life and don’t know what would happen if I was to ever give up on those things and give into living my 3D life, doing what’s expected of me, going through the flow and continuing to feel numb and feel disconnected within myself. Is it delusional of me to view me using the void state/loa to manifest my dream life as my ultimate life goal/purpose or I need to stay more grounded?
Hi anon! :)
First of all, you're definitely not behind. I'm 24 myself, and if anyone here is "late" it's probably me lol. But jokes aside, I honestly don't think anyone, other than the influencers you see online who seem to have everything figured out at 20, actually knows what they want to do with their life yet. I don't even think there's such a thing as being "behind"
Everyone has a different path and different experiences, so some people figure things out at 20, while others don't until they're 30. As much as the world tries to make it feel like a race, I genuinely don't think there is one. Realizing that is important.
If this isn't the life you want to live, then you don't have to live it forever. But until your manifestations unfold, learning how to navigate your current reality can keep you from feeling stuck in the same loop. I'm saying this because I've experienced it myself. Yes, manifestations and shifts happen instantly. Once you decide, it's done. Setting your intention is enough. But I also know what it's like when your subconscious gets involved and you end up neglecting your current reality.
Years ago, I became completely obsessed with shifting. It was the only thing I wanted to do, and I ignored my CR entirely. Looking back, that really wasn't the best choice, especially during a period when I was already struggling mentally and had important exams to get through. I kept telling myself I was going to shift any day now.. and then I actually shifted maybe two years later lol. Of course, if you want to, you can always revise your outcomes too. Every possible version of you already exists right now.
After that period, I went through a huge mindset shift, especially after starting this blog. My perspective, mindset completely changed. Instead of treating my CR as something I needed to ignore, I started seeing it as a temporary side-quest reality where I simply complete missions. Everything I needed to do became something that would give me XP, help me level up, and move me closer to where I ultimately wanted to be. Once I started looking at it that way, the things happening here somehow became both less significant and more meaningful at the same time. Instead of seeing this reality as something chaining me down or something I had to escape from, I began seeing it as something I could simply experience.
I also started setting goals for myself here. Some days it's still difficult, and there are definitely times when all I want to do is lie in bed and scroll through reels. But I began treating even small tasks as steps toward my bigger goals. Replying to messages, for example, is incredibly difficult for me sometimes. But I noticed that once I replied, my mind felt much lighter, so I started doing it anyway. I studied when I needed to study. I'd throw in a few affirmations here and there, and sometimes I'd even listen to subliminals while working so I could kill two birds with one stone. That way I was completing my CR responsibilities while also feeling like I was rewarding myself by making progress toward shifting or manifesting, whatever you personally prefer to call it. It made me much more motivated, and it actually made me excited to keep trying in the following days.
Honestly, I don't think thinking about shifting/manifesting 24/7 is a bad thing, and I don't think it's delusional at all. Personally tho, I found the most peace once I found balance. So while you're manifesting, try making little lists of things you need to do. Tell yourself that once you finish a task, you'll shift. Tell yourself that after completing another task, one of your manifestations will come true. It can be something as simple as replying to one email! I'm not saying you need to spend hours working on your current reality, just enough to make your mind feel lighter.
So overall, I'd recommend seeing your CR as a place where you complete side quests, earn XP, and continue growing, you're here to experience. I think looking at it that way makes it much easier to handle the things you need to do while still leaving plenty of space for shifting/manifesting. That's the balance that worked for me.
And most importantly, know that you're not doing anything wrong. I think we've all gone through periods like this, and many of us still do. Constantly thinking about shifting isn't the problem. But if constantly thinking about it starts making you anxious or makes you feel like you're somehow doing something wrong, then maybe it's time to make the process feel a little more enjoyable. At least for me, that was what brought the biggest sense of relief, getting my responsibilities out of the way and then shifting with a clear and peaceful mind.
I hope this was able to help, even a little!
And if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
hello! i hope you’re having a great week so far. i have a question if that’s okay :)
i recently recieved two short tarot readings where i asked if i’ll ever have a physical glow-up because i just wanna be pretty and have my dream face, and while i appreciate the readings and liked the message behind it, the readings basically said that i just need to work on my confidence and dont try to make changes about my physical looks, and that i’ll basically not have a glow up in the way i want, and it just made me sad so i wanted to ask if readings are set in stone or if i can still have a glow up regardless of what they said?
i’ve recently started trying manifesting with subs but i worry that this will make me think that my desires aren’t gonna happen and i won’t change what i want
Hi B! (I guess? Omg, please let me know your name! The last time you asked, I guessed it was B, but I wasn't 100% sure) :)
Hope you're having a great week too!
Before I explain everything in detail, I just want to say one thing first: anything is possible. Anything.
Just because a tarot reading says something doesn't mean that's exactly how things have to unfold. I wanted to get that out of the way first. Now, let's get into it.
Tarot readings are highly subjective and can vary from person to person. They depend not only on the reader but also on your own subconscious. Tarot can offer guidance, but it doesn't provide absolute certainty. When circumstances change, when you change, the cards can change as well. So just because a reading suggests something right now doesn't mean you're incapable of having a physical glow up.
I don't know if you've heard of the concept of neuroplasticity before, but if you haven't, I'd really recommend looking into it. Your brain adapts to what you repeatedly believe and reinforce. If you convince yourself that the tarot reading is absolutely fixed and that you'll never glow up, then that's the reality you'll keep reinforcing for yourself. But if you recognize that tarot reflects the current state of things and that both you and your circumstances can change, then that's the reality you'll begin moving toward instead.
You also don't know how accurately the reader interpreted the cards. I'm not saying they necessarily read them incorrectly, but why place more trust in someone else's interpretation than in your own intuition? That's the point I'm trying to make. And once you become more confident, once your mindset shifts and your circumstances begin to change, the cards would naturally reflect something different too. They're not a permanent sentence. In many cases, believing a prediction without questioning it can become a self fulfilling prophecy.
As someone who's gone through one of the biggest glow ups of my own life, I can honestly tell you that it's absolutely possible. Confidence is definitely a huge part of it, but it's not the only part. Physical changes are possible too. I'm saying this because I've personally noticed visible changes in my own face over time, even things like my nose appearing smaller.
So trust me when I say that you are the one guiding your body. You influence every cell within it. Just because someone else, or a deck of cards, or anything else, says that something isn't possible right now doesn't mean it can never happen. In fact, the very fact that I'm answering your question and you're reading these words means circumstances have already changed, even if only slightly :)
There's already a version of you that has the reality you're wishing for. The only thing left is realizing that it exists. So don't let yourself spiral over this. It's completely possible to manifest the life, or even the appearance, you want. Want to wake up looking different one morning? Deal. It doesn't even have to be a long, drawn out process if you don't believe it has to be.
So, in short: you're the one in control of your body in every sense. Build your confidence because that's always a good thing, but remember that the moment you change, your circumstances have already started changing too. And when the circumstances change, so do the outcomes.
Now go get that glow up, and when everything turns out the way you wanted, come back and tell me about it! Let's celebrate it together.
And if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
Gather around! Now I'm going to explain why "setting an intention is enough to wake up in your DR" is actually easy and possible. (or simply: "go to sleep and wake up in your DR)
Okay so before I start: if you've read most of my posts, you've probably noticed that I'm a very "but why?" and "but how?" kind of person. I keep asking questions until I find an answer that satisfies me (I just really love connecting different ideas together)
If you've seen my previous post, you already know that I started thinking of dreamless sleep as an unconscious void state, dreams as unconscious shifting, and shifting itself as simply making the unconscious conscious. Honestly, that explanation has been making more and more sense to me lately.
Normally, I'm someone who uses astral projection or lucid dreaming as a method for shifting. (Or rather, whichever one naturally happens first becomes my way of shifting) Recently though, I've been going through a bit of a slump with my usual approach. However, on two separate occasions I accidentally experienced astral projection and shifting without even trying to use my method, and I only became aware of what was happening afterward. If I'm someone who usually shifts through a method, how did I suddenly experience astral projection and shifting with absolutely no method and without even intending to? (Btw you do not need a method to shift! That's actually the entire point of this post. I personally just enjoy using astral projection as a stepping stone because it makes me feel more in control, and I don't want to accidentally ground myself somewhere random. It's purely a personal preference)
I'm thinking about making a separate story time post about the shifting experience itself (It was one of the craziest things I've ever experienced.. maybe I will, maybe I won't) Since that's not what this post is about, I'll only talk about the accidental astral projection. One night I simply went to sleep and realized I was astral projecting. That was literally it. I didn't even realize I had separated from my body until afterward, I only became conscious of it later (while still out of my body ofc). Normally I'm pretty calm during astral projection, but the moment I became aware, I noticed a shadow standing over me (It sounds scary, but it really wasn't, so don't misunderstand me.) It startled me just enough that I immediately returned to my body before shifting. But that experience made me ask myself a question: What if we're already astral projecting every night without realizing it? (This idea actually exists in some spiritual teachings as well, that when we sleep, we're doing much more than simply sleeping. I distinctly remember reading about it somewhere, tho I can't remember where anymore)
Maybe every time you fall asleep, you're already experiencing your pure awareness in the void without realizing it. Maybe you're astral projecting unconsciously. Maybe you're shifting unconsciously. Accidentally projecting and only becoming aware long after leaving my body made me realize something, and I think it also answers the question: "Why is setting an intention enough?" Hopefully this creates a little click moment for those who struggle with the ideas of "you decide, you shift" and keep asking "but how?" or "but why?" I also remember someone once made a popular post suggesting something like "What if every night you shift, spend the night as your DRself while sleeping, and then simply wake up back here?" (I honestly don't remember who originally posted it, if anyone knows, please give them credit) In a way, this idea also supports that possibility.
What if your dreams are actually shiftings, but you simply label them as "dreams" because you're unconscious, and the moment you become fully aware, you fully shift? Those moments when you think, "I almost shifted.." Maybe you actually did shift and simply came right back. (Even if it happened unconsciously) This reality functions as our default reference point. (I'm not saying it's special or superior, don't get me wrong. I simply mean that this is the reality you're continuously aware of and familiar with) Maybe the reason you always come back here is because you've already been unconsciously shifting or astral projecting all along. The moment you become aware of what you've been doing unconsciously, those unconscious experiences become conscious experiences. That's why "setting an intention is enough" works no matter what. Because whether you're conscious or unconscious, you're already astral projecting, shifting, or existing in the void anyway. The moment you decide to direct your awareness toward another reality, you ground yourself there, you become aware of awareness itself.
After experiencing this, I finally understood much more clearly why methods aren't actually necessary, and why simply setting an intention can be enough. I don't think it's only about affirmations or convincing your subconscious anymore. It's also possible that every time we think we're "just sleeping" we're already doing something far beyond sleep without even realizing it.
So what I'm trying to say is this: No matter what emotional state you're in, no matter what you're thinking about, it's entirely possible to wake up in your DR simply by going to bed one night and saying "When I wake up tomorrow morning, I'll become aware in my desired reality" Because chances are, every time you're dreaming, you're already shifting or astral projecting unconsciously anyway.
Of course, this is just a theory that makes sense to me based on my own experiences. I can't say with certainty that this is how it works. But if anyone has had similar experiences or has thought about this before, I'd genuinely love to hear your perspective.
I hope this explained things clearly and maybe answered some of your "why?" and "how?" questions. Or at the very least, I hope it encouraged some of you to think about all of this a little more deeply!
What's the biggest sign your s/o has ever sent you? Mine sent me "I hope I'm a piece of the things you wish for" The moment my birthday started.
At this point, I genuinely don't know if I'm manifesting him or if he's manifesting me. 😭🧍🏻♀️
The second my birthday began, (right after this happened) I opened Youtube. I hadn't clicked on a single video yet. Literally the moment the homepage loaded, a video automatically popped up and started playing. I hadn't touched anything. It was a tarot reading, and the very first card that appeared was that message, "I hope I'm a piece of the things you wish for" The funniest part? I was so oblivious that I didn't even realize what had happened until two days after my birthday.
And as if that wasn't enough, on my birthday I was unexpectedly gifted a plushie of the animal he identifies himself with. Completely out of nowhere. It's something they normally don't give to anyone, yet they handed it to me as a birthday gift. And I was so convinced it was from him that I didn't even question it, it just felt natural.
If I ever start doubting his love, or doubting myself again, I'll come back and read this post. You're truly one of a kind.
And I think that's one of the sweetest things he could have ever done. 🤍
(Ah and as if all of that wasn't enough.. someone who literally shares his name, someone I hadn't talked to in months (I'd honestly forgotten we even knew each other 😭) randomly wished me a happy birthday too)
Okay okay.. I get it, you're officially the one who loves me the most. I surrender.
At this point, you're getting a little too creative with your signs.
And one more thing, even though orange has always been my least favorite color, for some reason it became the color I associated with turning 24 this year.
I wanted to talk about something in my shifting journey
I never shifted, and I've been trying for years now, I had some strange experiences while trying but never fully "woke up" in my dr
And yes I know that you say "but we shift every time" cuz every choice you make is a different path you take, yada yada and all those things
I get all the theory behind it but never fully got the vip package lmao
I gave up so many times and went back at it as much but now I've been taking a break for a really long time and wanted to give it a try again.
But as an overthinker I might be failing again due to my mind.
So this is why I'm reaching out.
What would you suggest if I had to start over? Like if I didn't have all the doubts I had in the past, all of the stuck moments on the wrong things.
Let's say I am new to this and want to approach with the right state of mind, do you have any tips to give? Or I shouldn't try from zero?
Because I tried everything (from meditation, to astral projection, even witchcraft and gods work (I still love Hekate as if she was my mentor but something about religion and all those intangible things feel unnatural to me))
I got to a point where I know deep in my heart when I don't believe in something because I can feel it, but I still try to accept it as if I was lying to myself.
It's not that I don't believe, it's the fact that all those negative tries kept digging in my heart and mind and so I felt it was harder and harder each time.
But even if I feel this way I'm still here.
And I don't want to feel this way so I want to start again with a different approach.
I always crave understanding but that made it worse, each time I tried to make something make sense, it didn't make sense. But still kept a fascinating attitude.
You don't need to believe in shifting in order to shift.
But I still want to make the path straight, clear, steady and not bumpy and slippery.
How could you do that if you always say "the moment you let go and stop controlling is the moment it will happen"?
At first to me shifting was a way to escape reality, hide myself in a comforting reality but that made me alienate myself from this one and I hated it, then i started to heal a part of me, I tried to find peace of mind and balance. It got better and now I'm trying to live my life.
But I'm a dreamer and I want to experience all those "what if"s.
Btw I'm just yapping at this point, you get the message.
I'm just so discouraged and I want to do it right this time.
Ps. The only bug thing that happened to me is something I manifested into this reality
In my DR i'm a concert photographer for my favorite band and few weeks ago the singer did a solo show where I live and managed to get photo pass to photograph her! After 14 years of listening to the band and dreams of taking photos of them (and trying to shift for this reason) I managed to live a glimpse of the life of my drself.
It still feels unreal.
Hi anon! :)
You’re my very first favorite anon, right? I think you were the one who sent this ask too, weren’t you? I remember the photo conversation! It’s so nice to see you here again!
I’m trying to do okay, thank you. I hope you’re doing even better than I am!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
I think instead of answering this ask all at once, I’m going to reply to it piece by piece. This time, I’m not going to tell you "but we shift every time" Instead, I want to talk a little about my own failures.
When I shifted for the very first time, it had already been six years. My first shift was to a completely random reality, and I came back before I could even ground myself because I was terrified. It felt too real. After that day, shifting became a little frightening for me. (I don't want this to be misunderstood. I'm not saying it's scary in a negative way, I'm just trying to say that once you prove to yourself how real it is, reality itself suddenly starts feeling overwhelming. I hope you know what I mean.) Because of that, I never fully woke up in another reality. Instead, I always treated astral projection as a stepping stone. Sometimes, while astral projecting, I'd randomly shift somewhere else. Other times, I'd shift through lucid dreams. But I never chose to simply open my eyes in another reality and continue living there, because I needed to feel like I was still in control. That's how I learned to manage the process. I kept experiencing shifting, but I never chose to wake up somewhere else the way I wake up here. I'm not saying this to scare anyone, I'm saying it because that's the best way I can explain how incredibly real it is. For me, opening my eyes in another reality would mean completely leaving my comfort zone behind.
What I'm really trying to say is that this journey doesn't have to be perfect. Even the things you consider "small" aren't actually small at all. The process of shifting is incredibly valuable by itself. Until you experience it for yourself, it can feel like you're holding onto an impossible dream. Yet somehow, despite all of that, you keep trying for years, and every tiny sign, every little experience becomes proof that you're getting closer. Even that alone is beautiful. You found shifting. You remembered your true self. And you're taking action, or at least trying to. Whatever you're doing, you're still trying. And that, honestly, is worth so much.
If you were someone starting from absolute zero, my advice would simply be this: enjoy the process. Don't try to make shifting perfect. Just enjoy it. The more you accept the small moments, the easier the entire journey becomes. And honestly, I wouldn't even tell you to focus on reaching your DR. I'd simply want you to prove to yourself that another reality exists. That's exactly how I did it. (If you were starting from absolute zero, I'd convince you that shifting is actually very easy and that you're already capable of doing it. That's exactly how one of my friends shifted! On her very first attempt, to her own DR! Because I convinced her she could. I kept telling her, "If you try, you'll shift so easily. You'll probably do it on your first attempt." And she did. But because I spent six years trying before I experienced my first shift, the advice I give now is different: enjoy the process. It makes the journey so much lighter.)
Sometimes we try so hard to make everything perfect that the moment it isn't perfect, even starting becomes exhausting. It turns into an obligation. At least, that's how it was for me. I couldn't even decide which reality I wanted to shift to. I couldn't properly create a DR. And honestly, I'm like this in my everyday life too. I spend so much time planning that I never start until the plan feels perfect. Then later I realize that if I had simply started instead of planning, I would've already been several steps ahead.
I don't think you need to start over from scratch. I think you just need to change your perspective. Imagine you're standing in front of a wall while wearing blinders. All you can see is the wall in front of you. But if you took just one step to the side, you'd realize there's a beautiful ocean view through the window. The only reason you think the wall is all there is, is because you've never stepped sideways.
Change your perspective. Maybe make your first goal something as simple as remembering your dreams. Or becoming aware that you're pure consciousness during the day, while brushing your teeth, breathing, reading this post.. simply noticing yourself. Or maybe your goal is seeing angel numbers like 111, finding a feather on the ground, making your dreams more vivid.. Start with the little things. Did you almost shift? Great, that's progress too! Learn to enjoy those tiny moments because they're often the things that prove nothing is ever truly a coincidence. And the more you convince yourself that they're signs, the more convincing they become.
Don't try to do everything perfectly. Shift anywhere, literally anywhere, just to prove to yourself that it's real. (You might be thinking, "I can't even shift yet, how am I supposed to shift somewhere random?" But trust me, shifting often becomes much easier when you stop caring so much. You simply need to remind yourself that you're pure consciousness. Personally, I think the easiest way to do that is by remembering your dreams and making them more vivid. At least, that's how it worked for me.) Once you're relaxed, you may realize it's much easier to end up somewhere random than to force yourself into one specific reality.
You don't have to have every answer right now. Even if you think you've tried everything, there are still things you've never tried before. There are infinite possibilities. Even the smallest change to an existing method could become your method. It doesn't have to make sense to anyone else. It only has to make sense to you.
Turn inward. Find what works for you. Sometimes the most random things happen at the most random moments. Somehow, everything always seems to happen when you're at your most relaxed and least attached. (There was actually something else I wanted to mention here, but I'm so tired that I genuinely can't remember what it was. If it comes back to me, maybe I'll add it later!)
Shifting is something you can't truly believe in until you've proven it to yourself. No matter how well you understand the concept, convincing yourself isn't always easy because it's unlike anything we've been taught. So if I could give you only one piece of advice, it would be this: shift anywhere. Don't wait until everything is perfect. Chase the little symptoms you've already experienced, and don't force yourself into everyone else's expectations. You don't have to believe completely yet, but I know what it's like to slowly lose faith because nothing seems to happen. That's why your focus should be on anything, any DR, any symptom, any experience that helps convince you. Even something as simple as seeing 111. Tell yourself "Every time I see 111, I'm one step closer to shifting" You'll eventually realize that the more you positively convince yourself, the easier believing becomes. Focus less on what's missing, and more on what's already happening.
You don't have to understand shifting if trying to understand it only makes things harder for you. For me, understanding shifting makes the process easier because I'm constantly asking myself "But why?" That's just how my mind works. But if that isn't true for you, maybe it's perfectly okay if some questions simply remain unanswered.
Shifting can be a not so easy journey if you've been holding onto certain beliefs for a long time. Ironically, if you knew absolutely nothing about it, it might've been much easier. When someone genuinely believes something is easy, they can sometimes succeed on their very first try. But if you've already been exposed to years of misinformation and conflicting opinions, maybe clearing the thorns from the path first is much less painful than forcing yourself to walk through them.
I also think people often misunderstand what "letting go" really means. Letting go doesn't mean ignoring your desire or pretending it doesn't exist. To me, it means accepting it. The moment you accept that this path can be bumpy and slippery, and realize that every "failed" experience has actually brought you one step closer, you've already let go. It's not about forcing yourself to think the opposite. It's about accepting both the positive and the negative, while remembering that the journey is much bigger than either of them.
For many people, shifting begins as a form of escape. But once you start accepting everything, it slowly transforms into something completely different. It becomes a journey where every "what if?" suddenly becomes possible.
You don't have to do it "right" You just need to find what's "right" for you.
That's why I always tell everyone to discover their own truth. The only thing that truly matters is whether it feels right to you.
If I were you, I'd choose one sign. One affirmation. Repeat it for a few days until you genuinely start believing it, and then try again. Sometimes taking a short break instead of attempting every single day actually leads to better results.
Personally, I'd use everything I've learned over the years. Every time I saw 111, I'd tell myself "I'm one step closer to shifting" Throughout the day, whenever shifting crossed my mind, I'd repeat, "With every conscious and unconscious breath I take, with every blink of my eyes, I'm shifting to the reality I've chosen" I'd keep repeating "I am pure consciousness. I am pure awareness." And while genuinely enjoying the process, I'd use every tiny symptom and every little sign as positive evidence to strengthen my own belief.
Of course, that's simply what I would do. You should always do whatever feels most natural and right for you.
And look, even this is such a huge sign already! You've already received one of the biggest signs there is! What more could you ask for? Congratulations!
I hope I managed to explain what I wanted to say properly. My birthday happened in the middle of writing this, so I ended up working on it little by little.
And as always, if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!

I wasn't even looking for anything related to my s/o. In fact, nothing about him had been showing up on my Tumblr at all. Then my birthday started.. and suddenly my For You page became nothing but him.
Coincidence? Maybe. But I'm choosing to see it as his little "I love you, happy birthday"
And honestly.. I think that's one of the sweetest birthday gifts I could've received.
Sometimes love finds tiny ways to remind you that you're connected, even when you're not looking for it 🤍
Today is my birthday, 24. From today on, I'll be living my quarter of a century, almost halfway to fifty. It's strange how a number that once felt impossibly distant can suddenly become part of your identity. When I was younger, twenty four sounded like the age of certainty. I imagined I'd have everything figured out by now. Instead, I'm sitting here writing this with tears in my eyes. And somehow.. I think that's okay. There was a time when reaching this age felt impossibly far away. Now, compared to eternity, it feels like nothing more than the tip of a fingernail. I think this post is more for myself than for anyone else. Or maybe it isn't, I don't really know. It feels incredibly emotional, but also strangely surreal.
I think I used to look forward to celebrating my birthdays. Now, they mostly make me feel a little depressed. Or maybe it's just because I'm no longer in the comfort zone I used to know, and that scares me. I'm not sure. It's just.. a strange feeling.
I had such big dreams for this age. So many different plans, at least for this reality. Some things didn't unfold the way I'd imagined, and the dream I wanted most still feels painfully out of reach. Sometimes I wonder whether I have the strength to try again. Then I remember.. Every important thing I've ever done started with trying one more time. No, I can't just revise or manifest this away because, somehow, this suffering has become my comfort zone, and I don't think I'm ready to leave it yet. Strange, isn't it?
Sometimes I feel just as lost as you do. Focusing on everything I haven't accomplished instead of everything I have is exhausting. Ironically, I can't always follow the very advice I give to others because I struggle to leave my own comfort zone. Being aware of everything and constantly using stress as motivation becomes tiring after a while. But I'm not writing this because I feel depressed. Quite the opposite. I want to celebrate my achievements this year and remind myself of everything I've accomplished. After all, I'm more than these emotions, aren't I? Don't let the gloomy tone fool you, sometimes it's simply difficult to accept certain things.
Some of my friends are getting married. Others have already carved out completely different paths for themselves. While other people measure time through promotions, weddings or moving to new cities.. Meanwhile, my path is so different that sometimes I don't even feel twenty four. I somehow measure mine through "impossible" dreams. Through languages I decided to learn. Through research papers I barely understood until I forced myself to. Through realities most people don't believe exist. Through all the versions of myself I've had to become just to keep moving forward. Sometimes I still feel like someone who's only just beginning adulthood, unsure of which road to take. Even so, I have so much to be grateful for.
A year ago today, I couldn't even celebrate my birthday. I was on my way home after graduating from university, closing an entire chapter of my life behind me. Back then, I didn't know what I wanted to do next, I only knew what I didn't want. Somehow, time passed before I even realized it. I think I spent most of my twenty third year at home. But instead of getting lost, maybe it was actually the year I found myself.
I started this blog, and I met some truly incredible people. I'm genuinely so grateful for every single one of you. Everything you've shared with me means more than you know, and thank you for choosing to share those parts of yourselves with me. I hope I've been able to make this feel like a safe place for you. Through this blog, I built wonderful friendships and experienced things I never thought I would while going through this journey. My first astral projection, my first lucid dream, my first shift, my first void state, even my first sleep paralysis, all of those happened after I started this blog. The more I shared my experiences with you, the more I realized I could actually make things happen myself. So, perhaps the biggest thank you belongs to all of you, for becoming mirrors that reflected parts of myself back to me. I truly hope I've been able to touch your lives, even just a little.
Looking back on this year, I realized that even though I'm incredibly results oriented, the things I accomplished throughout the journey matter just as much as the destination itself. The decisions I made for my own life outside of shifting, staying true to my own path without compromising who I am, refusing to give up despite everything, even when I got caught up in this world's system and questioned whether I should have chosen another path, I still kept moving forward, clawing my way through everything. Even if I rarely give myself credit for it, that alone shows how successful I've actually been. If you're anything like me and constantly downplay your own achievements, no matter what area of life they're in, please remind yourself that you are successful.
Sometimes I wonder if the person I see is the same person everyone else sees. Still, I don't always believe myself when I say that. Maybe that's because I've been looking at my life from only one perspective.
When I look at myself, I see someone who still hasn't reached the place she wanted to be. I see unfinished dreams, delayed plans, countless "not yets" I see someone who still can't shift whenever she wants, who still overthinks everything, who cries over birthdays and questions whether she's done enough with her life.
But if someone else were telling my story, I don't think that's the person they would describe.
They would probably see someone who refused to give up on a dream that most people would've abandoned years ago. Someone who kept trying even when progress felt invisible. Someone who continues writing, sharing, and showing up, even while feeling lost herself.
They wouldn't describe me as "someone who can't shift whenever she wants" They would describe me as the person who shifted at all, then came back and spent hours answering questions, reassuring others that it was real because I'd experienced it myself.
They wouldn't describe me as someone who failed. They would describe me as someone who kept trying long after success stopped feeling guaranteed.
Maybe that's the strange thing about being human. In this reality.
We spend so much time looking at everything we're missing that we become blind to everything we've already become.
Maybe I've been measuring my life by the distance left to travel, while everyone else has been noticing how far I've already come.
At twenty three, I managed to keep a blog alive consistently for the first time.
At twenty three, I gathered all my courage and chose myself and my dreams, even if it meant standing against everyone else.
At twenty three, even though things didn't end the way I wanted, I was accepted into a master's program at one of the best universities in my field. While trying to improve my third language, I gave the very first academic presentation of my life in my second language, even if it was only to a professor, and realized I could inspire people simply by speaking honestly about my goals and ambitions.
At twenty three, I told someone in a very influential position about my dreams, and people actually began working to help me achieve them.
At twenty three, I saw that I have a brother in another reality and proved shifting to myself.
At twenty three, I experienced astral projection for the first time and proved to myself that it wasn't a lie.
At twenty three, even though I felt lost, I finally remembered who I truly am.
At twenty three, I learned something I never expected. Courage rarely feels like courage while you're living it. It feels like confusion. It feels like crying. It feels like questioning every decision you've ever made. Only afterwards do you realize.. You were brave all along.
Maybe I got tired of always having to be strong, but despite everything, I still found reasons to keep trying. Leaving my comfort zone still doesn't feel easy, but I truly believe that once I finally do, everything will begin to fall into place. Even though I know I'm the one in control of my own reality, sometimes people become attached to their pain, and before turning twenty four, I've become mature enough to admit that.
I know I'll continue chasing my dreams at twenty four. But this time, I need to remember that this reality isn't the only reality that exists. That's all. There are plenty of reasons for me to stay here, but sometimes I need to stop treating rest as if it's some luxury I haven't earned. I still don't know exactly how I'll achieve everything I want, but I know that somehow I will. Maybe I don't need to obsess over how. Maybe I simply need to accept that I don't have to be perfect.
Thank you for becoming mirrors in this blog. Whether we've spoken or not, knowing that even one person can relate to what I feel somehow makes me feel less alone. That's why I'm so grateful you're here. And if you ever feel lost, even when you know everything in theory or in practice just like I sometimes do, I hope you remember that sometimes getting lost is exactly how you find your path. There will always be someone willing to listen to you.
If you ever feel trapped in this reality, the only place you've ever known, accept that it's okay to feel that way. Sometimes life becomes overwhelming. Sometimes it doesn't leave you any room to remember who you truly are. But never forget that, exactly as you are, you are already enough.
This turned into such a messy post. It wandered in every possible direction and barely resembles anything coherent. But I think this is the first time I've truly opened my heart like this. If you've read this far, thank you.
What I'm trying to say is this: the journey can be exhausting. But just because the final result isn't what you hoped for doesn't mean the entire journey was meaningless. Everyone's path is different, and you might not even know where yours truly begins yet. You don't have to have all the answers. If you've become so consumed by this reality that you've forgotten your true self, you can always remember again. If it feels like everyone else has moved forward while you've been left behind, maybe your path simply lies somewhere else. Maybe all you need is a different perspective. Maybe everything you've gone through happened just so you could remember who you really are again.
Maybe twenty three wasn't the year I built the life I dreamed of. Maybe it was the year I became the person capable of building it. And perhaps.. that's even more important.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped seeing Aria as just a name. She became the version of me who keeps choosing hope even when I'm terrified. The version of me that refuses to betray her dreams simply because reality became uncomfortable. Maybe I've been becoming her all along. Maybe that's all growing up really is. Choosing yourself over and over again. In every possible version of yourself.
Your question definitely isn't dumb at all! Actually, I really appreciate it because I truly believe that unconditional love is the only real love.
Now, if you're talking about romantic love specifically.. I might honestly be one of the last people you should ask :') I'm so career focused and such a perfectionist that the only thing I usually end up having is a situationship. But I can still share a few thoughts based on my own experiences.
Ask yourself why love isn't in your life.
Seriously.
Most of the time, not having a partner comes back to (once again) the subconscious beliefs we're carrying.
To use myself as an example, I don't have a relationship because, deep down, I don't want something that feels binding. My career goals are incredibly clear to me. I know exactly what I want, and I already have a plan for the next ten years of my life. Because of that, anyone who enters my life would have to support that path rather than hold me back, and honestly, I feel like that would almost be unfair to them. So, at this stage of my life, having a romantic relationship simply isn't my priority.
Ask yourself the same question. While you're in a meditative state, ask yourself:
"Why isn't love in my life?"
"What can I do to invite love into my life?"
"How can I make that happen?"
And most importantly, give yourself permission to receive it.
I've explained the process in more detail in another post, but the same method (finding the core belief) can be applied to almost any area of life.
One of the manifestation techniques I hear about most often is scripting your ideal partner. People write down every detail they can imagine: Do you want them to have brown hair? Colored eyes? To be generous? What career do they have? What's their personality like? They write everything out in detail and keep it somewhere.
I don't remember the exact method or where I originally saw it (it might've been Sammy Ingram, but I'm not completely sure), so I can't confidently point you to the original source. But if you search for scripting methods for manifesting your ideal partner, I'm sure you'll come across something similar!
Honestly, you might even get a better answer by asking @binniemyluvv They literally manifested someone who's almost exactly like their s/o!
Like I said, I probably won't have the absolute best advice when it comes to romantic relationships. To me, manifesting love isn't really that different from manifesting anything else. But I do think finding the root cause of why you believe love isn't present in your life makes the whole process much easier.
The biggest thing I've learned about love is this:
The more you love yourself, value yourself, and genuinely put your own self worth first, the more people who love and value you naturally begin to enter your life, whether that's romantic love, friendship, family, or any other kind of connection.
Because when your subconscious is the one running the show, whatever it believes about you is exactly what other people tend to reflect back to you. When you begin expressing yourself freely and authentically, life starts bringing you people who naturally validate and appreciate the version of yourself you're finally allowing to exist.
Everything is an experience, everything is a lesson. And every single one of those experiences exists so that you can eventually arrive at that love within yourself and fully accept it.
I don't know if I completely answered your question, but if you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
One of the most absurd things has happened to me again, and I absolutely have to share it here.
First of all, don't forget that the night between July 29th and July 30th is considered a very lucky one! So go make all your favorite manifestations and go shift!
Now, let me tell you what happened.
Do you guys remember the post where I talked about instantly feeling connected to someone and immediately thinking "Yeap.. that's definitely me in another reality"?
First, let me tell you about the first sign.
A few days ago, I asked for a sign. (Not for shifting, this was for something completely different) I specifically asked to see angel wings, but because angel wings are something you can find almost anywhere, I wanted something much more specific: white angel wings with black spots. I'd never seen wings like that before.
Anyway, when I woke up the next morning, the very first thing I saw was this picture, and I was just like..
What?
There she was, another version of me from another reality, standing there with white angel wings covered in black spots.
I accepted it as my sign.. but honestly, I didn't think much of it afterward.
(Btw, I've always believed China has an incredibly deep spiritual history. For some reason, it's always been a place that has "drawn" me in. The girl I'm talking about is Chinese, which is why I'm mentioning it. Also, shout out to my favorite Chinese person ever! @hanashin could you please teach me Chinese one day? I genuinely want it to be my fourth language lol I promise I'm a quick learner)
Today, Xiaoting released her first solo album, or maybe just the title track, I'm honestly not sure. To be completely honest, I wasn't even keeping up with Xiaoting or the group. They're not people I actively follow, which honestly makes this even weirder.
And do you know what the lyrics say?
"Know what you give's what you get,我想要的 clear in my head,So every day I manifest"
(I have no idea what the Chinese part says, but the moment I saw "So every day I manifest" part you should've seen my face 😭)
The lyrics also include:
"I'm a legend,What I want, I get it,I'm a boss, I set it..
I'm a, I'm a,"
I was just sitting there like..
What?
And I'm pretty sure she released this during the full moon knowing exactly what she was doing.
The "I am" affirmations, "I manifest" "What I want, I get"
This is literally the kind of song I'd release if I were an idol in another reality 😭
I was genuinely shocked. It felt so obvious. But at the same time, it's kind of funny how we're constantly bombarding ourselves with signs.
I wanted to share this little story because I hope it reminds you that even in your cr, everything is connected, and anything feels possible once you tune into that frequency.
What's even funnier is that before any of this happened, I remember thinking:
"If I were an idol like her, I'd absolutely release a song full of manifestation and frequency references so my fans would start wondering whether I was into manifestation and shifting too" 😭
I absolutely love how everything unfolds in the funniest and most interconnected ways.
I literally thought about that a few days before her release and even told myself "Let's check her lyrics when the song comes out. I have a feeling they're either meant for me or they're going to give me some kind of sign"
But I definitely didn't expect the sign to be that obvious or that fast.
So.. Seems like I'm an idol in another reality.
I honestly love how life works in the funniest ways possible.
Oh, and one more thing.
A few days ago, because I was still wondering whether Xiaoting really could be "me" in another reality, I decided to watch a few of her vlogs.
There's this room I've always imagined for one of my DRs. The thing is.. it's ridiculously small and almost empty. I never understood why I kept picturing the exact same room over and over again because, honestly, it's such a random, simple room. (This is the second room I get this vision for another reality btw)
Anyway, while watching one of her vlogs, I realized Xiaoting's room is literally the same room.
The position of the door. The position of the bed.
Everything.
The only differences are that hers has a bunk bed and there are clothes absolutely everywhere. (In my DR I live alone, so mine doesn't)
It was incredibly weird.. But somehow I wasn't even surprised. It felt strangely natural (Which honestly explains why my DR self apparently has all that money but still lives in such a tiny room 😭)
Then there was another event where they had to sell some of their belongings, kind of like a second hand sale. Xiaoting couldn't find anything to sell because she kept saying "But what if I need this later?"
And I was just sitting there thinking, "That's literally me."
I can never throw away or sell any of my things either. Something happened involving a Kuromi plushie too, but I'm going to keep that story to myself.
So my conclusion is: She's literally just like me. Actually, she's literally me.
So anyway.. Today's the day!! Go shift. Take these signs as motivation. Everything is possible, even in this reality. Go live the life you want today.
Because apparently, somewhere out there, I even have an idol version of myself.

HEY!
so i just had 2 questions to ask you:
1. When you see researchers dismissing shifting as malapadative daydreaming does it make you upset, or are you indifferent to it? and do you get a feeling that they might be right and that after death we all cease to have any consciouness at all?
2. do u believe in the concept of enligtenment? like do u think we might escape this cycle of life and rebirth?
Ty for your time:)
Oh my goodness, I LOVE this question!! (read with Lola Tung's voice)
Hi anon! :)
First of all, thank you so much for asking this question!
Second of all.. fasten your seatbelts, because I'm probably about to start from the beginning of the universe lol So this might, no, it will be a very long answer. (It took me about three days to finish writing this, and now that I'm finally done.. I think this might actually be the longest answer I've ever written. There was still so much more I wanted to say, but I didn't want to make it even longer. If anything feels unclear, if you think I didn't answer part of your question, or if you're left with more questions afterward, please don't hesitate to ask again!)
Instead of answering your questions one by one, I think I'm going to blend them together a little. (I'm almost certain I'll go off on a bunch of tangents along the way, so please bear with me! I just hope that by the end of this post, you'll be able to see things from the perspective I want to share with you. And I promise it'll all come together in the end!)
First of all, I have to say that this doesn't really make me sad, it makes me question things. And honestly, I think questioning is one of the best things you can do because it allows you to approach things from different angles and perspectives.
There's something I've always believed: if there's a thesis, there has to be an antithesis. Nothing in the universe exists without its opposite. Because in order to understand what "good" is, you first have to understand "bad" How could you know something is good if you've never experienced its opposite?
That's also why I like challenging my own beliefs. When I'm able to argue against my own ideas and they still hold up, that's when they start making sense to me.
Now I want you to imagine that you're God. Anything you can imagine becomes reality. Time, space, creation.. everything is entirely in your hands. Every dream you have instantly comes true. You can experience anything you want. You can become anyone you want. At first, you'd probably chase your desires. In one dream, you'd taste every delicious meal imaginable. In another, you'd experience the greatest love. You'd create music no human has ever heard before. Maybe you'd even create angels who worship you, and you'd continue like that for what feels like forever. But eventually.. you'd get bored. You'd want excitement. So this time, you'd create beings capable of opposing you, demons, devils, dragons.. They could never truly harm you, but they'd create the feeling of risk. Because you're God. You'd want to experience everything. You'd want to know who you are in the face of danger. And eventually, you'd say, "I'm going to have a dream so convincing that I'll forget I'm God. I'll even forget I'm dreaming. I'll become completely immersed in the experience and feel like an ordinary being." So you enter that dream. You experience pain as if it's real. Love. Loneliness. Struggle. Joy. Loss. And then one day.. you remember who you are. Can you imagine the shock? At first, you'd think you'd discovered your creator. You'd fall in love with them. But eventually, you'd realize there was never a lover and a beloved. There were never two separate beings. There was only you. And perhaps.. that would be the greatest experience you could ever have. (This part was inspired by Alan Watts' "The Dream of God" concept. I originally came across a version of it on Instagram, but unfortunately I don't remember the account, so I can't properly credit them.)
Now I want you to imagine something else.
I want you to imagine something that has never existed. Anything at all. Can you? Whatever comes to your mind has most likely crossed someone else's mind too. No matter how absurd or impossible you think your idea is, I'm almost certain someone, somewhere, has imagined the same thing. And I think that's interesting. Because maybe it means that we don't actually create ideas out of absolute nothingness. Maybe the things we think we're inventing already exist in some form. Otherwise.. how could we even imagine them in the first place?
Have you ever noticed how we all seem to go through the same experiences?
Like being afraid that a fishing hook might somehow fly into your eye while someone is fishing. Or those weird dreams you had as a child whenever you had a fever, where objects would suddenly become enormous or tiny. (I actually saw a video about this recently, and the moment I watched it, I remembered experiencing exactly the same thing as a kid!) Almost everyone grows up having incredibly similar childhood experiences, from physical ones to emotional ones. Making little forts by pushing chairs or couches together because they somehow made you feel safe. Drawing on the walls (or at least desperately wanting to because nobody would let you). Trying to keep the light switch exactly in the middle. Making a circle with your hand just to watch water flow through it. Stirring your soup and then suddenly changing directions for absolutely no reason. And so many other little things.
And what's even more interesting is that these were things people did long before technology connected us all.
Let me tell you another little secret. Thousands of years ago, your ancestors also slept in tents they built with their own hands. They left drawings on cave walls that survived until today.
So how is it that even in times when communication was incredibly limited, people still seemed to have almost identical experiences?
Honestly, all of this makes me think there's something like a collective consciousness.
And if that's true.. then maybe we've already known everything all along.
Personally, I believe we're all born already carrying every piece of knowledge we'll ever need. I believe in reincarnation, but even if you don't, it's hard to deny genetic inheritance. In a way, every child is the continuation of those who came before them. Whether consciously or unconsciously, they carry fragments of their ancestors' experiences. Have you ever noticed how sometimes you ask yourself a question and somehow already know the answer? Or how, when you're reading someone's energy, whether through tarot or any other spiritual practice, you somehow receive answers about them too?
Maybe that's because, at your core, you were never truly separate from them.
No matter how much we're taught to forget, that awareness underneath never actually disappears. And because of that, I think we already hold the answers to every question somewhere within ourselves.
Have you ever wondered why people always say children are "pure"?
I think it's because they exist as pure consciousness before they're fully programmed by their subconscious beliefs. Only later, when those subconscious beliefs begin shaping the way they perceive reality, does the cycle begin, the journey of remembering who they really are. That's why I think children's experiences are so important. Whenever a child asks one of those random "What if..?" questions, I honestly think there's a chance they're asking about something they already know on some level :) A few days ago, I came across a video of what looked like an eight or nine year old girl. She said, "What if the reason we feel tired even when we haven't done anything is because another version of us in a parallel universe is exhausted?"
Well.. :)
How does a child grasp the idea of parallel universes so naturally and explain it so effortlessly?
There's another example I'd love to mention, but I think it'd be more fun if you looked into it yourself. I don't want to spoil everything, right?
If you search for "the Syrian child from the Golan Heights reincarnation" I think you'll find the story I'm talking about. (And if you can't find it, then you can always ask me and I'll gladly tell you about it!) I first read it years ago in Trutz Hardo's "Children Who Have Lived Before", and honestly.. it left such a strong impression on me that I still remember it to this day.
How do we dream? Normally, our brains process electrical signals, right? Technically speaking, light has to enter our eyes, those signals get processed, and our brain turns them into what we perceive as reality. So.. when your eyes are closed, how are you still able to imagine things? How are you still able to see entire worlds in your dreams?
We've also been taught that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it only transforms. And if you look at most religions, you'll notice they all share a similar idea: the soul is eternal. Whether it's heaven or hell, the one constant is simply existing. (We always think like we talk about different things with different names, but the core idea always remains the same.)
If energy can't be created from nothing or disappear into nothing, then any existing energy must simply transform into something else, right? Even the atoms in your own body aren't actually touching each other. In fact, technically speaking, you aren't truly "touching" anything at all. What feels solid is mostly empty space held together by electromagnetic forces.
So in a way, isn't that another reminder that we're fundamentally vibration? That matter isn't quite as solid as it first appears?
Now I want you to try something for a while. Repeat to yourself: "I am pure consciousness" and "I am pure awareness"
And while you're going about your day, simply notice. Notice yourself breathing. Notice yourself reading these words. Notice yourself blinking. Notice yourself brushing your teeth. Notice every tiny action. After a while, you'll begin to feel as if you're observing everything from somewhere behind your own mind, as if you're simply watching.
And that's exactly the point.
I'd also really recommend looking into Plato's Allegory of the Cave, Schrödinger's Cat, and especially the Double-Slit Experiment. (I think I've talked about some of these in previous asks, I'm not sure I'll ever find those posts again tho)
The deeper you go into these topics, the more you'll realize that you've probably already known the answers to many of the questions you're asking. (And maybe.. asking this question wasn't a coincidence either :) )
Recently, there has also been a lot of discussion about a woman who experienced a coma, I don't know if you've heard about her. While she was in a coma, she described living an entirely different life where she had a spouse and children. If you're curious, you can look up Clélia Verdier coma and read about her experience yourself.
Now let me ask you something. How do you know you're dreaming? Dreams don't really have a beginning or an end, do they? You simply find yourself somewhere, and everything unfolds from there. Try remembering the very beginning of any dream you've ever had. Now try remembering the exact moment you were born. Or even the exact moment your awareness arrived (?) in this reality. You know what I'm trying to say, don't you? :)
So far I've mostly talked about the more "imaginative" side of this discussion.
Let's call that the thesis of the story.
But if everything in the universe exists alongside its opposite, then naturally there has to be an antithesis too. (And don't worry, I'm even going to question the antithesis itself. Hopefully this becomes more clarifying than confusing)
So..
Could all of this simply be something happening entirely inside our minds? Could it all just be something like maladaptive daydreaming/lucid dreaming?
Well..
In this life, anything is possible.
If we approach it purely from a rational perspective, maybe someone with an extraordinarily vivid imagination could create an experience that feels incredibly real. At least, with the evidence we currently have, we can't completely rule that possibility out.
BUT
According to my own experiences, there's a HUGE difference between simply imagining something and actually shifting. When I first started this blog, I made a promise to myself that I would never write about or recommend anything I hadn't personally experienced. And after experiencing astral projection, lucid dreaming, and shifting, what I realized is that they're all completely different experiences.
For one thing, maladaptive daydreaming comes with its own symptoms even in this reality, things like talking to yourself, from what I've researched at least. Shifting, on the other hand, is something you can do even while this body remains fully awake. If shifting were only possible while sleeping, then yes, I probably would've said it was just a dream. And I think @masoncantthinkofaname talks about this really well! They're especially experienced when it comes to awake shifting.
So if we look at shifting through the lens of maladaptive daydreaming, then we've already arrived at the antithesis of the antithesis.
But what if we push that antithesis even further?
How do you know someone is actually "crazy"? Are the people we call crazy really crazy? And if I told you I don't think they're crazy at all.. would that make me the crazy one? Or would it simply mean that maybe our definition of "crazy" isn't as absolute as we think?
Now let's bring brain chemistry into the discussion.
A while ago, I watched a video where someone claimed that their brain activity actually changed whenever they shifted. More specifically, the signals their brain was producing were different. Of course, this was only one person, so for this to mean anything scientifically we'd need much larger sample sizes, proper control groups, and much more data. But let's stick with this one example for now.
If I remember correctly, they were measuring it with a smartwatch. Whenever they shifted, the data looked different from when they were simply asleep. Back then, it made me wonder, "Could shifting actually just be a more advanced version of maladaptive daydreaming.. or maybe lucid dreaming?"
But then I realized.. that idea itself had another antithesis.
Why do certain brain states make shifting easier in the first place? What's the common denominator?
Because if shifting were really nothing more than something happening entirely inside your imagination, then shouldn't you be able to do it instantly, regardless of your brain state? Just as easily as I could ask you to imagine yourself riding a pink winged elephant across the ocean.
But interestingly enough, shifting, and many other spiritual experiences like the void state or astral projection, most commonly occur during theta brainwave states.
See? Once again, we're talking about energy and frequency.
(I want to make a small note here before anyone misunderstands me. I absolutely believe it's possible to shift at any moment and in any brain state. However, most people seem to find it much easier through theta based states and methods because becoming aware of yourself as pure consciousness is simply easier there. I hope that makes sense.)
So..
What exactly is the theta state? Why is it so important?
Vibration.
Everything is vibration.
The significance of the theta state is that it's the moment you remember that you're pure consciousness. It's the point where your body begins to relax completely and your awareness starts drifting toward sleep. That space between being awake and asleep, when you're in theta, is the moment you remember your true nature. Why? Because your human shell, your body, is beginning to shut down. The moment you let it "power off" you remember that you're far more than this physical body.
So, to summarize everything we've talked about so far: could scientists be right? Could it be that after death, there's simply nothing, no consciousness, no continuation? Yes. That's absolutely a possibility.
But if everything has both a thesis and an antithesis, and if everything exists in constant cycles of transformation, then it's also possible that we're continuously becoming something else. That's a possibility too.
Oh and I want to mention one more example.
For a long time, I wondered whether neurodivergent people, those with ADHD, for example, might simply perceive reality through a different lens. I don't mean "special" in the sense of being superior, just.. different. I remember thinking there might even be a spiritual connection worth exploring. Then, after I had that thought, I realized other people had wondered the exact same thing. It almost felt as though I wasn't discovering the idea, I was remembering it.
What if the people society labels as "different" are actually the ones who are closest to what's normal?
(And just to be clear, absolutely no offense intended. I don't think neurodivergent people are "crazy" nor do I think anyone is. I'm only using that wording because society has historically treated them as outsiders)
But who gets to define what's "normal" anyway?
What if these people simply think more deeply than the rest of us? What if, in trying to suppress spirituality or our true nature, we've accidentally normalized what's unnatural and labeled what's natural as abnormal?
So whenever I come across scientific skepticism, I don't see it as something discouraging. I see it as an opportunity to build an antithesis, to explore another perspective. Rather than upsetting me, it actually excites me because it opens the door to new ways of thinking.
In many ways, I approach these questions like a scientist myself. But I think the real beauty lies in being able to bring both perspectives together. Because even from a scientific point of view, if we are ultimately forms of energy, and energy can never truly disappear, then that means we, too, must transform into something else.
Even if it's simply as atoms. As soil. As nitrogen. And what if, purely from a statistical standpoint, those atoms that once belonged to a human body eventually came together again?
What if every single particle that once made up someone dispersed throughout the universe, only to someday reunite into another complete human body?
Well.. :)
When it comes to enlightenment, I think I see it a little differently than most people. To me, it isn't about becoming some chosen one or reaching the level of an enlightened guru. I think enlightenment is entirely experiential.
Let me explain what I mean by that.
If you look at most religions, you'll notice they constantly talk about heaven and hell. Good people are associated with love, while bad people are defined by the qualities we consider negative. Ever since I was a child, one question never left my mind:
"Why would God want to punish us?"
If I don't believe in God but genuinely try to be a good person, would I really deserve hell simply because I didn't believe? Meanwhile, someone who believes in God but spends their life hurting others would deserve heaven?
That never made sense to me.
Of course, people later introduced ideas like the seven levels of heaven and the seven levels of hell, saying they're not all the same and that everything depends on different circumstances. Because of questions like these, I used to seem secular around religious people and religious around secular people. Now.. I think I'm simply philosophical around everyone lol
At this point, I'd like to talk a little more about regression and reincarnation.
The religion I was born into doesn't teach reincarnation, yet I've believed in it for as long as I can remember. (Tho, interestingly enough, some people argue that reincarnation can be found within those traditions too. Even religions are open to interpretation)
When I experienced a regression session, you can think of it as a past life meditation, although mine was much more in depth, I saw myself being killed in one of those lives.
Up until that moment, I genuinely believed I was just making the images up. But then, without me telling her anything, the practitioner suddenly said "I felt that you were murdered."
That was the moment I realized.. maybe I hadn't been inventing it after all. And I think that experience became one of the strongest foundations for my belief in a collective consciousness. (After claiming myself crazy and after accepting my spiritual side for sure)
In my opinion, everything is already recorded in our cellular memory. (I mean, scientists can make lab grown neurons learn to play games, so what more proof do we need that cells can learn?) Cells genuinely retain information. And if you carry the cellular memory of your ancestors, then, in a way, you also carry fragments of their experiences. Their fears, their knowledge, their patterns. Whether you interpret reincarnation as inherited cellular memory or as your own consciousness returning in another life, reincarnation can be seen as "real" from multiple perspectives.
Personally, I lean more toward the idea of actually returning to life. The main reason for that is the concept of judgment. Going back to the question I asked earlier: How does God punish anyone? Or.. are we simply trapped in a cycle?
Now, everything I'm about to say reflects my personal beliefs and interpretations (to be fair, this entire post does tho). Imagine you come into this world without believing in any religion, or maybe you're born into a terrible environment. That immediately raises another question: if we all begin with completely different circumstances, how could we possibly be judged by the exact same standard?
Even in the worst possible environment, you always have a choice. You can continue down a destructive path, or you can recognize the opportunities to become a kinder, better person. Ultimately, your choices are still yours.
And I truly believe nothing happens without a reason. Every experience you have, whether you call it good or bad, is ultimately leading you back to remembering your true nature as pure consciousness.
To me, the real purpose is recognizing why darkness exists so you can consciously choose light. Of course, even those definitions change from person to person. I honestly think of life almost like leveling up in a game. (I feel like I'm struggling to explain this properly, but hopefully it makes sense.) After all, many traditions describe seven levels of heaven and seven levels of hell, whether that's literally true or symbolic.
Because of that, when your life comes to an end, I don't believe someone else judges you. I think you're the one who judges yourself. In a sense, we're already experiencing both heaven and hell here on Earth, and we're the ones creating both of them.
I also believe we choose where we're born and who our families are, as difficult as that idea can be to accept. As painful as it sounds, even the life you sometimes wish you hadn't lived may have been a choice you made before coming here.
Think of it like writing a shifting script. Don't you sometimes include hardships or emotional struggles to make the story feel more meaningful and “realistic”? Who's to say that, before you learned about shifting, you didn't intentionally choose this reality? Who's to say you didn't script that you would forget shifting entirely once you got here?
Anyway, my point is that your experiences shape you, and in the end, you're the one deciding where you stand. If you haven't yet reached what could be called the highest level of heaven, perhaps you simply return for another lesson. You're your own judge.
I've actually had this idea for a very long time, but I was surprised when I later discovered other people had independently come to the same conclusion.
To me, Nirvana represents that highest state, the seventh level, complete unity with God, source, or universal consciousness. (Interestingly, in theta healing, everything is also said to happen on the seventh plane) It's that state of unconditional love where separation disappears.
The deepest level of hell, on the other hand, could be understood as complete emptiness, isolation, or the illusion of separation. A place where you're essentially punishing yourself.
Again, it's another example of the thesis and antithesis existing together. They're not actually separate from one another.
(A little side note: our bodies are also said to contain seven chakras. And honestly.. is it really possible that all of these recurring patterns are just coincidences? The crown chakra, located at the top of your head, is traditionally associated with divine consciousness and source, while the root chakra represents grounding and attachment to the physical world. Many spiritual traditions suggest that the more attached we become to material reality, the further we drift from our connection to the divine. Of course, that's a huge topic on its own, and if I started explaining chakras in detail, this answer would probably turn into an entire book)
Now, I think this is exactly where breaking the rebirt-life cycle happens. The moment you truly realize that you are pure consciousness, you break the entire code. Every experience you've ever had, every question you've ever asked, ultimately leads you to one single point: pure consciousness.
The moment you understand and experience yourself as pure consciousness, I believe the cycle breaks. That's where the idea of quantum immortality comes into play. You realize that you exist as pure energy. Of course, unless at some point you decide that you want to return here and begin the cycle all over again.
Some people say shifting isn't spiritual, but to me, it's one of the experiences that brings you closest to what many traditions call "nirvana". The moment you recognize yourself as pure consciousness, you're technically able to experience other lives and finally discover how to use your true nature.
You are not separate from God or the universe, and neither is the universe or God separate from you. (Whatever you believe, I mean. If you don’t even believe in God, you’re not seperated from the consciousness too) If God is an ocean, then you are one of its drops. Everything exists through its opposite, and through the opposite of its opposite, creating an endless cycle. Even the ending of this post circles back to the beginning, just like the "imagine you're God" story I mentioned earlier.
At the same time, I also believe that people experience what they believe. My truth is true for me. What someone else considers false may be true for me, and what I consider false may be true for someone else. That's entirely shaped by our previous experiences and everything we've carried with us. The realities we experience are built upon our own truths and beliefs. But I think the ultimate purpose is always the same: reaching the truth. One essence. One destination. The realization that you are pure consciousness.
This is what I believe. Since these are my truths, they are my reality. If you believe something different, then that's your reality. And after death, I believe you'll experience whatever you truly believe in. If you believe you'll go to heaven, you'll experience heaven. If you believe in hell, then hell. If you believe you'll reincarnate, then you'll reincarnate. And if you truly wish for nothingness, then you'll experience nothingness.
No concept of God has ever truly disappeared. Whether you call it the Universe, God, Allah, Goddess, or anything else, I don't believe they're separate from one another. And you're not separate from them either. If there's a cycle, you have the power to end it. If there isn't one, then you have the power to create it. Deep down, I believe everyone is referring to the same source. That's simply where I've arrived. But if you believe they're all different, then for you, they are different. In the end, you'll experience reality through the beliefs you hold.
That said, I don't want any of this to come across as if I'm claiming to know the absolute truth. These are simply the conclusions that make sense to me based on my own experiences and personal beliefs. They're the answers I arrived at after connecting the dots. If anything, the only thing I truly know is that I know nothing. And there's still so much I want to learn.
In the end, all of my experiences have led me toward believing in a collective consciousness. Especially because of how we all seem to share incredibly similar experiences, how unknown things somehow become known, and even because some people can perceive future events, including myself. Could death simply be an endless void? Maybe. Even though it doesn't feel like the most convincing explanation to me, it honestly doesn't scare me anymore. After experiencing the void state and existing without form, even the idea of nothingness feels peaceful.
So, to sum everything up, I believe we'll all become one consciousness without ever becoming unconscious, unless that's what we truly choose. Whatever cycle we want to experience is the one we'll experience.
To me, enlightenment exists only to the extent that you allow yourself to experience it. And the moment you become enlightened, the entire cycle breaks.
Thank you so much for asking this question.
I feel like there were a few parts where my thoughts got a little messy. When I reread them, there were moments where even I thought "What exactly was I trying to say here?" But I still hope that, even if it isn't perfectly clear, it gives you a new perspective and encourages you to question things for yourself.
If you ever have more questions or if something feels unclear, don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you for your time too, and have a lovely day!
