°ââ.àłàż*:what changed â and how I finally made REAL progress (shifted) in my shifting journey after 5 years (and what you can do too)
If youâve read my other posts, you probably know that I finally experienced a mini-shift (I donât really like calling it that because I knew it was a real shift, I just didnât ground myself there, so.. letâs call it a mini one) and my first lucid dream.
I didnât want to write this post until Iâd actually experienced something myself, so that I could explain everything honestly, from my perspective.
After seeing some of my mutuals posting about âwhat did you guys do to shift,â I wanted to share my journey.
Iâm sure youâve read a million posts like this before, about how to shift, what methods to use, what subliminals help, blah blah blah, or youâve caught yourself thinking: âEveryoneâs doing it, so what am I doing wrong?â
Hear me out, thereâs no wrong or right way. Thatâs the whole point.
If you still think what youâre doing is wrong, of course youâre not going to shift (which isnât even true, because technically youâre shifting every second with every choice you make).
Because if you keep questioning whether youâre doing the method âcorrectly,â youâll stay stuck in that loop forever. (until you believe you did the method %100 right)
Up until a few days ago, I hadnât been able to truly prove shifting to myself, and Iâd reached a point where I started doubting its reality.
And believe me, Iâve been spiritual literally my whole life. I believe in the "impossible". But even then, I started doubting myself, even when I was getting symptoms. (And nobody can makes you completely believe shifting is real, not until you experience yourself)
And that same night, after receiving messages and synchronicities all day long, I finally astral projected and shifted.
I was done. Exhausted. But not because I couldnât reach my DR, because I was doubting something I already knew was real.
Until that night, I was trying to shift on and off, sometimes not even trying at all. I tried every method out there, just like you probably did. But I finally shifted with the method that felt the most comfortable for me.
The symptoms.. whether during meditation or lying down, I used to focus only on them. Like âomg I got symptoms!! I might be shifting!!â But whenever I focused on the symptoms, Iâd end up right back here.
So for a while, instead of trying to shift, I reminded myself that this reality isnât real. (I know it's real but you know what I mean right? I'm more than this reality) When I was lying down, Iâd tell myself: "Okay, this bed isnât real. These sheets arenât real. This room isnât real. These sounds arenât real.â And I always repeated the affirmation âI am pure consciousnessâ not to shift, but to experience the void state itself.
That desperate need to shift, I think thatâs another thing that needs healing (at least was for me)
Why do you want to shift?
Just to be with your s/o in your DR?
To tell others you did it?
It could be for any reason, and thatâs fine, everyoneâs journey is different.
But I was so focused on my DR and other peopleâs stories that I didnât even realize I wanted to shift for myself. Because from the very beginning, I believed shifting was a spiritual journey. For me, it wasnât just âanother existing universeâ it was a process that helped me make sense of my own spiritual growth. Thatâs why I think understanding what shifting means to you personally is so important.
Of course, you can shift even without understanding that, you can be obsessive, you can do it for any reason, because there are no limits. The only limit is you. But for me, realizing this awareness made the process so much easier. Understanding the perspective I was coming from, why I wanted it, that changed everything.
And the moment I started focusing on the process instead of the outcome, thatâs when it happened. That day, I shifted, and the next day, I had my first lucid dream. A few days earlier, I wouldâve said, âI canât lucid dreamâ I wouldnât even have tried. But it happened. Naturally.
So what Iâm saying is, this is a personal journey, a process. No one defines whatâs right or wrong. Even ârealityâ itself is subjective, what feels right to you might be wrong to someone else.
And ego.. Even though I havenât completely gotten rid of it, I've learned to let it go. Jealousy, negative thoughts, they were all part of me, and I accepted them before releasing them.
You know that feeling when your s/o is someone elseâs s/o too and you get jealous? Yeah, I've been there. I still sometimes feel that way and itâs okay, itâs part of this realityâs nature.
Why was I feeling that jealousy? Because everything exists with its opposite. At least, thatâs what I believe.
If I hadnât gone through all those negative emotions, I probably wouldnât have found shifting in the first place iykyk.
I was jealous because I was afraid of losing him, because I wanted to show my love to my s/o so badly. And honestly, that was okay too. I accepted it.
Because I realized it was never about him, it was always about me.
You canât lose someone who is you. Because we are one.
Because he was always going to be real for me, just as much as he is real for others.
It's all about perspective.
So, letting go of ego was a big step for me too.
When I finally stopped chasing symptoms,
when I let external sounds just flow,
when I stopped thinking âif I move, Iâll lose focus and fail,â
when I trusted the process and allowed myself to do what felt right for me, thatâs when I did it.
Thatâs when I proved to myself that shifting is real.
Maybe you need to focus more on the process instead of the result. Or maybe you need to focus more on the result instead of the process. Either way, what matters is you, and your journey.
And honestly? This is the best feeling ever.
Sometimes we romanticize the idea of shifting so much that we actually miss the real experience. Or trying to make it perfect. Or we get so attached to our DR that we donât even allow ourselves to shift into a random one, just to prove itâs real.
Let it be imperfect.
Let it be some random place.
Let it be messed up.
Yes, my first shift was to a random place, and honestly, itâs so much better that way.
Because now I know itâs real.
And I know my DR self is waiting for me, patiently, to live my life there.
So, find yourself.
Find what shifting truly means for you.
Thereâs no right or wrong.
You are so much more than this body, and the only ârightâ thing you can ever be is yourself.
I hope this helps, even a little! Thank you for reading! đ„čđ«¶
