Hey there everyone. Due to time constraints, I’m unable to manage my blogs (which became too many in number, I mean, three in number). I feel like I’m not active in either of them and my focus is all divided. Hence I decided to make a single blog where you could find all my work and be active there.

Note: Please don’t take anything for offense. This is written purely for fun and teasing. Nothing is serious or offending to any character… I love them all so much to do so. Setting: After the Grand Magic games arc… Lucy, Natsu and  Happy take a job to slay a demon.

Fat, Fatter, Fattest

Summary: Because Lucy was too concerned that she was fat…. NaLu friendship fic for the friendship day…

“You know, Lucy, you’re getting heavy” he whispered to her in a low tone. His pink hair swayed with the bursts of wind due to explosions. His nonchalant face fell into a serious silence before placing her in a place where she would be safe from the monster they were hired to fight. It was not that she couldn’t protect herself. The problem was with the extent of magic she already used trying to fight him. She was exhausted. He could see it - despite her denial (of course, including the remarks about her weight). She could shout all he wants but it was now his turn to finish the demon. He’s been itching to do it ever since they stepped out of the guild. “Stay where you are. I’ll take care of him in a jiffy” Unknowingly he managed to offend the celestial spirit mage. He turned around to look at an embarrassed blonde fumbling with her whip. Stubborn was she just like him. He smiled unsure- not knowing if the whip was for the demon or for him. He was glad when the embarrassment was wiped off her face and replaced by annoyance. Her hazel brown orbs threatened him to say those same words again. Like he was going to say the same. He mentally clicked his tongue. A chuckle escaped his lips and he focussed his power away from his team mate and onto the demon. “Happy!” he called out for the exceed to lift him to the sky. And with one attack, he made him burn to mere ash, after it burst out. The pieces from the blast flew all over the place, including one right in Lucy’s direction. His instincts and Happy’s told them they had to protect the blonde ignoring her protests of taking care of herself. Her whip lay unused and she was fuming at the overprotective side of her friends. She sulked as the dragon slayer merely chuckled. Silence prevailed until Happy shed crocodile tears, making the blonde’s mood even worse. “Luuuucy” he sang, “You’re soooo heavy” “Shut up, you stupid cat!” she scowled, allowing herself to be carried. She however soon found herself letting out a smile. They were her friends right? Just like always… :: 0 :: It was bad. Even though they were friends and team mates, they shouldn’t say such a bad thing to a girl. She was drying her hair in her washroom when she looked at her image in the mirror. She tilted a little to check if she was growing fat anywhere on her body. She was sure she didn’t skip on her meals or exercise. She does a warm up every day. She also definitely does eat less- she’d be starving if she compared what she ate to Natsu’s. Then, how the hell can she become heavy? They surely were teasing her. That must be it. That must be- Wait, what if it wasn’t? What if she really grew fat? She must be looking ugly now. That is bad. Really bad. She turned a 360 degree and checked herself out. She should do something about her eating habits. Maybe she should go on a diet. Or perhaps she should increase her training duration? She should curb the growth of fat and stop her physique from changing. She must be eating unconsciously. Natsu’s habits might have been getting to her. That must be the case otherwise it doesn’t make sense. “Hey, Natsu. Do you think….you…. and you know… Lucy…” She heard muffled voices of a certain cat that immediately came to her mind as soon as she heard it. Lucy put the towel away and leaned closer to the door to the adjacent room. A lady should never eavesdrop but she wasn’t a lady anymore. She didn’t care… they were certainly talking about something. What if this was…? Blood shot through to her face the moment she considered the possibility. She smacked herself in her mind and broke into laughter. This is a joke. She wouldn’t believe it otherwise. She won’t fall for the same trick twice. “Yes, Happy… I think I do… Lucy… She…” She couldn’t be redder than she was now. This is so not happening. She is a lady even without the land or estate. She shouldn’t… It is not right… “I understand that Lucy totally fell for it!” he laughed with the feline’s occasional giggles accompanying his mirth. “You saw her face*giggle* when I said she was heavy*giggle*?… She was ready to *giggle*kill me but she couldn’t *giggle*because she would be in trouble *giggle* It was priceless” “But I don’t think I should say that to her…” Lucy was touched by his concern for her feelings. She truly was until… “She looked so mad that Erza could die by her glare. I don’t want to go through that life-death experience again” Natsu said. “Maybe you should say something like she got fat the next time you carry her. It would be fun to see her overreact” She heard laughter on the other side and a vein popped on her forehead. “Imagine what she would do if I say she is fatter than anyone in the guild…” the feline retorted. “No, Happy, you should probably say she is the fattest in Fiore…” his voice paused for a second before resuming “It would be an antique reaction” Another vein popped on her forehead and was ready to burst. “Natsu… I think it is not right. I don’t think there is a word like ‘fattest’ in the dictionary” “ ‘Dictionary’? What is that?” “It is a book that Lucy uses…. You remember that thick book Lucy used to hit you in the head last time you went to meet her” “That book! It knocked me unconscious till the next day. I still don’t understand how I got into her room though. Lucy is weird like I thought. She was mad that I came to visit her and was sad that I was injured. I can never understand her” “Me too. Lucy is very weird…” “Yeah, she is weird…” She couldn’t resist herself anymore. “Sorry for being weird and soooo heavy…” A dreadful aura surrounded her and a sinister smile was on her face. “Yiiikes, Lucy!” the dragonslayer and the exceed hugged each other as they faced a mad celestial spirit mage in her most offensive mood. Before she could react, they fled from the place leaving her to blink. “Come back, you jerks!” she shouted from her place. :: 0 :: Natsu turned around as he saw her shout after them. “Hey Happy… It worked” He smiled at the cat. “Yes, she is totally convinced that we were teasing her. Is it safe for us, though?” “I don’t know. Knowing Lucy… it just might be safe for us but we might not get to see the same reaction the same time when you tell her she’s heavy” the dragon slayer seemed down. “I’ll miss it too…” “Atleast she won’t be staring into mirror in her pajamas for hours” “I agree” the cat nodded “But you know she is getting kind of heavy…” “Yeah… in a good way” they both smiled at each other. They stared off into the moonlight as they left for their home. They’d have to sleep there instead of at Lucy’s place for the next few days after the stunt they pulled. It was dangerous but it was worth it. The blonde probably was smiling to herself at how foolish she was. Knowing her so well, they too couldn’t wipe the smile off their faces…

Laxus: ...

Freed: You shouldn't be so impolite to him. Do you have any idea how hard he trained for it the whole of the past year?

Me: Really?

Laxus: *embarassed and hisses to Freed to stay silent*

Me: Hey, are those minor NaLu hugs we saw in the chapter?

Mira: I missed one but I did capture the other. If you want one, it will cost 20000 jewels.

Me: *sad because broke*

Mira: Although the Gruvia hug will cost 50000 jewels, it is a super rare thing for Gray to allow Juvia to hug him.

Gray: Hey, it was not supposed to be known. Besides she was the one hugging me. I didn't ask her or allow her!

Mira and me: We know. We know. You don't see her as more than a friend. *sarcastic*

Gray: *blushes understanding the intentions*

Natsu: Laxus, fight me!

Laxus: Tch... Shut up!

Ichiya: I won't allow you to ruin my ship, Men!

Lucy: Natsu, think of the repair charges. I don't even have any money to pay for my rent.

Makarov: My family.... my beloved family hasn't changed one bit in the past year... *tears up* Oh, Erza, please continue to be the master for a while.

Erza: *stoned*

The ‘NaLu’ Day

Summary: Because they said it was the ‘NaLu’ day but neither knows what it is supposed to mean… NaLu

“Lucy, You’re finally here! Come help me out!” the pink-haired dragon slayer called out to the blonde who walked in just now. She gazed at all the guild members being busy with decorations. She couldn’t help but wonder if there was a festival nearby. Natsu was excited about it and she was well… tired after just arriving that morning from the mission. Surprisingly they finished earlier than they were supposed to. The client was not happy that they were leaving. It seemed so suspicious to her. But what was happening now was even more suspicious… “What’s all this for?” she asked. The dragon slayer looked at the celestial spirit mage in disbelief and later chuckled, not before pointing out how weird she was. “It’s nalu day, stupid!” He grinned- wondering whatever ‘nalu’ was. Perhaps it is this ‘nalu’ guy’s birthday. Oh, then we have to prepare a present. We were running out of time. He thought. Her silence notified him of her lack of recollection of the said day. “You don’t remember? We celebrated it last year too” He pointed out. He clearly remembered having a grand feast last year under the Rainbow Sakuras. The whole of Magnolia joined too. Clearly, he felt smarter than Lucy for remembering the fact and its details. “Yeah, but why are we celebrating such a day?...” She questioned. She wondered that last year too but never could come up with any plausible explanations. Perhaps it was just another day for the guild to party. Seriously, these people are making excuses to slack off. She thought. “Hmmmm…. Who knows? It’s Mira’s order and Erza is the supervisor. You can question them if you want” Lucy imagined the scenario and froze for a second, earning concern from her now boyfriend. “I’d rather pass on it” She declined his polite offer of death. “Now come we are getting late. We have to finish the preparations before Erza starts her check ups” He grabbed her hand and dragged her with him.  She let him- a smile adorning her face as a glimpse of the little ring on her finger caught her eyes. It became bigger recollecting how he proposed to her a few days back, on the exact same day they got together two years back. Although they announced it to the guild a couple days later- one because they were on a mission together without Happy and two because of their revenge for the pranks the guild members played to get them together. But still… she couldn’t put a finger on what this ‘Nalu’ day was… She’d just have to let her have some time to think and she’ll figure out. For now, she’ll just enjoy her time with the guild and her Natsu…

“Are they really this dense?” The ice mage said, being a witness to the conversation just now (from far). “I thought Lucy was smarter than this” “Poor souls, they don’t even realise we are celebrating the day they got together two years back. Love does really make you blind” Mira appeared all so suddenly from behind, giggling to herself. “Sheesh, whoever came up with this ridiculous idea?!” Gray grunted, tired of being the errand boy for the past three days. If the errands were small it would have been fine. One day he’d be ordered to bring the strawberries from Mt. Hakobe- the sweetest ones at that (definitely Erza’s order) and the other day, he’d be asked to go all the way to Crocus to get some flower. He was simply tired of it all. Like always, his time was bad though- very bad. A smiling Mira now had tears at the ends of her eyes. Gray realised his slip of tongue and wondered why he always says such stuff knowing only the takeover mage could come up with it. His fear for life increased ten-fold when he saw an angry Erza (in the NaLu day support team headed by Mira) marched towards the duo, wanting to know who upset Mira on the auspicious day. So much for opening my mouth for the first time in three days… Way to go Gray! He thought, trying his best to save his life. After all, he had his day too- one for him and Juvia. He had to be alive till then. Especially since his punishment included two days devoted to them (not that he minded but he was a shy fellow. Everyone knows! XD) Mira had it all planned- and no one messes with the demon’s plans- not a dragon slayer or a devil slayer.

What are the chances that the scarf Igneel gave Natsu was actually given to Igneel by Zeref (in order that Natsu would be safe from his curse when they meet)?

I don’t know about you but I find it promising...

After a lot of struggle and intense fight, Alvarez manages to get it hands on the Fairy Heart. During the celebration when one of the 12 comments about destroying Fiore using the weapon, Zeref almost kills him before letting him go. He walks out of the room where the mages of his kingdom were partying and watches the stars shining down on him.

He smiles realizing he was not alone, although his company was someone he cannot see, feel or harm.

Zeref: Welcome to the party, Mavis. I really wasn't expecting you. *delighted*

Mavis: I see... You finally got your hands on Fairy Heart... *not the least bit happy*

Zeref: *smirks* Never been so delighted to get anything more

Mavis: So what will you do now? Will you use it to destroy Fairytail? Whole of Fiore? Or the Universe?

Zeref: (his hands fall down to his side from the railing of the balcony. His smirks falls down into a tight-lip. He could feel her scorning through the air)

Mavis: What now? Why are you silent? Congratulations, you've succeeded in your plan-

Zeref: I won't use it.

Mavis: What? *shocked*

Zeref: I won't use it. Rather... I can't use it...

Mavis: What do you mean? Does it mean you don't know how to use it? I'm sure you can figure it out. You are a genius after all. *still fuming*

Zeref: I might be a genius but still... I cannot use the heart of a woman I loved, no matter how desperate I am to destroy everything... (smiles and leaves)

Mavis: *dumbfounded* *speechless*

After a while, she smiles sadly. A faint blush is evident on her cheeks.

Mavis: (to herself) I knew he once told me but I never thought he was serious about it. *pouting* Well, the problem is sorted then. It is in good hands- my heart.

A/n: Highly inspired by the recent FT chapter and my head canon for Zeref and Mavis… I just love those two together! XD

His Curse

Summary: In which Zeref is freed from his curse…. ZerVis and NaLu… *Spoiler alert*

What is this? He wondered. His black strands of hairs swayed with the wind. His expression was incomprehensible. His mind was in chaos. Bewilderment reined over the entire region with the mages- the ones who could have killed him using the ultimate weapon… Lumen Histoire… Or should we call it Fairy Heart?... The masters of the guild of Ishgar were astounded as the ultimate weapon to defeat Zeref didn’t even leave a scratch on him. Instead his wounds were healed- completely. What in the world happened? I was supposed to die! This was supposed to be the end! His eyes darted to his little brother who laid on the ground, wounded- a consequence of the intense battle a little while ago. The celestial spirit mage overcame her shock quicker than others, rushing to his aid. The other mages of both Ishgar and Alvarez were gravely wounded and stunned as the light from the ultimate weapon subsided. Silence prevailed for a few moments before the gravely injured turned into barely injured and those who had minor injuries made a complete recovery. Everyone exclaimed in surprised etched with confusion. No one could understand the nature of the light which filled the earth a few minutes prior. It was supposed to be the final battle… He wasn’t supposed to be breathing after this… Zeref slammed his fists into the harsh ground. The contact inflicted pain but the one his heart was in was even worse. There was no way he could be alive! There was no way the weapon healed his wounds! He was cursed! He was too cursed to die… He can’t see her nor can he feel her nor be with her alive or dead. “Why don’t you stop me, Mavis?! You said Fairytail would stop me! I truly believed I could rest in peace after the past four hundred years at last. Why? Why, Mavis? Fairy Heart was supposed to end my curse, wasn’t it? Why am I still alive?!” His outrage sent shivers down the strongest mages standing. Blood poured out from the fresh wounds of impact and painted the ground red. From the corner of his eyes, he saw the wounded dragon slayer approach him with him unsteady steps. It seemed the power from light could only heal the injuries but couldn’t restore stamina or strength. He would be exhausted after the extent of energy he used in the last battle. Thankfully, he was aided by the blonde mage who helped him maintain stability. “Stay back!” he muttered dangerously, “Stay away!” The pink haired guy flinched at the tone, looking at his companion for advice. He contemplated on how to approach the man he was bent on killing. Zeref didn’t intend for this to happen. He despised himself even more than he usually did. But what could he do? To him, Natsu’s life was precious. And the more precious the life is, the faster it would be taken away by his curse… His curse hasn’t ended. That meant anything precious to him will be taken away just like years ago when a certain blonde was taken away…. “Stay back…. Don’t come close…” he muttered, his eyes focused on the soils beneath him. His warning didn’t work or it seemed. His brother nodded at his companion who returned his look. Supporting each other, they walked towards him. “Stay back! Don’t come close to me! Stay away from me!” Fear flickered in his eyes. His muttering changed into shouts but nothing could keep the duo from closing in on the dark mage. He stumbled back but their feet steadily closed the distance between them. For once, Zeref knew nothing he could do as he watched his brother bend down to his knees (with the blonde’s help of course). “Nii-chan…” Zeref perked up at the honorific he used. A smile started to form on the pink haired man’s face as he said the words “It’s over…” “Nothing is over! Go away from me! You’ll die any minute otherwise!” he yelled. “No, nii-chan… It is over”, he smiled wider. Everyone was still in confusion. He could see him friends trying to talk him into going out of his range so that he won’t be hurt by his curse. He locked his eyes with the hazel browns of his brother’s companion. She smiled at him. Her eyes reflected her pure feelings (despite the fact that he tried to hurt her to anger his brother) which comforted him and told him it was over just like his brother did. But he knew it was not. It was not… It was not… Why don’t you check it for yourself? Two voices told him- the voices of the two reckless people half-sitting before him. He looked at the woman once- as if asking for permission- before he extended his hand and caressed his brother’s cheek. The dragonslayer leaned into the caress as he smiled wider. “It is really over now… The First did end your curse. You’re free now” “But… t-the-e-e, cur-rse…. It was supposed to end only by my death, right?!” “No,” the blonde replied. “Your death was probably a way out of it. But the First was intelligent… She figured out another way- Fairy Heart” “Fairy Heart was supposed to be the ultimate weapon of destruction isn’t it?” “From what I see, it was never meant to destroy anything… Fairy Heart is not a magic for destruction… It is… The First’s feelings for this world, for Fairytail … and for you…” He could feel the air around him become warmer. He couldn’t see her but he was sure she was somewhere near him. His suspicions were cleared once he saw everyone gasp at him. “Zeref… Don’t be afraid… This time I’ve really put an end to your curse. Your curse is over… You’re free now..” Her sweet voice echoed in his ears. Tears emerged in his eyes. No matter how much he stopped himself, no matter how much he wiped, they kept flowing down his cheeks. “But I don’t want to live in a world where you don’t breathe. Why did I not die? Why did you have to save me and take my death upon yourself? Why is your magic not the least bit offensive when I did so much worse?” The air around his neck tightened like something wrapped itself around his neck. Then he exactly knew where she was- though he couldn’t see, touch or feel her by his senses. “You’re the one who taught me real magic. If mine is gentle, so was yours… Besides… You were dying all those years already. For once…. I wanted you to live” “Mavis…” He had a look of longing before his tears took over his eyes. “Don’t worry about me. I won’t go anywhere. I’ll always be with you in your heart. I’ll be watching over you. So, live for me… for the both of us… ne, Zeref?” “Mavis…” Pulling his brother into an embrace, he could only comfort himself and convince himself to live once again. But this time… it wasn’t so hard. He could live in this world…. With his brother and his family perhaps… atone for his sins… and perhaps… he’d meet her once his life ends… His curse was over… He was only a mere mortal now… He was sure, someday- when his life is taken away from him, he would meet her in the afterlife… The only change will be- this time he would try hard to survive and not die… for the both of them…

To My Dearest

Summary: “Don’t make excuses to come near me” A misunderstanding caused a drift in their relationship. Even after 5 years, will the fire in his heart extinguish or will he continue to hurt her with it?… NaLu

Chapter 001

:: Beginning ::

“Where am I?” the woman wondered, waking up in the middle of the golden plains. The wind was strong, making her blonde hair sway just like the grass. Her hazel eyes searched for any form of familiarities. She felt lonely, very much that she was going to tear up.

Her eyes felt strained from all the searching and began to water. That was when she spotted him- A man with pink hair. Could it be-? Could he be-? “Lucy! Luce!” he tried to get her attention by waving at her. Water oozed out from her eyes as she heard him call her name.

She ran to the place where he stood. She took in his tanned formed. It took all of her might to stop her from tearing up. Her eyes met his onyx ones.

“Natsu..” she called, wondering if it was real. It should be a dream, a sweet little dream.

“Hey, Lucy” he cupped her face in his hands and drawing it closer to him. Planting a kiss on her forehead, he asked her how she had been.

She wiped her tear, a smile now gracing her lips. She rested her head on his shoulders and replied in affirmative.

He pulled her closer and ran his hands through her blonde tresses in an attempt to coo her. The woman seemed so frail that he wanted to protect her.

“It’s been a long time we’ve been like this. Lucy, I want to be like this forever. Will you marry me?” he asked. A blush formed on her face. Pulling back slightly, she hit him in his arm.

“Do you have amnesia or what? I’ve been married to you for seven years now” she scoffed.

He chuckled. He sealed her lips with his and smiled.

“Mama! Papa!” they broke apart- Natsu with a little sheepish smile and Lucy with a blush. They turned in the direction of the voice and saw a little girl running towards them. Her pink hair swayed with the wind as she ran against it. She stopped infront of the couple who were now on their knees. The little girl was panting. Once she could catch her breath, she hugged the both of them. The couple smiled at their dear daughter and looked to each other.

Nothing could’ve made Lucy happier. She had the best husband and the most adorable daughter. She was-

“What is happening? The plains, why are they turning red?” she thought.

“Mama, Mama, I’m scared” her little girl trembled in fear.

“Don’t worry, Nashi. Papa will save us. He’s right-“ she looked to her right but… there was only thin air. Natsu was not there.

He was not there.

“Mama, where is Papa?”

“He must be here somewhere, Nashi. Be strong. Papa will come and save us”

“I’m scared, Mama. Papa! Papa, where are you?” she tried calling her beloved father. But to no avail would he come to their aid.

Everything turned black. Now Lucy couldn’t even see her daughter lest hear her screams.

“Nashi! Natsu! Where are you?!” she cried. She didn’t know what to do. She was in some black nothingness with nowhere to go. Then somewhere in the corner she saw a flash of pink.

“Natsu? Natsu!” she shouted but he didn’t turn back. She chased after him but he only went farther. The more she ran, the farther he seemed.

“Natsu, can’t you hear me?! Natsu!” The next moment she saw herself standing there facing him.

“We’re over Lucy” his voice could be heard.

“W-What a-are y-you saying?” she was shivering.

“I’m not coming back. I won’t… I won’t love you anymore” With that, he disappeared from her sight.

She fell to her knees, tears welling up and spilling out of her eyes. “Natsu!”

“Natsu…”

“Mama! Mama! Papa, Mama is not waking up. Do something, Papa. Look she’s crying now!” the little girl tugged on his sleeve, urging him to do something about the situation. The girl was panicking and he had no clue what to do.

“I’m thinking. I’m thinking. I don’t know what to do. What does your mother do when you have a nightmare?” he asked his daughter.

“She gives me a big huggie” she said. Her eyes flashed and her tiny hands tried to wrap themselves around her mother’s crying figure. But she was heavy for a little girl like her. “Help me here, Papa”

The male grunted, before complying with his daughter. He raised her from the bed and held her in his arms. His daughter wrapped her hands around her waist, trying hard to make her comeback from her nightmare.

Natsu gave a little chuckle at his daughter’s antics. He gazed at the sleeping woman in his arms.

“When was the last time I held her?” he wondered. Memories from the past flashed in his mind and he began gripping her tighter.

One of her hand wrapped around his neck, while the other tightened around his sleeve.

“Natsu..” she called out his name. The whole situation was painful, for her, for him and for his daughter who was trying to be brave to wake up her mother. Lucy was definitely making it even harder.

Tears began running down her cheeks wetting his shirt. As he wondered if she was awake or asleep, she slowly opened her eyes. They widened as she saw him leaning close to her. Her grip on him tightened in disbelief.

‘Was it really not a dream?’ She pondered.

She felt another pair of hands realease her and sigh in relief.

“Mama, you’re awake. I and Papa were worried. Did you have a nightmare?” she asked with a cute frown on her face. “I’ll get you some water”

The little girl got down the bed ever so carefully and exited the room. The sound of her footsteps faded soon. The girl is so energetic early in the morning.

As soon as he realised his daughter was nowhere near the room, he grasped her hand rather roughly and removed it from his sleeve. He pushed her away from him, adding to her confusion.

“Don’t…” he paused. He got up and walked towards the door. “Don’t make excuses to come closer to me”

With that, he left her, like in the dream she had the morning.

“No, that was no dream. It was neither a nightmare. That was the reality of our relationship”

A/n: I’m taking a 30 day writing challenge starting today, just for fun. I’m taking the prompts from “A drabble a day” challenge on tumblr and writing this story. I’m finally putting this story idea from long back to use.
