₁. personal diary ; 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 | moleskine daily planner + trinkets !

Daily entries about life, my days and feelings. I always try to keep it updated as much as i can despite my lack of cosistency sometimes (especially when life becomes rought). I've been using this method and layout sonce 2018 and it works the best for me. I usually despice lined notebooks and yet this moleskine daily it's perfect for my little handwriting. The paper is thin but not see-through and it has that oerfect yellowish colour.

₂. seventeen journal ; 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 | ring journal + keychains !

⁣the new entry for the year is this ring binder. i used to write about my favourite kpop group in my daily diary but i want a different type of support for it starting this year. I mostly rant about my bias, which are seungcheol and jeonghan (since 2016 — i'm old...) but i write about everyone in the group. I love to create every kind of aesthetic spreads or just acknowledging their success as a proud fan.

₃. archaeology journal + travel journal ; 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 + 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 | moleskine dotted expanded + paperblank !

These two are my most prized possession. The archaeology journal is my compendium abut my studies and experiences in the field. I got my 'laurea' last july and started my new degree in september so i look forward to what life would bring me. I'm really excited and ready to fill it up with more adventures. I can say the same about my travel journal — I'm yet to update it with my last trip to Egypt but i'm so ready to dig in.

₄. the enciclopedia ; 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒈𝒐𝒍𝒅 | muji ring journal + square paper !

My last entry for the year is my "enciclopedia", a project which i'm starting and honestly i'm still not sure if i want to share it online. It comprehends my knwoledge so mostly my favourite movies, books, my reflections on them and on every kind of subject i find interesting.

presenting my personal archive ; it'll contain all my knowledge mostly about archaeology, arts and history, which are the topics of my degree. other than those subjects, I'll love to dive into all sort of tipics such as videogames' lore, movies and books, plants and nature, my favourite type of music and everything that could be an inspiration to me.

I'll mostly post about it on here, just to have a little archive in one place on this big world called web. just know that i mostly catalog everything personally on my various journals and notebooks in my mother tongue, Italian. when I can I'll try to post on this blog, in english, the main topics of discussion or things I'm particularly fond and proud of.

⁣⁣ 𓂃 . * ✴ ๋࣭ ⭑ 𓋹 | about these months — arcariantiqua 𓍢ִ໋🀦

July brought a lot of new interesting challenges for me ! Now that we are at its end I can surely say that it was the best month of the year so far. It wasn't easy and it was hard for me to be online ( nothing new ; even though I love writing on this personal blog when I feel the inspiration ! ) or even present on any social platform. It's certainly because when I face important steps in my life I tend to not speak about them with anybody but this time, now and after everything is done, I will narrate what happened in brief !

First of all I graduated in cultural heritage, writing about a site I love dearly, the archaeological site of Tarquinia and its pottery materials. I'm really proud of myself, maybe for the first time in a long while and I'm happy to know now what I'd love to do for life: the archaeologist. During the month I reflected a lot and I came to the conclusion that study is really what I love doing the most so I enrolled for the next year in archaeology.

After me and my mother decided to book a little trip just to relax in Egypt. However, my historical side cannot be contained for more than a few days, so we decided to visit the ancient temples of Karnak and Luxor as well as the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of the pharaohs of the new reign were buried. It was a perfect experience, being able to finally see what I study only on books with my own eyes! I was so overwhelming I cried like a baby as soon as I stepped into Karnak. Really a dream come true !

⁣⁣𓂃 . * ✴ | the. 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐍 — my 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 books .ᐟ

wanted to open a little bookish place where I could recommend books I loved and the ones I didn't like at all. a sort of list of titles I read during the years, to keep them in one place with their reviews ! — I mostly read historical fictions / history and archaeologic titles / thriller and horror ; but being a curious person by nature, makes me read and be interested in almost every genre.

to be completely honest, I kinda like how this year began. my birthday was at the end of March ( not so long ago ;; ) and I love what I received. the list includes: elden ring artbooks, a bunch of very interesting books that I bought with a 30€ gift card, a new cover for my diary, hua cheng doll !!!

I'm also very lucky because I was chosen for an archaeological excavation in September, the same site I'm doing thesis on! I'm really excited about it, it would be my first experience of this kind and I can't wait. However I need to write my thesis first and that work, unfortunately, is not an easy one. I started the first chapter but I'm still unsure of how it's coming out. I'm not a very self conscious person and I underestimate myself most of the time, but I'll try to stay positive and continue it with the main goal: the archaeological excavation in September.
