I wish the occasion was happier but after 17 years I am back in Scotland waiting for my mother to arrive at the airport. Her older brother, my uncle, passed away and we are here to cremate his remains and settle his small estate. He passed two days short of his 94th birthday after a long mental decline. He was a great uncle and friend and I have many happy memories of sitting in pubs with him drinking McEwan’s 80/~ and talking and laughing about anything and everything. This one’s for you Eric. RIP.
