sometimes it feels like talking to anyone will be a bother, like it’s easier to just not saying anything until it starts killing me. but that’s damaging and self destructive and i know that there are people in my life who would want me to confide in them rather than suffer alone. so this is a reminder to myself and anyone who needs it.

no one will come to save you but some will offer you their hand to hold when life gets tough and those are the ppl that matter

even against all odds, my heart is stubbornly hopeful that if i just pray a little harder and hold on a little longer, everything will be okay.

some people will try to convince you that what they’ve settled for or accepted in their life is ‘just how things are’ and that your aspirations or expectations are unrealistic because deep down they’re unhappy and can’t cope with the reality that it is possible for things to be better than this
