recently saw ppl discuss whether they put their medicines in a kitchen cabinet or a bathroom cabinet and i was shocked by the fact that many ppl said kitchen cabinet. so now i need you to reblog this and say where you keep yours

It's especially noticeable when you see how angry certain fans get when their theories get dismissed. They feel such ownership of the work when the only thing they did was show up and enjoy something. I've literally seen people turn on their favorite authors and claim that the fans are the important part in this equation because the author "would be nothing without them". Girl (gender-neutral), you're not engaging in charity here. You showed up because you wanted to, nobody owes you shit. Just because you like the restaurant, doesn't mean you get to make up your own menu and get pissy when the author tells you "no".

I need a polite and effective way to say "hey your heart is truly in the right place and your anger is often righteous but I think sometimes you’re getting recreationally mad about things that are frankly not worth the amount of energy you’re spending on them, and every time you do this you're driving yourself slightly more insane with nothing to show for it," and then I need a way to broadcast that message through a loudspeaker to roughly 30,000 people at once, and THEN I need a time machine to send that message to my past self lol. and maybe a second time machine in case past me tries to be clever and sabotage the version of me who comes through the first time machine

"you cannot have a category of person that stops being a person or everyone that someone wants to get rid of is going to end up being put in that category" and other really fucking obvious and basic observations that everyone ignores in favor of putting people they want to get rid of into a category they think makes them stop being a person
