You were always their for me,

I left you for what I thought was a good reason.

But sometimes you plague my thoughts.

The Moon, to be, your only ally.

As the only soul willing to put up with your spite,

Yielding her own thoughts to comply.

As the Sun has her own day to incite.

The sky, oh the beautiful sky! How you glisten in my eyes. Your use of a paint brush is immaculate! Each night, each morning, a new and extravagant sight awaits gracing my eyes to its beauty. I sit at my window like a little kid on Christmas, watching your colors dance through the air. As a child like giddiness washes over me each time I watch you rise on my dreary walk to the bus stop. The dark winter mornings make it harder for me to see your vast beauty as you haven’t brought your warm bright eyes over my horizon yet. However the nights you set so early. It’s barely time to start preparing supper before you have to leave to rest yourself.

I dropped them.

I know I should,

But they were there for me for a whole year plus.

I need them!

As much as they have crossed the line,

They still are my friends.

I don’t know if I can do that again.

I’ve told them I don’t know if I can deal with that again.

Inktober day 4, I did this in school :)

I tried to extend myself.

And you left me standing alone,

In a crowd of people I didn’t know,

With people I hate,

With people who have hurt me,

With a school that wasn’t my own.

Don’t ask me why I’m so quiet.
