hi asscreed fandom, my friend @orphiceonian has unwittingly made me your problem for the next 31 days bc it's codextober time baby!

I’ve been in many fandoms and whatnot over my many years being on the internet, and this is just one of those things I’ve seen too many times. It’s comically stupid when they misinterpret criticism as hate for whatever media it may be that is the topic of discussion. It’s fine to like whatever you like with your whole heart but it’s another thing to take personal offence to valid criticism. It’s pretty important to think critically on what you love, because all media is made by humans who aren’t perfect.

Like how I love Assassin’s Creed Unity. Great game, I love the setting… BUT there is some issues I have with the story. Does that mean I hate it? No. Actually I find the choices kinda funny and it adds to the entertainment. I mean have you seen how they characterize Saint Just? COMICALLY EVIL SJ REAL!! Him and his HUMAN SKIN jacket (whyyy??? LMAO) They didn’t even really give him a personalized model lmao, the poor guy. Not to mention Robespierre… that is not my Robespierre. Why’s he so tall??? At least he’s got his stupid (affectionate) little outfit. Along side all this, you are forced to be friends with none other than Napoleon (🤢/j) dun dun dunnnnn!! The point is, I still like this game despite that all.
