folklore (2020) front and back of a folklore vinyl reimaged // the front is a distant capture of a person’s life. we typically only know the surface level of most people, but here, I imagine this person is inviting us in to peel back the layers and happenstances of her life that she hasn’t told anyone before. // the back is a close up of a person (taylor, in this case) where we have taken a magnifying glass to her life and discovered what has happened to her, including her dreams, fears, and romances. she is now much more exposed yet content with people knowing about her personal life as she believes she will be better understood.
